I would like to give the Walgreens and their people a higher rating. I really miss CVS, they never texted me and gave me false info. Walgreens texts me saying my RX is ready. No it ain't ! Told me it should be in tomorrow. Then when they text me next, I'd just driven through their drive-up telling them I got a text and my RX is ready. So 15 min ago, right after I'd just been there, now the text says they have it !!! No they Don't !!! Or do they ? So I dropped back bye because by now I'm ready to discuss this with somebody. I'm writing this from my wife's account but I went in today to ship a box with the fed ex department. I had the experience of working with Morgan and let me tell you what an experience it was. I simply asked if she had some tape so that I could tape my package to make it more secure and Morgan snapped back with an attitude I don't think ever experienced before. She was mocking me as if asking for tape was some unreasonable request. After a few exchanges I told her she was being childish to which she threw herself down on the floor and started flailing her arms as if she was a child throwing a temper tantrum. I still am at a loss as to what the hell happened in that store today. Apparently she was the shift lead, but she is in no position to be in charge of anyone. She is incredibly unstable. Management, if you are reading these reviews please go review the video footage because she is a liability for your store. I want to add that there was a really kind girl working in the makeup department that was so helpful. Management should make her the shift lead not Morgan. read more

It's funny because I had written a couple reviews about how bad this location is and I went in yesterday for my flu shot and Covid shot, and I stopped by the photo department to ask questions about heirloom photography. Morgan was there. She had been reviewed previously on this website and somebody had made her famous already. She was the exact same way with me. I never want to deal with that woman again. I have been watching this place steadily go downhill for the last five years that I have lived near it. When I go in for monthly and quarterly prescription refills, It seems all the staff has turned over in the pharmacy. They are frequently closed and have long lines with angry customers. Put up all the signs you want about staff shortages and being nice. I know you can do better, pay better, staff better. These problems reek of upper management, corporate decisions, not necessarily the staff in the store. I really feel bad for the people working in the pharmacy. read more

I spent 2 hours in the line on Saturday juet for them to tell me my prescription wouldn't be ready until Monday after they had sent me a text saying it was ready, I then spent an hour in line on Monday and they said it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday, after I get this prescription I'm switching pharmacies. read more

Today was my second encounter with Morgan, a clerk at my neighborhood Walgreens on 9400 in E Sandy UT. The first was several months ago. That day I pleasantly said, "Thank you, I appreciate your help." She snapped back with a nasty attitude, "It's my job. I don't need to be thanked." It completely shocked me that a simple comment made her respond in such a negative way and tone. It was completely unnecessary to make a customer feel badly about coming to Walgreens. Today I was picking up photos and a woman with a full cart of items was ahead of me. Morgan unnecessarily snapped at her. As she was unloading that woman's cart, I asked if I could just get my photos and bring them to the front register. She nastily snapped at me to wait until she was done. I certainly didn't expect her to stop what she was doing and hand me my photos at that very moment. My simple request clearly did not warrant such a rude response. The other woman looked at me with widened eyes, indicating that she didn't appreciate Morgan's rudeness either. Morgan handed me my photos and, as I walked away, chose to disrespect me once again by rudely calling out loudly, "I was busy." When a customer comes into an establishment, they should be treated with respect and kindness. Morgan has an abrasive way of interacting with customers and intentionally offends them. Perhaps she should work in the stock room away from customers that may choose not to return to this store due to her caustic personality. read more

Cannot believe how rude they were! I was sent here by a different Walgreens because the first one didn't have my Rx in stock, it was close to closing so I tried calling on my way over- spent the entire drive on hold (I don't think any Walgreens pharmacy answers their phone) I arrived 5 mins before closing and there were several people in line. When it was dialog my turn it was one minute after closing time so suddenly they were unable to lookup my rx I tried asking them to just see if they had it In Stock and I would come back in the morning-they refused. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. This is possibly the worst Walgreens Pharmacy on the planet and it's everyone, from the pharmacist to the techs. They are always miserable, rude, unhelpful and even hostile. They don't want or need anyone's business evidently so I'll happily take mine elsewhere. They don't want to help, answer questions or evidently work at all. I have tolerated their poor behavior for years because it's convenient and close to my house. I interacted with two pharmacy staff regarding a flu shot. One was basically non-responsive and just walked away. Apparently she went to get a colleague who belittled me when I inquired about their coordination of flu shots with the Utah Health Department regarding pricing. I ended up leaving and cried once I got to my car. There is no reason to treat people this poorly. read more

