Words cannot express how much I love this salon. This family owned business is a real treasure. Since living in Brick I've tried several salons but this one is by far the best. The husband and wife are so friendly and welcoming. And the quality of the work they do is amazing. Not to mention the time they send with their clients. I would give 10 's if I could. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. read more

This place is pretty shady. They tried to fit me in when they were busy which I appreciated but my nails came out crooked unevenly polished and streaky. After I paid the owner and gave him cash to give to his employee for a tip I watched him pocket half of it and put the rest on his employees station. When I asked him about it he played dumb said he gave him the whole tip when I clearly saw him put half in his pocket. read more

I called and asked if they accepted walk-ins. The owner said she could not guarantee she could accommodate a walk-in and suggested I make an appointment. I did. When I got there, the place was empty. First red flag. It was, by far, the worst simple manicure I have ever had - polish glopped on so thick, it would never dry. I wanted to spend more time under the dryer, but the owner told me, "You're done," even though the place was empty!!! I went to Insta Nail in Point Pleasant and paid to have the manicure redone. read more

I've been going there about 15 years. I moved 25 minutes away and still take the trip back. Tammy is a perfectionist. The salon is always clean, all of the techs doing pedicures are great as well. Highly recommend!! read more

Had several excellent manicures from Tammy, she was fantastic! Unfortunately my most recent experience was with another (newer?) older technician and left a lot to be desired- my mani/pedi was quick, rough, felt like steps were skipped to be speedy, and my cuticles were cut/bled. Worst part though was that my gels nails lasted about 24 hours before they started to peel and chip; such a waste. Definitely won't be returning unless I can get Tammy specifically. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. My nail tech was rough and left my fingers pink after the airbrush ombre, also did not clean my cuticles at all, no cuticle oil or even lotion. My mom also got her nails done and the tech used the drill buffer to take away her cuticles cutting her skin. Her nails are uneven and none of then are shapped the same. Don't waste your time. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for years and years. Love Tammy, she's literally the best at all of the things she does. I'm positive I've never met anyone in the nail/spa department that seemingly does everything to perfection and ease, as natural as Tammy. 10 stars and highly recommended! You can't ever go wrong. read more

OMGGG love love loveee this place!! They did such a great job on my nails! Came at my appointed time. Not to long of a wait at all. He was very patient with me because I didn't know what I wanted. Gave me a special if I went with gel and I wanted to do a trendy nail design. So he let me pick 5 different colors to use on each nail!! $65 !!! Amazing! Figured I would let everyone know how much I love this place!! Thanks mega!! See you in 2 days for a pedi!! read more

Mega Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Brick, New Jersey

Good work and affordable price! I was indecisive of which nail color to get and the nail tech let me sample both colors which super sweet!

My boyfriend and I come here for pedicures at least twice a month. Owner is so friendly and staff always makes us feel like we are at home. Great pedicures every time and so relaxing. read more

Loved Tammy. I was very pleased and was extremely satisfied. Will be going back for sure.

Nice place! They took me as walk in and did a very nice pedicure for $22. Things looked lean and they use lots of sterilizers. Would definitely go back. Note: they take CC but not for the tip portion. read more

Love this place! Tammy and her husband Henry know customers by name because they have such repeat business due to great customer service. They do the best they can to accommodate customers but during busy season making appointments are best. My gel overlay with gel manicure is always beautiful! I have found the best location to get my mani-pedi! read more

Worst pedicure ive ever had. Sat in scalding hot water for 30 mins before someone was available to do my pedicure. Then they thre a hot towel on me, filed my nails, and painted them. No sugar scub, no lotion, no massage at all. Whats the point??? do not recommend! read more

I would give a half of a star if I could. The person didnt know styles, was clueless and no style. I will never go there again. My nail broke the 2and day. read more

Wish I could give this salon a negative rating. My friend ended up painting her own nails because the woman didn't paint to the sides, so she had to take the polish and paint it herself. Owner was very rude. Can't recommend this any LESS. Have to go home and take the polish off my skin with a q tip. Terrible experience. read more

I'd leave 0 stars if possible ** After waiting an hour in the chair for someone to do my nails, the nail tech guy comes over to take off my gels (in the middle of another persons pedicure- gross in itself) and then CUTS me while doing my cuticles and proceeds to keep going while using a tool that had blood on it. The entire salon is nasty and the service is terrible. Needless to say I walked out.. read more

This is the only nail salon I go to religiously when I'm home in Brick. Jennifer and Henry do awesome pedicures. They always have a nice range of Essie and OPI polishes and their chairs and equipment are well taken care of. It's a clean, modern salon that makes sure they have all of the latest nail trends, equipment and that you leave there looking great! read more

