Although I haven't made it since black belt prep took up much of my time after spring hit, I want to go back and do more. I love all the crystals and fun metaphysical gifts in the shop. It is a little tiny shop, so it could get crowded (the crystal terrariums event was a big hit, so there was a long line to get supplies). The craft events are usually outdoors, so it can be a tad cold in the winter months, but it's fun for socializing with strangers. Julia, the owner, is awesome! She's such a fun spirit, and I'm hoping more people can experience Witchy Wednesdays too!

I was thrilled to see that there is a new Wanderlust store in Holiday, Utah cross the street from the new Trader Joe's in the little shopping center near the movie theater. Actually next-door to the movie theater. It's larger and more spread out.. It has a bigger selection of international candy and international items. The new owner is a world traveler and was dying to open up a shop and that would show many of the cultures that she learned to love. It's a new store. I'd highly recommend.

I was in the market for a cigar as a gift, but I don't really know anything about cigars. However,…read moreI have driven past the Tinder Box before, so I knew a place that could help me out. Service was friendly and helpful-the nice lady at the counter walked me through the humidor and pointed out a few options that might be good and were within my price range. I ultimately landed on a selection of apostate cigars from a Utah-based company, because I thought the recipient (from out of state) would appreciate that. She helped me package them up and gave me some pointers on how to keep them fresh between now and when I give them in a few days. The "water pillow" and putting the cigars in a zip-lock baggie would keep them from drying out, she said. In addition to cigars, there is a good amount of other gift items at the front of the store. Tarot cards, novelty jewelry, socks, beard accessories, etc. There's lots of fun things to browse and likely a gift idea or two to be found. While I may not ever take up smoking myself, I will keep this one in my back pocket in the event I need a gift in the future.
