Took care of my husband. Said he had pneumonia after over a week of what we thought was a cold . Gave him augmentin and prednisone. We told them he had Afib. So prednisone should NOT have been given to him and now from the antibiotics his pee is almost orange!!! We're going to his regular doctor now to see the cause for this change in color. Found out this antibiotic can cause liver damage!!!! No one said a word!! Hope we don't have to call a lawyer!!! If you value your life DONT GO THERE!!!! Went in for a dry cough. Lady at front desk was very friendly and easy to understand. Walked to the back and got blood pressure and all vitals checked, another nice lady, very easy to chat with. Finally got with the doctor and she was really nice too. Took care of everything, was very transparent with everything including prices of medication. Got our prescription in house which made it even easier and cost effective. Bonus points as they had an "adult sticker" basket, made us feel like kids again getting a little treat. Also they had bars of handmade soap for Christmas time that was free, which I thought was really nice. Overall a nice experience and will make this our go to location. Thank you ladies! read more

Visited on a Friday at 4pm for an ear issue. Doctor couldn't see me for 3 weeks. Front desk was welcoming. Kari Fitzpatrick MA escorted me into treatment room. Very pleasant and warm. We discussed issue and she got busy. Very knowledgeable about issues and equipment she used. Earscope had camera attached so I could also view what was going on. Rachel Seets PA came in next. What an Amazing person. Discussed plan of care. Very easy to talk to and patient with questions. Kari followed through with plan of treatment and explained exactly what was going to happen. Very gentle and knowledgeable of the treatment. Rachael returned and explained future plan of care, needs,and meds. Ladies, you made this visit pleasant. I will use whenever I need to. I went to Med One for a COVID test and possible treatment. I was very impressed by all 3 people who saw me - the receptionist, the assistant, and the APRN. I wish I'd noted their names. All were polite and listened to me. They were very quick and efficient. This had to have been the worst urgent care I've ever been too. besides the front guest staff the nurse and nurse practitioner there did not care about me and I just felt like another insurance bill. My son is 17 and was seen there for a covid test. No adult was with him at the time he checked in. He was told he'd have the test back in 3-5 business days. He came in on the 1st (4th day) to see if the results were in. He was cut off in mid-sentence by someone there stating that they will call him at the end of the day when his results were in. Also was told that they were not in. He drove down there today to find out the results and it turns out that they came in on the 1st. Not sure if this place is still ran by Dr. Lucas or not. It was terrible 10 years ago and I can see nothing has changed. Definitely do not recommend. read more

This was my first time contacting this office and visiting the location. I found it by searching on Google. I arrived at the location at 9:09am on March 16th, 2020. I tried to call into this MedOne Urgent Care location and was told there would be no need to schedule an appointment, I tried to schedule one. Vanessa at the front office picked up the call. When I got to the office and walked up to the front desk counter I received a nasty look from Vanessa who asked me if I had just called - when I asked what the current wait time was. I began to fill out the patient information paperwork and then walked to up to the front desk. Vanessa, asked me with a very unpleasant attitude if I had filled out the back of the form. I said no, I didn't know there was a back. Vanessa brusquely replied back 'I said front and back!' After that I horrible customer service experience I had to rip up my patient information paperwork and walk right out. I couldn't make past the front office before having to leave before that experience. I have not felt so disrespected by an employee of any business in a long time. As a patient seeking a medical professional I'm in shock that this office has hired Vanessa to be the face of their company. I would not recommend that you or your family come to this location for medical professional assistance. read more

Do not think that you can pop in here and get a Rapid COVID test an be on your way. Even though all you're waiting for is to have a swab pressed up your nose by a tech or nurse, they will will make you wait until EVERYONE that came in before you is see by a doctor! I called ahead, then drove there on my lunch hour only to be left sitting in the waiting room and hearing others talking about being there over 3 hours. Then asking is it going to take up to 2 hours before I can have my test, and being told that was correct. There are emergencies and others ahead of you. Find someone else to get your rapid test. There is a place call Nona Labs, only you have to have a doctor call ahead for that place. Good luck! read more

I've been a customer for years, pay upfront every time I visit. I like the practitioners, but absolutely zero help from the office manager resolving a billing problem created on their side. I can't even get a call back. Horrible customer service. 2 phone calls, 2 fax's and zero response. I was sent to collections for a balance that was paid in full at time of service. I brought this to their attention in 2013 and they said it was error because they changed billing system, and would get it corrected. It was never corrected and I'm getting zero help getting corrected. read more

I had a follow up appointment for my results at 11:30am. I showed up on time and waited 1 hr for them to tell me my results were not in yet. They had already charged me and no one informed me that there was a delay. They waited an hour to inform me of what I should have been told before my appointment. Plus, these test results most important places give over the phone; however, they charged me another $75 dollars to tell me about the test I already paid for on my last visit. read more

I visited this facility in May 2018,did a lab and was surprised that this facility could not do a simple test, but I moved from Ocala and when asked for my result to come by mail or email was told, I had to come in to pay again for the results and it is a HEPA violation to mail it and so I could not get my results via email nor mail. Do not sign any documents in a doctor's office unless you read over these documents they have a way of using those signatures against you.This is the same mail service they have used to mail my bill from this same facility. Just want patients to be aware. I have moved out of the city 6 hours drive away, but now I called a week later for the result and was told I must come in. Please be aware of these facilities and the unscrupulous charges they apply by scheduling appointment for simple test result why not send the results to the patient if they request them and let them take it to their primary care if they choose. read more
