This was my daughter's 3rd year attending breakfast with Santa and Gardner Village. This year my husband and I were also invited to the once tradition between our daughter and her grandmother. The servers and staff were welcoming, kind, and accommodating. They brought us pancakes without chocolate chips that we enjoyed so much. Santa's elf's were fun and upbeat. The space was cozy and my daughter loved the games and music. The snowball fight with Santa will be a core memory for me. We hope to return for years to come.

Gardner Village is a charming little community of unique businesses that are quaint and cottage-like in design. It feels very homey walking around here - there are interesting boutiques and shops, restaurants, a spa and salon, a photography studio, petting zoo, etc. It's a very interesting place, and as another review stated - it does feel quite like a little village when you're walking around it. We came here for Witchfest in October, and they definitely go all out for the holidays here! They had different themed witches throughout the village, discounts at participating stores, witch costumes and witch hats for sale, activities, real life witches to pose with, a small rides/carnival area for little kids, and a train that went around the whole village. I would highly recommend going to Witchfest during the week as opposed to the weekend. We went on the weekend and it was PACKED. It was an hour and a half wait for the train and it was crowded everywhere. We went to the kids carnival area, which was cute and was loved by the little ones, and luckily it wasn't too packed in there, although we still had to wait in a bit of a line to get in. A cute place to visit during the holidays, with a lot of unique little places to explore.

Gardner Village is a nice place to walk around, shop, and enjoy their festivities - mostly Halloween and Christmas. As you can see, they really dress up the shops and make it fun for people to go to. It's great fun for little kids to adults to get into the spirit of the holidays! Check them out!

This was a fun place to visit! I hadn't heard of the village as I was visiting from out of town on convention so when I saw their freeway banner I had to investigate. They have a little train that will take you around on a trip on site. Super cute. And all these elves in different activities all over the village bringing Christmas alive. I loved each scene. We saw a gorgeous covered bridge and ducks fish swimming in the water below. I saw I lot of families stopping for family photos and selfies, I can totally understand why, the scene just exploded with winter and Christmas. I visited several stores, got books as gifts, some stickers from another store and chocolate from yet another. Their taffy was hand pulled and delicious. You should really try and stop here. It was a delightful way to spend my afternoon.

Fun place to spend the afternoon meandering through shops. The constant changing of themes/festivals keeps things interesting. My little dog digs the atmosphere. Probably because she gets lots of pets.

this is a quaint village with several different shops, boutiques, and restaurants, they even have a cute little chocolate factory. We enjoy coming here on the holidays as they have it all lit up and Christmas music playing. there are several little elves all around the village and they even had a elf hunt so you can bring your little kids and do a elf hunt here. they have a QR code with a list of elves to find. It's pretty cool to see that several of the buildings are historic and have been relocated from different states and areas from an earlier time. My only complaint is the pockets of sewage oder in two different spots throughout the village and when you smell it, I mean you really smell it. I am not certain as to why this hasn't been fixed or given attention to. It does put a damper on such a lovely experience with lovely buildings, lights, ambience, music, activities.........and then there's sewage.

This is a fun place for the whole family. There are seasonal actives that are kid friendly and many stores to visit. There's even a farm and a kid train to ride around the property. There is plenty of parking on a normal day, but if you go for a special event, be prepared to walk a bit.

A small handful of speciality shops in an old time setting. There is one major restaurant serving comfort food, and they also have a magic show/dinner at the mystique dinner theater or neighborhood bakery. Don't forget the chocolate place. Do I sound hungry? Indoor soccer is on the grounds along with a petting zoo and pony rides. Some fun classes to take if your interested in painting, sewing or cake decorating. The shops are out of my budget but it's fun just to stroll around especially at Halloween time with all the fun activities for the kids.

This is a great place for some free seasonal entertainment. They do different themes activities and events throughout the year. Our families favorite is the witches festival. They have lots of themed shops, treats, and fun witch decorations to enjoy. If you have a little one they have pony rides, face painting and a scavenger hunt.

If you're looking for seasonal entertainment that will appeal to your entire entourage, look no further! There's truly something for everyone at Gardner Village, especially during Witches Fest. The local businesses, restaurants, and boutiques are all decorated for the autumn/Halloween holiday, employees dress as the most beautiful and intricate witches, and there are more photo-op spots that you can count! Grab a witch hat for $5 + tax from Shopaholics, get your face painted for $6, or even get your little one's nails painted for only $1 per nail from Soulstice Day Spa & Salon. After looping through the Village once or twice, stop the The Train Shoppe to purchase tokens for your little one to ride one of the several animatronics there. (2 tokens maximum, 1 token=$0.25)

I would rather drive 20 miles out of my way for a mall that has an abundant number of products and services I need to get stuff done. Luckily for me, The Shops at Fort Union are near me. Because of their location near the junction of Midvale, Cottonwood Heights, and Sandy, it's close to a heckuva lot of people in the SL Valley. The first thing I like is that it serves more a close-to-home crowd rather than the business lunch or general shopping crowd of say a Commons or The Shops at South Town. The tent pole store of The Shops at Fort Union is the Smith's: A tried-and-true grocery store with good prices and a stellar selection. The Commons and South Town don't. There's also a Walmart and -- at least very important to me -- is a Petco: toys, training, and grooming for my dogs. Obviously, food is important to us Yelpies! I find myself at Five Guys Burgers and Fries the most. There's also J Dawgs, Chick-Fil-A, Firehouse Subs, The Pie (the best pizza in town, and they deliver), Waffle Love, a Rumbi, Dickey's, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Teriyaki Express, Nagoya Sushi, Chili's, etc. There also several clothes-centric stores: Lane Bryant, Ross, Mr. Mac, Gordman's, and even DSW shoes. I could list places forever. My only beef is there is a complex right next to it with a Original Pancake House, a Wich Which, Coldstone, etc. that apparently aren't a part of the complex ... they aren't directly accessible and more of a pain to get to than they need to be. Overall though, a great place to shop!

The cheapest items are $2.25, but they carry some of the same things as Dollar-Fifty-And-Up Tree like the same LA Awesome sprays and LA Looks makeup. It's not only a place that people come when they are hungry or running an errand, this place holds events occasionally too. The Farmer's Market is here in the summer and it's a fun, festive destination in the winter to see the twinkling lights and decorated store windows. The parking can get a little tricky if you want to park right outside the place you are visiting. You could argue that it's a strip mall of sorts, but that doesn't quite do justice to what's going on here. They're trying to be more thoughtful by creating community spaces, and when there's a library involved, you know it's not exactly a standard retail plaza. The thing that I appreciate most is that there's an effort (surely someone on staff?) to create events. I've attended the farmers market here a couple of times and enjoyed the small but lovely gathering of farmers and artisans. I had some friends sell there and they enjoyed the experience. I think this model of creating community in a space is great--probably it's not been as easy in COVID, but the last year has made me appreciate even more that there are spaces like this.
