The pharmacist from this Walgreens tells me the manufacturer for the medication I need tells them they are out of the medication and they don't know when it will be restocked. Well, I researched online and there's no problems or wait for the medication. I then called smiths pharmacy who said they have it in stock and there's are no problems. Walgreens is always weird about the availability and has zero sense of urgency to supply the needs of their customers. It's really odd to be lied to by a pharmacist. Between this and the bad communication and their meds never being ready on time or available when I need them and the absolute lack of urgency, I'm leaving Walgreens. I'm officially done with Walmart. Most of their checkout stations are self serve, so they want you to check yourself out. Yet today when I went to do that there wasn't enough room in the bagging area so when I shuffled my bags around to make room an attendant was called and I watched her replay a video of me bagging my goods. She started checking to make sure I didn't steal anything. Now, why in the hell is Walmart treating their customers like thieves? If you don't trust your customers then don't have stupid self serve check outs! Needless to say I left without completing my order. I never felt so insulted. read more

The pharmacy strikes again. Another week they neglected to submit for a refill from the doctor's office and when I called the lady I spoke with basically said it was my fault for not requesting the refill 3 months ago. She was rude and condescending and very apathetic towards me and my request. This is the second review I've given on this location, and my next set of medicines will be going to CVS. They never have what I need in stock. for common prescriptions. he only places orders for the minimum and only once a week. The turnover rate in their pharmacy says it all! This may be the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Seemed like it was run by the local High School. Showed up to get a Flu and COVID shot. Took them 3 people and 15 minutes to check me in. The boy helping me asked another one of the boy gang(everyone was in hoodies and genes) for help, and twice the helper asked his friend,'This guy here?' (I was standing in front of him) took me 40 minutes....to get a flu shot. And it wasn't crowded. And there were a bunch of people working! If just seemed like there were a bunch of pharmacists, with no one in charge and no one that knew what was going on. Last time I ever use Walgreens. Only place I could schedule a vaccine and the only reasons I came here. Very bad experience. read more

Everyone has been helpful here that i have gone to for my scripts. I usually do the drive they. They close for lunch from 1:30-2pm so that's good to know to avoid going at that time. Prolonged Poor Staffing I don't understand how this business and particularly this location can be so understaffed since COVID. From a customer standpoint, this has had a horrible impact on customers being able to take medications consistently. From a business standpoint, this has to be like burning money from losing customers and brand value. At least do this. Provide full hours of operation coverage including a back up during lunches. There have been too many times (including today) that I go to your business trying to purchase hundreds of (if not thousands) dollars of your product but guess what... you're closed. Excuse being - short staffing.... RAISE YOUR WAGES SO YOU ARENT TURNING AWAY CUSTOMERS. Heck if you want to just pilot it, see if your current employees would like to take overtime hours.... I wonder if you'll see an increase in sales just based on being open.... I wonder if you'll see customers leaving at a slower pace or after several months of reliable service (after years of lacking it) people returning back here. read more

This is a terrible pharmacy. You can't make people wait an hour for 12 pills which are still left in the package and just shoved into the bottle. The dr called the prescription in 45 minutes prior. Totally ridiculous, especially when you're pregnant and have 2 kids screaming in the back seat while your husbands inside. It doesn't take an hour to shove unpackaged pills into a bottle. read more

