The staff just doesn't seem to know what to do when not actually serving. They need to engage more, show some energy, and just plain seem friendlier. If the owners can fix that issue, they will have a winning total formula here. Perhaps make one Red Bull per hour mandatory for the staff! Nice thick crispy fried chicken breast, a couple slices of bacon, melted American cheese and a hand battered onion ring on top. I got the BBQ on the side since it was a to-go order. This sandwich did not disappoint. Everything worked. The BBQ sauce had just enough of a bite very good. The only thing I would do different is sub the fries for onion rings. Given she wasn't well versed she didn't add anything as combo meals and charged everything individually. The food took about 30 mins for 2 burgers and a 3 piece tender with fries. So overall the service was very slow. When they brought the food and the tray of condiments over they only had one ketchup on it vs the traditional full tray of options. The burgers were still cold and the buns were stale/hard. I will say the gravy for chicken strips was flavorful and very hot! Overall not the experience we wanted to have. Prices are a little higher than your typical food chain but the portions are larger. The restaurant is large and we found good seating. They also have high chairs available. A week later we had an rv camper pull in next to us and say the same quality issues with the whataburger in Sugarland. They two said that was their last visit.
