DON'T GO HERE. MOST AGGRESSIVE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I brought in a pair of clean white pants to be taken in at the waist and hemmed for length. I tried them on in the store, we agreed on the alterations, and I handed them over in perfect condition. When I picked them up a week later, they were folded in a clear plastic bag exactly how the tailor had given them to me. I didn't remove them until I got home--and that's when I found a massive pink stain across the fabric that 100% wasn't there before. I know this because I tried the pants on in front of a mirror with the tailor, and we both would've noticed something that obvious. I returned to the shop, politely asking for an explanation and hoping she would take responsibility and offer to dry clean them. Instead, she immediately started yelling at me--blaming me for the stain, getting aggressive, and refusing to listen. She then brought over a man (possibly her husband) who joined in, also yelling and pointing fingers in my face. It was completely unprofessional, hostile, and honestly, a little scary. To make things worse, it seemed like the pants were folded in a way that intentionally hid the stain, which makes me feel like this wasn't an honest mistake. Bottom line: they ruined my pants and treated me like garbage when I asked for help. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Great neighborhood alternation store. I usually go to the pure water refill store next to it and notice that this place has alternation services, then I started to send my unfitted new pants here. The owner is a pragmatic person who listen more than talking. Last week I got my new jeans from online merchants, I really like the fabrics but the US size either too wide or too long to me. The owner did excellent job on helping me figure out where needs to be alternate. I basically just bring my jeans and wear them, expressing how I wish it would fit. The owner understood my poor English and fixed three pants perfectly about 4 days. The price of alternating my jeans are $35/per jeans ( fixing waist / width / length ) and $25 for tighten the waist of the other pants. This is the first tailor store I visited in the US but the price is acceptable to me because this service allows me to save time and money from buying fitter pants. read more

We live around the corner from this place and my husband came here to patronize a local business. Devastating mistake. I'm appalled that a dry cleaning service can collect your money and send you home knowing your item was damaged and wasn't even cleaned. Yes, my husband's sweater has the same food stain from a comedy show we attended and now also has a huge hole the size of a quarter. The reason I'm so upset is because Mee was argumentative when I brought the sweater back. She told me that she doesn't want to continue the conversation. My reply, "You must issue a refund or we'll dispute with our bank. Which avenue do you prefer?" She went on to say that holes don't just appear with dry cleaning and not all stains come out. I advised the hole wasnt previously there, and those are exactly the things to tell a customer before they spend their hard earned money. More importantly, it is imperative to inform a customer their item was damaged during the dry cleaning process AND stains were not removed at the time of pick up. Don't just let the customer go home, plan to wear the item to an outing only to discover the stains are still there accompanied by a brand new hole causing the need to buy a new sweater at the last minute or freeze to death. I just faced the worst service ever, I came to pick up my shirts, and one shirt was torn, the lady didn't even apologize or took any responsibility for it, she was cold as ice, just expecting us to take it and leave, no sorry or any regrets. New ownership is ruining this business as customer service and accountability are now completely lacking. To start, I was shocked when the owner snapped at me for being 50¢ short of the $15 credit card minimum. Later that day, I discovered I was given the wrong pants. I called them immediately and returned the wrong pants the next morning. They could never find ours and took 3.5 weeks to refund only 50% of the cost of the pants, which were new and worn by my husband two times. While she was writing us the check, the owner had the audacity to suddenly accuse us of lying, saying she checked the ticket and did not see how it could have happened. My husband was furious at that point and asked her if she thought we were liars and I pointed out how I had returned the wrong pants they had given us. Her rude response was, "If you say so." Avoid this business if you want to be treated with basic decency. The owner never apologized and accused us of lying when it was entirely their fault. read more

I should have read the two star review earlier. Yes they are a friendly store, but, do not expect their skill. They don't have the professional skill which a cleaner store suppose to have. I send my fur blanket there for dry clean, they failed and ruined the blanket. I can't tell how angry when I saw the result. To be fair, the blanket still mostly looks like the same, but the softness and smooth are gone! and this is the Main reason I send the blanket to dry clean instead of self cleaning at home! I brought it back and told them the fur is damaged, so they kept it for inspection. Then, they took the second try, clean it again, and their dry clean machine damaged the fur(again) which made them become shorter from the original condition.... and by the time i picked up, they still insist they didn't do anything wrong... ( yes with friendly attitude, as I said, they are very nice but not professional ) if you are sending normal clothes, maybe they can do a good job on it. But for those expensive/fur stuff? better not. read more

