She…read morethen informed me she would be inserting an IV and performing a test before administering contrast dye. When she inserted the IV, she was unable to get it to work. Instead of removing and restarting properly, she repeatedly moved the needle in and out of my vein. This was uncomfortable and concerning. Eventually, she removed the IV and wrapped my arm. She called for another woman to assist, but when that person was unavailable, a man nearby stated he could help. She agreed and left the room. The second staff member applied the tourniquet extremely tightly. I told him it was very tight. When he inserted the IV needle, I immediately told him it was very painful and that something did not feel right. Despite this, he continued. When he attempted to inject fluid, it infiltrated into my arm rather than into the vein, and the area around the site visibly swelled. Only then did he remove the needle. I have never had difficulty with IV placement or blood draws in the past, including blood work done just two weeks prior without issue. This experience was painful, distressing, and felt improperly handled. I am especially concerned that my repeated statements about pain and discomfort were not taken seriously.

After more than 15 minutes on hold a lady answered who did not give her name. My wife gave her name and date of birth and asked to make an appointment. The lady on the phone suddenly shifted to what can only be described as an attitude. WAS THE ORDER sent over?, and I am not exaggerating her tone. My wife proceeded to try and explain that she had a physical order because her Dr office could not get her in for 2 months. WELL i CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE ORDER! came the voice with an attitude!. My wife asked nicely if she could call and have it sent over and the lady said NO YOU CAN NOT! At that point I asked to speak to the Lady on the phone and I asked her why she was being so cold and rude to my wife, which she did not like, and she replied that I was hollering at her and she hung up! I am not sure what was going on with this lady but I intend to inform my cardiology provider how their clients are being treated. Shame on this individual you are dealing with elderly sick people who have great difficulty as it is navigating the system. The last thing we need are uncaring buffoons without patience to help us when we need it. One day you will be old (and know this)...you reap what you sow. Get your acr together as a professional and leave the attitude at home! There are other places we can go...try and remember that, I bet your employer knows it! If you read your reviews, it sounds like scheduling is an ongoing problem....shame on how you represent Advanced imaging.

There are a lot of complainers on this platform that like to complain about everything!!! I found…read morethat these folks did everything that everyone else has had to do during this pandemic and after it. They went out of their way for me and everyone there to do their best and all get us seen in a timely way. Everyone was kind and helpful!!! People that do not like wearing masks need to realize that it's not the workers fault that masks are required. They ask for you to use hand sanitizer again a non issue. People need to have patience with others especially in the medical community. These folks have worked hard to get people seen and do not need Adults with "Toddler Tantrum behavior to deal with". People if you happen to not get called back when making an appointment call back and patiently wait to be assisted. Don't complain, under-staffing is due to the pandemic. Also communication is important if you have to miss call and let them know what is happening, they went to a lot of work to help you that when you don't show without a call it is a loss for the business when they could have helped others. Don't get me started on wait times!!!! Sometimes it is necessary to wait bring a book and a smile people!!!! Overall this place was exceptional you are lucky Inverness to have such quality care!!!

She then asked…read moreme for my ID number, confirmed it, and scheduled an appointment for 6:30 a.m. I live over 45 minutes away from the imaging facility. After getting up at 4 a.m. and getting ready--while in immense pain--I arrived at the facility. The woman at the front desk asked me for my insurance cards, which I provided. I was then called in to begin the procedure. After getting changed and prepped, I laid down on the table. The woman from the front desk came in and spoke to the tech. The tech then told me, "Your Medicare was listed as your primary insurance, but you have a supplemental plan. That should have been entered as your primary, not Medicare." I responded, "I don't work in your data entry department. I didn't enter the information." She then became extremely rude and said, "We cannot continue with this procedure. You will have to reschedule." I asked when the next available appointment was, and she replied, "That's not my job. Talk to the schedulers." She left the room without giving me any further instruction. I got up, changed back into my clothes, and on the way out asked to reschedule. The person at the front desk said the next available appointment was in three weeks. That's when my frustration meter broke. I walked out. I called later to reschedule and was told the only available appointment was at the Inverness facility about a week later. That facility was also 45 minutes away. Again, it was a repeat of the first visit: mass confusion at the front desk, incompetent employees, rude and disrespectful behavior, and an extremely dirty facility. The website pictures must be from opening day--don't believe what you see. When leaving, I was told, "We will bill your insurance company and send you a bill if there is one." I said thank you and left. I later received a bill in the mail for my co‑payment. I explained to the woman at the front desk that I live 45 minutes away and asked if they could accept a cash payment at the office. She said, "Sure, we can accept cash." I drove 45 minutes one way, arrived at the office, and she told me, "I'm sorry, but the woman who handles the payments is at lunch right now." My frustration meter was already broken, but this one broke my blood pressure meter too. My blood pressure shot up to about 300/250. I told her to take the money and give me a receipt. She agreed--only because she knew how upset I was. I am disabled, and it is very hard for me to get around. After paying in full with cash, I then received not one but two more bills in the mail, with the second threatening to send me to collections. To date, the invoice is still listed as outstanding. They have issues at every level--from housekeeping to staff--and provide substandard care. The radiologists appear incompetent or rushed, likely due to cost‑cutting or excessive caseloads. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

The staff, from the reception desk to the MRI techs are friendly and helpful. They take the time to explain things, make sure you are comfortable and will stop the test if you need a little break. My scans are always read in a quick amount of time as well. Sure, occasionally things happen and you have to wait a bit longer than your appointment, that's okay because emergencies happen. Why stress over it, sit and relax while you wait. X-rays are walk-in and you may have to wait a bit. That's what happens sometimes, staff is busy helping others. I travel an hour to come to this location because of the outstanding staff. Keep up the great job everyone! Thank you for all you do.

The reason for the negative review is that they have not sent the imaging to her neurologist who requested the images. Her appointment was on the 15th of May, it is now the 5th of June. ....When she called (3 different times), she was told they had sent the information....today, she was told they sent the information from them reading the images, which is NOT what the doctor ordered, he simply needed the images so he could read them .Today's phone call told her that she would get the images faster if she drove the 140 mile round trip, picked the images up, and delivered them to her doctor....please note, she is 76 years old, and 100 % disabled from profound spinal issues. Needless to say, we are not happy campers