I wish I could give less than one star. I think my 1 1/2 year old nephew could have done a better job. Whoever gave this woman a license should rethink their decision. I am so upset I paid $42 to have my nails literally shit on. I will never return here again. read more

I was visiting family so totally looked for the nail salon with the best Yelp reviews. I was very disappointed this time. The pedicure wasn't as good as I'm used to as the technician did not use the pumice stone for more than 10 seconds which doesn't do much to the bottom of the foot. I paid the extra money for the gel nail polish for my manicure and by the end of the day it was already starting to chip, something I've NEVER experienced with gel. Whatever he did finishing my nails totally dulled the color and the polish itself wasn't done evenly. One of my friends assumed I had painted my nails myself and was shocked to hear that it was professional AND gel as it did not look like it at all. Definitely not going back next time I'm in Toms River. read more

Over priced for the mani pedi duo. Nothing special and no back massage while your nails dry!!!

I called this morning for a full set on the recommendation of my friend, Jenny. I was told to ask for Tammy but Jenny had never had an issue with anyone else either. I am a licensed nail tech myself so, I am super picky about how my nails are done and Jenny's nails always looked great. When calling this morning, understandably, Tammy was already booked. I told them I would be ok with anyone. Vicki did my nails. She did an EXCELLENT job. I have FINALLY found someone to do my nails on a regular basis. She listened and actually gave me what I wanted! Thank you Vicki!! Everyone there was super friendly and accommodating- thanks Mega Nails! I'll be back for sure! read more

I've been coming here with my mom since high school. The staff is so welcoming and they always do a phenomenal job on my mani and pedi services. read more

I always get courteous and professional service. I leave satisfied and feeling good about my appearance.

My daughter and I stopped in on Tuesday afternoon for manis and pedis. We were greeted and seated right away. The technician stopped several times during my daughter's pedicure to work on other customers. The tech did not massage or scrub her legs or feet. During her manicure he did not ask her if she wanted her nails cut but proceeded to do so without her permission. I was charged full price for her service but several steps were skipped. We will not be returning to Mega Nails. read more

Tired of nail salons in Toms River couldn't find anyone who was consistent. Decided to give Mega Nails a try based on a recommendation from my son's girlfriend, my daughter and I were both a walk-in. I had a gel fill with Vicky and my daughter had her gels removed followed by a gel manicure with Tammy. We were both very happy with the results and will definitely be back...best decision we made that day read more

The place is dirty. Literally watched as they took the dirty towel that you put your hands on and shook it with all the nail clippings from previous customers onto the floor. 45 min wait and not told when you enter that there would be a wait. Just directed to a chair. 3 girls working on one persons nails. Something I've never seen in a nail salon. Very , short staffed. Manager bossy and just nasty. Also slim pickings for nail polish color. No name brands either. No Etsy to be found at all. I would give it a 0 rating if I could. Do not go here! read more

Pedicure was ok.Just ok.my feet where left still rough but the polish looked ok.Could have done better myself unfortunately. The woman that did my nails was yelling at a man in her native tongue on the phone while doing my nails. I also think the employees where making fun of an elderly man that came in to get his nails trimmed. That made me feel sad and uncomfortable. He looked like a decent old man. Back to my manicure /Fill in.I ask her for squared off nails and ask if should make them slightly thicker on the sides. The way I have worn them for many years. She told me she would not do that because she didnt thnk that looked good.I think she couldn't be bothered.I asked her to please not make my nails round. She ignored my request at every nail. My once natural looking nails now look like I chewed them down.I asked my husband how they looked and he said Quote "At least they are a nice color". I have a wedding to attend and now I have to go find a new place ...soak of these acrylics and get a whole set of tips.More money wasted and even worse my time and aggravation.Well so much for a relaxing afternoon.I cant believe this woman refused my request over and over. The place was empty for the most part and I see why. The chairs where nice and new but the place could be cleaner. Overall a big no. If anyone knows a great nail place near Toms River please advise. read more

I came in on a Sunday as a walk in and they weren't busy at all so I was taken right away. The nail artist was very friendly and informative. He did a gel manicure. It was French with a glitter accent nail. When I put my nails under the light for the last time to dry the top coat the technician took a phone call grabbed his coat and left. I was left sitting there for a few minutes until another tech came over and sat down. She finished wiping the nails with alcohol and did a quick hand massage. I paid and left (the first technician had not returned by the time I left). The day after all of my nails began chipping. I had specially gotten a gel manicure to avoid the chipping that occurs with a regular polish manicure. Any gel manicure I have ever gotten lasted 2 weeks. I was shocked and extremely disappointed. $28 plus $7 tip down the drain for less than a 24 hour GEL manicure. I don't advice going to the salon unless you want pretty nails just for one night. read more
