First time I ever got my nails done at a salon, but I'm pretty sure a gel manicure is supposed to last more than a week... and I didn't even go to work that entire week either. It was definitely the owner who did my nails, but I'm not sure what her name was because she didn't really interact with me. So I paid $35 including tips for a gel French manicure, and they started chipping in less than a week, there were bubbles under the nail polish, and there were a lot of space between my cuticles and the nail polish... gave them two stars because I enjoyed the massages and paraffin wax treatment for my hands. Had a regular manicure here today which came out ok. Nothing to rave about. Manicurist did not ask which shape I wanted before starting. I do like the paraffin wax that is included in the manicure which was a nice touch. The place looks a little old and outdated. I did not see the manicurist use clean tools. When she finished with me she wiped them with the cotton which she had used to remove nail polish earlier. It scares me to see when they don't actually sterilize the tools bc they are cutting skin and can spread infections. $12 for mani. Going to still continue my search for the perfect jersey shore nail salon. BeOn nails near whole foods has been the closest so far to perfection. read more

WOW this place is excellent! I took my mom here for a Mother's Day treat for pedicures. We each got a spa quality pedicure for $25 (hot towel treatment for the neck, excellent massage chairs, the usual buff and scrub, long massage with hot stones, parafin wax treatment, and polish). My mom also got a manicure and they have a $30 deal for both mani pedi! Each worker spent a lot of time with each of us and we were soooo relaxed. The salon is clean and while our toes dried the girls massaged our back/neck. HIGHLY recommend. I can't express how amazing this place is!! I drive a half hour to this salon to get my pedicures. I'm never disappointed, I have also been getting my eyebrows done here as well. I have slightly crooked eyebrows (just the way they grow in) but every salon I go to, they end up crooked and uneven. I kind of got used to the fact that maybe they can't be waxed to look even due to how they grow in. The 2 times I've been here to wax my eyebrows they've gotten them even and symmetrical!!! I usually love everything about this place. I made an appointment for a gel manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. I came in and I had my pedicure and manicure. I always request the owner Julie to do my eyebrows and after my two services I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes for my eyebrow wax. It was a little disappointing because I had made an appointment and I already spent enough time there and I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes to finish my last service. Sometimes I feel like they take on too many people at once I understand you don't want to turn anyone away, but if I've already been there for an hour with an appointment there's no reason why you couldn't step away to do my eyebrows. I've been to many nail salons attempting to find one like the one I used to go to when I lived at my parents. I've found it here and iris. The service is phenomenal. The place is very clean and neat. That is always a huge deal for me. For their pedicure you get a t heat wrap for your shoulders while they pamper your feet. You not only get a lotion rub on your legs but they also use hot stones on your legs and feet. I've never had that done any where and it is really a nice touch. You end with a paraffin wax for your heels while they polish. As you dry your toes, a shoulder massage. They really take care of you here and I will be back for sure. read more

Been here many times, and with each time it got worse until today. FINISHED..... my pedicure went like this. Feet put in water, drain cap falls off floating around with my feet..ok.. less than a minute feet out old polish removed (not completely) back in water 15 seconds. Feet out, cut toenails ? I want them short, girl does not understand..ok. now she is going to file, slices into my skin. Ouch..ok she doesn't understand that either. So i say im done and thank you please stop..ok she returns with different file..ok I'll give it another chance. So then she takes cuticle nippers and shreds my skin (looks like coconut flakes around my toes, but yet is still attached. Back in water..10 seconds feet out and a horrible worn down pumice to exfoliate my feet. Jesus, no thank you.. feet back in water. Now for the leg rub, ok well i didn't feel it. So now im really done, i get up and the owner charges me...i still have some of my polish on i came with and my skin is all chipped up. Never ever again, and I wonder if the young girls working there are even licensed? We will find out read more

I've been going to Iris' for years but it's now under new management. They still do a good job on the nails but they have cut out some of the services that caused me to go there. They are not doing the hot wax on the hands during the warmer weather. For me, who is older, that was really critical. They are also no longer soaking your hands/cuticles so the job they do on them isn't as good. Most of the manicurists have been replaced and although they are doing a good job, it seems like they are being rushed. The owner also isn't particularly friendly. The previous owner was very friendly and never rushed the manicurists. I will probably continue to go most of the time although I'm no longer a very happy customer. read more

I had the silky milk spa and it's wonderful. Anna did a great long leg massage it was heavenly and worth the extra money, my skin felt silky, soft & moisturized . I also had a regular manicure and Julie's gentle waxing, a delightful spa day for me. The only complaint I have is from other customers who are ignorant and rude, why do you have to be yapping loudly on your cell phone, ridiculous nonsense conversations, during a relaxing pedicure! I only wished the woman would have dropped her cell in the water! I really wish salon owners would ban cell use during pedicure treatments. read more

!!!STAY AWAY!!! I honestly never ever right reviews. However I'm most definitely willing to make an exception Today was my fist time going to this salon and I definitely will NOT be returning. Please save your money for a better nail salon definitely not worth it at all. They are pretty rude and I had to go back and forth with them with what was already on my nails (which was gel). The other salon I go to has an incredible gel nail polish that seems like it's acrylic but I can assure you it's not and when I was trying to explain this they acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and insisted that it was a fill which is rather annoying! Getting my nails done is most definitely not my first rodeo trust me. Finally they realized that I knew what I was talking about only after they spoke in Spanish (to which I'm Puerto Rican) and I had to respond in Spanish so that way they knew I understood what they were saying to each other.
