They confirmed that they had, in fact, called it in at 1 pm (12 pm local time) yesterday and verified once again the pharmacy location and phone number. Today I went there at 4 pm to pick it up only to be told by the pharmacy that they hadn't received it. They offered to transfer my entire prescription to their pharmacy which would then enable them to fill it for me but I wasn't interested in changing pharmacies... just getting enough medication until I returned home. They were nice about it, but I told them I had called my provider's office before coming who confirmed they had called it in so I believed they should have it. Just then another woman working in the back came up to "help." I had heard her complaining (grumbling?) since I got there about how she needed to leave or she'd get caught in traffic, so I wasn't surprised when she firmly restated to me that it hadn't been called in. Her "husband's a doctor" you see, and she sees this all the time where the doctor's office says they did something when they hadn't. Well guess what, Mrs. my-husband's-a-doctor, I'm not sure how your husband's offie is, but I've been going to the same provider for 15+ years and my experience tells me when they confirm they've done something, it's taken care of. On the other hand... there's a long list of reasons why I no longer use CVS as my regular pharmacy and today, you just made that list longer. May I suggest a little refresher on customer service?

I simply asked if she had some tape so that I could tape my package to make it more secure and Morgan snapped back with an attitude I don't think ever experienced before. She was mocking me as if asking for tape was some unreasonable request. After a few exchanges I told her she was being childish to which she threw herself down on the floor and started flailing her arms as if she was a child throwing a temper tantrum. I still am at a loss as to what the hell happened in that store today. Apparently she was the shift lead, but she is in no position to be in charge of anyone. She is incredibly unstable. Management, if you are reading these reviews please go review the video footage because she is a liability for your store. I want to add that there was a really kind girl working in the makeup department that was so helpful. Management should make her the shift lead not Morgan.

Only thing confusing about this whole deal is that there are two locations of CVS pharmacy's on 700 east. They are both on different parts of Sandy city, so depending you may get turned around or confused and could have your doctor accidentally pick the location that isn't closest to your house like I did. Macey's always has decent sales and my kids enjoy their signature King Kone ice cream cones. I sometimes like to grab a drink at the Starbucks in their store or a freshly made sushi roll created by their own sushi chef. They also have a rotating selection of three delicious soups, amazing hot sandwiches, and wood-fired pizzas. There's fresh squeezed fruit juices, and my favorite garden fresh salsa, antipasto bar, etc. The grocery store is always neat and kept super clean. Plus the employees are so personable and kind! My absolute favorite person there is a cashier named Shaima who remembers me by name and always asks about my family, plus she gives great food recommendations to try. I notice that she makes all the customers laugh and smile, so I always look for her when I'm checking out, because she's so uplifting and pleasant. :) I really enjoy this store and the happy employees. List of random things I willl admit to running over to Walgreen's for: a gallon of milk, Dove deodorant, sugar free Jell-O, Zicam, Emergen-C, NyQuil, 0 calorie Sparkling water, saltine crackers, gift bags, birthday/holiday cards, shampoo, random candy cravings... this list keeps going... Expect to pay more than you would from a Walmart run or Costco trip, but I guess well just chalk it up to a convenience fee. When you don't feel like driving all the way to Walmart or Costco, dealing with the parking and people I thank the HEAVENS that Walgreen's is right next door for all my unforeseen needs!
