I had a prescription called in and I called Walgreens Holladay store. To make sure they had it and they told me yes and confirmed the prescription and took my insurance info. I went in a couple hours later to pick up the prescription and they told me they lost my entire profile. They lost the prescription and all my info!!!! They were extremely rude like it was my fault. Never called me to let me know any status at all. They did not even care! Horrible customer service. I got the prescriptions transferred to Harmons in Holladay they got them done for me in record time. I will only use Harmons in Holladay pharmacy!!! read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've used. For the last prescription they filled for me, I was told it would be ready the following day. When I followed up the next day, I found they had dropped the ball, which wasn't that surprising based on prior poor performance. However, they outdid themselves with this one as it required me checking back several times (with 2 different technicians and 2 pharmacists) over a period of a week to FINALLY get it filled. This Walgreens location used to be a great spot in town to get your meds and other pharmacy related items. However, in the past few years, the location has gone downhill and whoever manages this store does not seem to care. Shelves are empty and there seems to be a skeleton crew running the place. I have stopped picking up most of my prescriptions from here because of this situation. This past weekend, I broke my leg and had the ER call my meds in to this location since it is the closest to my house. When looking up the hours so I could have a neighbor pick up my prescription, I noticed that the pharmacy is not even open on Sunday! I had to call the ER department back and have the prescriptions sent to another pharmacy that was open. Today, after surgery, my surgeon sent several prescriptions here. The prescriptions were called in several hours prior to being picked up, and the whole order was not ready after being called in many hours in advance. The pharmacist and technician who were on duty were very short and dismissive with my parents who had to pick up my prescriptions. Unfortunately, after this experience and after my recovery, I will continue to pick up prescriptions elsewhere. The cashiers at the front of the store are always friendly and helpful, but the pharmacy department really needs a complete overhaul so they can serve customers in a more efficient and friendly manner. The continual complaints from those who work in the pharmacy that they are short staffed (which they have been stating) is not an acceptable excuse for such poor service for a pharmacy. read more

Unfortunately, this pharmacy is closest to me. This place closes early all the time. The pharmacy hardly ever has your stuff in stock and almost always requires you to come back for something they forgot to fill. Everyone is nice in the store, so they get one star extra for that. Also, I do not understand why the lube is placed in the row where everyone waits in line for their pharmacy pickup. Way to make that super awkward and it probably hurts their sales anyway. Who wants to shop for that with a bunch of old ladies watching you? read more

I'd give this pharmacy a big fat zero solely based the pharmacist. Unbelievably RUDE! Not once, not twice many many times! And I swear to my self I'll go to Harmons or Meiers but once in a great while my doc will send a med to this Walgreens location and EVERY time they screw it up royally. Total incompetence. And rude on top of messing up the prescription. Management should step in but they act powerless. Maybe they are. Don't use this pharmacy if you want your meds on time. read more

Unfortunately this is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. I had to come 4 times in one day to fill a prescription because it was never ready when they said. When I came back she said it was too late even though they didn't close for an hour. The worst and rudest pharmacists ever. They literally lied to me over and over again. Do not use this location. If you have a prescription to fill or need something from the pharmacy it is far better going to the Walgreens on 4500 S 900 E or 3300 S 700 E. Both of these locations blow Holladay out of the water. Holladay employees are almost always rude and I sometimes wonder if they're even competent. I consistently wonder if they even realize they're in health care and playing a part in helping patients. I've been coming back here for a year and tonight decided no more. read more

I tried to get a vaccine at the holladay Walgreens today. When I arrive at 1:30 on Saturday they were closing by putting the blinds down. There were no signs explaining it was a lunch break. I came back later and waited in line asking to get the vaccine I needed. They said I had to make an appointment and they don't like to do it on the weekend. There was nobody waiting behind me. I told them i came for my first shingles shot and just walked in without an appointment time. Since they wouldn't help me I left and went to another pharmacy very frustrated. Drove over here at 8am bc their hours say they open at 8am during the week. They were open but pharmacy not. Tell people your pharmacy hours also please so they don't waste precious time making the drive over for nothing. All the other Walgreens pharmacies do. Also, this is one of the stores that you can get labels printed by presenting a bar code when returning items that were ordered online. They were not prepared for this scenario. He couldn't print my label. Told me to go down the street to the FedEx which was closed at 8am. This store sucks, it sucks something terrible. read more

I dropped my disposable camera off early May to get the pictures developed. I called a few days later to see if it was ready but apparently they send them all out so it takes about a week to get the pictures developed. Walgreens said they would call me when my pictures were ready to be picked up. They called me on June 17th and left a voicemail saying that they have been sitting there since May 1st (which they couldn't have been because I didn't drop the camera off until about May 4th) I have since moved to Sandy and I am directly on the COVID team at Intermountain so getting to Walgreens right away was kind of hard. I stopped by today (only 11 days after Walgreens called me) and they said they threw out my photos. Now I have no way of ever recovering those memories. I am so angry and disappointed in the service of this Walgreens Photo department. read more

It's interesting how people like to pretend they're better than you because you need something they have and they can control whether you get it or not. Tried to ask the pharmacist a question unrelated to medication and although I could hear her talking to patients in a bellicose voice she claimed she couldn't hear what I was asking and insisted I stand in line for 20 mins. I went in for a prescription and they wanted to charge me $178 for 30 sildenafil pills. They said they would text me back in 4 days after they contacted my health insurance to help bring the cost down. They never did that and they cleared my record from even picking up my prescription order. What's up with that? Common courtesy is to contact the customer and let them know the statice of your order. Not clear all records of them and discard them. What a joke that Walgreens on 45th South and 9th East is. Walgreens jacks your prescription prices way up from what I found out through other pharmacies. Do not go to Walgreens if you want to save a lot of money. read more