Look, I get it...it's a Walgreens, so of course it's going to be terrible. What I don't understand, however, is why this particular Walgreens seems to have the deliberate desire to set itself apart from the normal spectrum of awfulness that permeates through the Walgreens brand. Every single aspect of this particular store would seem to be operating under the mantra of "let the customer know how angry you are that you are working at this Walgreens". Now, clearly I must take some blame because despite a consistent negative experience each and every time I go, I continue to find myself with the walls of this apocalyptic hellscape. The employees are terrible. Like beyond the normal grudge-filled attitude that a grown adult would have whilst working in retail. Just angry. LIke a Walmart employee on their worst day. The store always looks like someone purposely is trying to make it seem like a tornado ripped through there and the product selection is beyond abysmal. If you must find yourself at a Walgreens, i would recommend literally any other location than this one. What is painfully obvious is that this store is intentionally understaffed and they pay whatever poor soul agrees to work there a sub-living wage. Which, when you consider the CEO of Walgreens made $17 million dollars last year, it becomes clear that Walgreens is just another corporate sweat shop and this particular location is ground zero for the after effects of that apathy. avoid this location at all costs! read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Waited in line 10 minutes or so, only to have the pharmacist close the window in my face. Sorry lunch time. Nobody behind me and I was in line prior to lunch break. Tried to tell them it wasn't regular refill, but that I needed anti-nausea meds (actively throwing up) and pain meds for my child who just had oral surgery. Didn't care. Come back later. Went to get my photo for my passport. The guy was so rude and told me he couldn't take it because he was doing graduation announcements. Also because I had an off white shirt on. I checked the passport website and it said nothing about what color I had to wear. Only dark colors were better. Came back the next day and he wouldn't take it again because I had on a sleeveless black shirt. Wow. Didn't know you could be denied a passport photo. read more

I have been going to this Walgreens for years. When I first started they were horrible but eventually they changed out a lot of staff and now they are amazing! Dave is the Pharmacist and is so kind and outgoing I really appreciate the way he cares for our family and his staff is great as well. They go out of their way to help keep wait times to a minimum. The service and friendliness at this location has dropped drastically this last year. Only few months ago Walgreens at the corner of 9400S and Highland Dr was like a family, nice people welcoming us into the store and knowing us since we would be there several times a week. It has become lately a very cold place. Just few minutes ago I was calling to schedule an appointment for my 15 year old to take the covid vaccine, and the lady who was supposed to schedule the appointment, transferred me to the general line to start over all the step to schedule the vaccine. I picked up a medication that had to be injected and they gave me four needles to inject the medication but only one needle to extract it out of the bottle. I know from experience you are not supposed to reuse needles. So I went back to the pharmacy and waited in a 25 minute line only to hear them tell me I needed to go to a different line at the next window and then I would have to buy the other three needles. They should've just have given them to me with the prescription. I truly wouldn't been bothered so bad if the pharmacist would not have been so snippy. read more

Do not under any circumstances do an online pickup order at this location. The staff will not complete the order in a timely manner, and the customer service when things go wrong with an online order is entirely unhelpful. Store Policy prevents the staff from providing effective customer service or completing an order whenever anything goes wrong with the system, which is not the staff's fault, but regardless makes ordering from this store a terrible user experience. If you need to order online or are in a rush, take your business somewhere that is actually capable of completing online orders, and won't waste hours and hours of your time for meaningless bureaucratic reasons. read more

I don't go here often but when I do, I'm happy. I don't think they offer the best prices, largest selection or anything like that. I do think their seasonal stuff is fun. I think their drug store/non-food item selection is better than most. I've only filled a couple of prescriptions here and didn't have any complaints. Their Draper location has a 24-hour pharmacy which I've used on numerous occasions. I like that they've been paying a dividend on their stock for decades. They've actually increased the annual dividend they pay to shareholders for decades. They must be doing something right! read more

The staff here is all pretty friendly. I haven't had an issue with the pharmacy either, which would is a rarity! Walgreens stores are always expensive and overpriced on just about everything they sell. They do have a pretty generous return policy for the private label branded merchandise. There's only one lane for the drive thru pharmacy, the 2nd lane has been coned off for years now. This location is pretty clean and well organized. I dislike how this Walgreens, along with most of them doesn't have a 24 hour pharmacy, otherwise it would be great and get 5 stars. read more

I'm disabled and rely on stores to be easily accessible not just at their front doors but at their parking lot entries/exits and drive thrus. This may well be a very good store with great staff, but its parking lot is a disaster. Who's responsible for designing this mess? What on earth is going on here? I ended up moving my scripts to this store just this week from another Walgreens because of uncomfortable vehicle access as well as ongoing customer service problems at the old one, and I regret it already. This is the third Walgreens location I've tried since moving to Sandy a year ago. Man, this is terrible. This is quite possibly the worst Walgreens that I have ever dealt with. No one know anything if a question is asked and they are the slowest personel that ever walked. I am not an impatient person but there is always long lines and disgruntled customers in this store due to the incapapble staff. But the Holy Grail of this store is the pharmacy department, if anyone knows what they are doing in there, it doesn't show. Even when a perscription is called in ahead of time and it is waiting for pick up there is still at least 30 minute wait...My husband waited for nearly 45 minutes the last ime we picked up from them.
