The pharmacy here is so incredibly slow. Plan on waiting at least 20 minutes without anyone in front of you.

I wish I had time to browse more, but today we were on a time crunch. We always see this place on our morning coffee runs to hidden peaks and always say we want to stop in and check it out. Today we finally remembered to lol. It's a very clean and cute shop. Much bigger than I anticipated. They organize everything well, so as not to feel cluttered. There were some items I was surprised to see, like Nike hoodie's, the hair extensions, and accessories. Seemed a bit odd, but who am I to critique another's side hustle!?... I bought 2 home oils (1 oz each) to try. Yuzu and gardenia. Not to be used on skin. It's a blended oil that helps it burn better when used on a warmer. My sister got two scents of oil roller fragrances. (Forgot to take a pic of those). It was about $21 and some change for all 4. I haven't tried the oils yet, thus the 3 stars, but I have a feeling I will be updating my review and can see myself coming back to try more items since I am always next door for my coffee or chai tea fix.

The space inside is open, brightly lit, and very clean. The two associates working were both very friendly greeting me as soon as I walked in. They were keeping busy while it was slow by cleaning the shelves of the shop. Mary & Mary stocks different fragrant oils and diffusers. The carry some very pretty flower diffusers that light up--some by being plugged directly into the wall and some plugged into the wall via a cord. These are for the scented oils that are not water soluble--not the oils you would mix with water in a water based diffuser. They do carry some essential oils that are water soluble, but I recommend talking to an associate to be sure you're getting the right oil for your diffuser. This shop also carries various soaps and lotions. I liked that they carried some products that were Rainforest Alliance Certified (products from farms that have met certain comprehensive environmental, social, and economic criteria). From what I could tell all these products were made with mostly natural ingredients. Besides oils, soaps, and lotions, the shop also carries some other items like sunglasses, purses and bags (I saw the most amazing purses with the Obamas on them), and jewelry. I decided to pick up a bar of Patchouli oil soap while I was there. I'm a sucker for patchouli products, and this one was made with essential oils, 98% naturally derived ingredients, and didn't have any artificial fragrance / color. The soap is also cruelty free and packaged in recycled packaging. It's currently sitting on my desk so that I can occasionally pick it up and smell it as I write this review, but I look forward to trying it out. Overall this shop has some fun items that will likely be most loved by women (I foresee 87% of women liking this shop), democrats (see: Obama hand bags), and environmentalists (basically everything here is environmentally friendly)--if someone in your life is all three, then this is a must stop shop--but I think this is also just one of those nice little gift type shops that you can go in and browse because there are some different items here that I don't think you'll find at very many other places.

As long as I don't tighten the skin on there you cannot see it so I am going to just live with it. On my 3-d neck lift he put a chin implant as part of the procedure even though I didn't think I needed it. I finally agreed thinking he is the surgeon and knows best. He promised me it would be small and not very noticeable. Well big mistake he put in a squared chin implant that was huge and made me look so masculine!! I hated it and my husband hated it even more, so after 6 months (they insisted I wait for the swelling to go down) I finally went back in and had it removed. Now I have an even bigger scar under my chin that I hate. My neck also never looked great after the neck procedure, he didn't even do a good job with the lipo. He only tightens the middle of neck so I have hanging skin on both sides. I feel deformed!! All in all I paid a lot of money to look worst. Please run away and don't go to him. I wouldn't even trust him with a revision if my life depended on it.

My sister and I stopped by this location recently, and she could not stop raving about their jelly bombs. One of the employees overheard our conversation, and offered to do a demonstration. I demurred, stating there was no need to waste one, but she kindly insisted. Not only that, but when I've sampled products and experienced other demonstrations in the past, it is always because the associates are so genuinely passionate - not pushy, simply wishing to share something they truly adore. As a company, they support causes near to my heart (animal welfare, the environment, human rights), and I love that they offer their Charity Pot lotion at all times, benefitting an ever-changing group or foundation. They have a recycling program for their products that come in black plastic, and after you return a certain amount, you receive a complimentary item. As far as what you can specifically find here, they sell natural (but effective) bath and body products, starting years ago at the forefront of the trend with their amazing bath bombs, but now offering a ridiculous variety: shampoo, conditioner, hemp hair color, perfume (including solid-yas!), gorgeous soaps, deodorant, face washes, masks, lip scrubs and balms (the orange chocolate is straight heaven), even perfect-for-travel toothpaste tabs! Prices are reasonable given the product quality and care put into sourcing superior all-natural ingredients, but of course with that in mind expect to pay more than you would for their more conventional counterparts. This location is a particularly nice one as some of their stores can feel cramped, and while still on the small side, the space is more open. This is a great spot to find a gift, but really, just treat yourself to a couple goodies. You deserve it.

As I entered the shop on a Friday afternoon, two girls bearing the same wavy blond bob, glasses, and even exhibiting similar mannerisms greeted me! I asked if they were twins, and we all had a good giggle as they explained no, they just sort of merged into the same person after spending so much time working together. Isn't it funny how that sometimes happens? They were both friendly and helpful, explaining how to dispense the bulk products, and happily answering questions. A small thing that is such a helpful idea, is that they accept donated reusable containers, so if you forget your own, or, like me, happen upon the shop without having previously planned on stopping by, you are free to use any of these bottles! The bulk goods consist of body, beauty, and home products. Featured brands are recognizably good ones: EO, Biokleen, Mountain Rose Herbs, and Meow Meow Tweet (you can even grab a bit of their well-reviewed natural deodorant!). In addition to the bulk offerings, they sell regular size natural makeup and beauty products, lots again from Meow Meow Tweet, Fat and the Moon, and others. They even have reusable period pads and cups. SLC, you're getting so progressive! In addition, there were creative planters and ceramic containers, gorgeously fragranced candles, a variety of incense, clever greeting cards, notebooks and other stationary, pretty reusable totes and bags, and jewelry. Most (maybe all?) are hand crafted, some locally. There was even a small rack of vintage clothing! Prices are reasonable; though do not expect overly cheap bulk prices. As the products on offer are high quality, you will pay accordingly, and it's worth it!

I also heard that they do offer food composting for 60 cents a gallon out back which was a godsend since my new 'hood doesn't do composting (and it's too early in the season to use for planting). The shop is super cute, clean and organized. Parking is very easy out front (no payment required). The vibrant woman working there was ultra helpful and friendly (she even remembered to text me when one of the products I asked about came in). She showed us around and let us know how things worked. I ended buying a lot more than I planned (including their kombucha! cinnamon apple -- yum!), and I am happy with all of their products so far. The rose deodorant is amazing. I have yet to try the epsom salts, but am excited to. The shop overall is a little bit expensive, but I'd much rather pay more to live responsibly. Composting price is a steal though -- definitely my go-to now.