During this horrific covid-19 I have been trying to put together a wedding for my daughter. It's nothing like she has ever dreamed or hoped for. But we are doing the best we can during these times. And it's not easy! Well! today I have to say that Pamela went above and beyond her call of duty to help this semi stressed mom get all my announcements printed and some beautiful pictures for the wedding day. We are trying to get all this together by April 25th So so wild. Anyways. Pamela deserves a raise. She helped me (during this time when people are in high stress and anxiety) talked to me over the phone told me about her daughter being a senior and how sad she was that she missed this final few months left. She told me that she would help me get this order done tonight so I would have one last thing to worry about. Man oh man! Pamela at the Walgreens at the corner of 9400 south and 700east in Sandy is amazing! She got that done literally less than an hour from when I sent it over. There were 140 double sided wedding announcements and then 7 8x10 picture. She did it all at 7:18 and called me to say there were done at 8:11PM and I drove over and picked it all up and it was beautiful!!! She rushed it for me when I'm sure she should have been doing something else. They store closes at 9, we got there by about 8:30pm. Just in the Knick of time thanks so Pamela! Pamela is simply amazing! what a wonderful employee you have there Walgreens! This mom has been so stressed trying to get all this done while literally everything is closed because of the covid-19 quarantine! She was amazing. I hope her boss reads this and send her a huge gift card! Or better yet a raise! she deserves it! I brought her some of my homemade jam just to say thanks for doing that for me so quickly (the online was saying it wouldn't be done Until late Saturday!!!!)I hope she loves it jam! She deserves so much more just for her wonderful help in such a stressful time for everyone. We've used this pharmacy since 2011 with no issue till approximately 1.5 -2 years ago, when they had a change of pharmacists & Techs, including someone we know who left due to this change. We didn't have one complaint in over 10 years, since this turnover in staff they've caused multiple problems and have a bad attitude at the same time. We then learned a pharmacists was discussing personal info regarding my son's medical, which he has no knowledge of facts involved, in his comments he used terminology that doesn't apply to my son's diagnosis, he was gossiping. When the incident in Dec occurrd the pharmacist was present, took no accountability, infact said it's not his responsibility to oversee what techs are doing, tech standing just feet from the pharmacist & included the pharmacist into the issue, pharmacist took zero interest in the issue that needed addressing, the Tech didn't know how to rectify any one in earshot knew this, I was super patient, kept saying I'll go look atound, hours passed, store closing soon & pharmacist did zero. Not factual the pharmacist saying he wasn't responsible for pharmacy issue's under his watch. He oversees the pharmacy & staff, was confirmed by Walgreen's corporate. We've contacted IHC regarding this situation, as well as provider's. The newer pharmacist lack of professionalism has seriously degraded the experience, great customer service & reputation of this pharmacy. Also the store manager witnessesing the occurrence, gave me a store credit to use due to the situation I was put through, a nice gesture but couldn't make up for what is an going problem at this pharmacy. I didn't pursue action other than confirming if the pharmacist is responsible for the pharmacy while on duty. Writing this after another incident happened yesterday, leaving no recourse but to take our acct to another pharmacy and pursue this through Walgreens corporate. This is about ppls health and their actions causing detriment. read more

I'm 75 yo and scheduled a flu shot online. When I arrived the technician took her sweet time waiting on customers. She said she couldn't find my appt. and told me to make another appt. I sat down and did right there, but the next available one was for 45 minutes later. When I asked if I could be accommodated, she was so cold, lacking any empathy, and told me she wouldn't, even though it was quite obvious there was no one there ahead of me. I cancelled my time and went to another pharmacy in a grocery store that immediately accommodated me, and treated me warmly. read more

Every time I come here for a vaccination, I regret it. They gave my 9-year-old an adult dose of the COVID vaccine. Then I was dumb and gave them another chance and waited for over an hour for my daughter to get a vaccine, which we had an appointment for. They are so slow and their vaccine appointments don't seem to do much good because they always take forever. I guess I know why this location always seems to have appointments when the location closer to me is a week out. read more

While they list their hours as 9am to 9pm that isn't true. They called to let me know my prescription was ready so I drove straight over and arrived at 1:20. There was only 1 car in front of me but it took them 15 minutes to fill their order. I immediately pulled up and was greated with a closed window and a sign that said they were out to lunch. I understand that they need a lunch but to have the entire staff take it at the same time seems like a poor way to do business. I was the only other car in line but they chose to ignore me and all take lunch. That's pretty lousy service. read more

I like Walgreens in general. I travel a lot and it's nice to be able to pick up prescriptions at the local Walgreens. They're all connected by a network and it's like I'm at my home store. This walgreens is my home store. The people here are nice and try hard to meet your expectations. Only missed a couple of times over the years. The store is clean, well organized. The shelves are always well stocked (good inventory control) and seem to know what you'd want. This has often saved me a trip to the grocery store or even for office supplies. The pharmacist and his staff are well informed and appreciate when you ask a question so they can expound a bit. Very helpful. I like this place. read more

I like walgreens and have always filled my prescriptions at a walgreens until using this location. Every time I would get a refil, they were out of the stoppers and syringes.