Mee's cleaners is a family-run business with nice people. Their services are reasonably priced and can be quick if you ask a couple of times. Nonetheless, two stars is the most I can give for being a nice family business. I tried this place a few times just for that and the convenient location, but the quality of their services is really subpar. I had two pairs of jeans hemmed here. The hemming is functional and holds up well -- it just looks like a mediocre home-sewn job. The width of the hem is uneven, and the thread is kind of in the same region of the colorwheel but not much of a match. The dry cleaning is worse. I took my coat in and was told I could pick it up the next afternoon, but when I went by, it wasn't ready. They ended up taking another hour and stayed open half an hour late for my garment, so I guess that was nice. When I got the coat back, it reeked of chemicals. Everything it touched, including me and especially my car, reeked for a couple of days. I've also come to expect from other cleaners that they would press the coat and snip the loose threads -- that was actually most of my reason for getting the coat cleaned in the first place -- but they did neither. It's possible they were just in too much of a rush to be thorough, or competent, but I would have preferred to not have the coat 'cleaned' at all. Drive out a ways to Paris Tailor in Los Altos instead. read more

This is the most terrible cleaner I have ever had. They didn't iron my shirts at all. I am busy so I have my friend to pick up my shirts and when I saw the shirts,the wrinkles are everywhere, I can tell they didn't iron my shirts at all. I have used them once so far and in the process of getting a large comforter cleaned. My first experience was pleasant as I dropped off my husband's suit jacket that was needed in 3 days for a party. Said jacket was covered in a respectable layer of dog fur, which one of the staff asked incredulously, "what happened?" FYI they normally charge $8 for dry cleaning but they charged double this for this particular jacket to remove the fur. I thought they did a good job since his jacket looked good as new and it was ready before the party. The comforter was dropped off today and was stated to be done by Saturday. I suppose their normal turnaround is 5 days. Anyway, great location since it's so close to home and it's in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking lots and other restaurants/stores you can stop by. read more

Pretty solid, hassle free laundry experience. $1.75/shirt, provides fairly quick turnaround (1 & a half day). One of my shirts had a food stain, they did a pretty good job knocking that out without damaging the material. Some other cleaners over bleach stains sometimes. They also sewed back my wife's winter coat pocket which was falling off. I also had a button fall off on my suit jacket which they sewed back right on the spot for almost no money. I bring my pants here to hem (they're always too long for my short legs!) and can't tell how they did the alteration so perfectly. This is one of the most convenient and best dry cleaning facilities in Sunnyvale. They have great customer service and fast turnaround. From pressed men's shirts to women's evening wear, they do a great job with getting everything cleaned and getting out those tough-to-remove stains. I've taken evening gowns that I thought were ruined after a night of spilled foods and drinks and they have made those dresses like-new again. I have not personally used their alterations services but overall I am very happy with Mee's Cleaners as my go-to for our family's dry cleaning needs. The prices they charge are pretty reasonable too for more everyday items, though the fees for evening gowns and dresses are slightly higher than expected. This is a mom and pop operation with pride in a job well done. Hard to find but sooooo satisfying when you find a place that does great work. Not part of a huge, impersonal chain of franchised stores. They actually care that you are satisfied with the outcome. I brought them many cleaning tasks: neck ties, lab coats, men's suits.....superb. The most remarkable cleaning job ever? I had a cloth bag with stains that had accumulated over 24 years of use. I was uncertain....but it came out crisply clean and looking all freshed up. They also did clothing repairs like move the keys attachment cord on a waist/fanny pack. Als they repaired a broken zipper on a bag holding photographic equipment. Worked like new. An the price? very reasonable. Zipper repair $5. Moving the cord on the waist pack? $5. This place is awesome. I rarely go dryclean my clothes and most of my experiences with other drycleaners are subpar. Most cleaners use harsh chemicals and you smell like a walking Tide bottle after, but with Mee's cleaner; u smell fresh like a boss everytime. This is the ultimate place to go to if you need your jeans clean. You bring in your aeropostle, anchor blue, or jeans you bought from ross and when you come pick them up; they magically change into a pair of sevens or true religion. Its so amazing, id give this place 10 stars if i could but unfortunately yelp only allows you to place a mortal review as this place is pretty godlike. Epic service too if you happen to come in on saturday and receive the privilege to interact with serenity.
