This is the one that is located next to the Brownwood Hotel and also... just for reference... Wolfgang Puck restaurant. There is also a Starbucks in the very near perimeter. The ladies that work at Lake Medical Imaging (Brownwood location) where extremely attentive to my mother as they got her ready for her CT scan. For the first time ever ... I didn't mind "hanging out" in the office there while I waited for my mother to finish her CT Scan.

Their CT machine, and radiologist missed an 8mm kidney stone that I told them was there. I had a CT scan in the hospital a month before which showed it in my ureter. After not passing it, my urologist scheduled surgery but needed a CT scan to see its location. I went to Radiology Associates of Ocala, and they sent results to my urologist saying no stone was present. After another month of pain I ended back up in the hospital with kidney failure, needing immediate surgery for stone removal. The office manager Carrie, said they did nothing wrong and won't refund my money. This place either doesn't have experienced techs, or they have old, outdated or faulty machines. Imagine if this was someone with cancer. These tests should be accurate! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED and HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

My wife proceeded to try and explain that she had a physical order because her Dr office could not get her in for 2 months. WELL i CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE ORDER! came the voice with an attitude!. My wife asked nicely if she could call and have it sent over and the lady said NO YOU CAN NOT! At that point I asked to speak to the Lady on the phone and I asked her why she was being so cold and rude to my wife, which she did not like, and she replied that I was hollering at her and she hung up! I am not sure what was going on with this lady but I intend to inform my cardiology provider how their clients are being treated. Shame on this individual you are dealing with elderly sick people who have great difficulty as it is navigating the system. The last thing we need are uncaring buffoons without patience to help us when we need it. One day you will be old (and know this)...you reap what you sow. Get your acr together as a professional and leave the attitude at home! There are other places we can go...try and remember that, I bet your employer knows it! I believe that they were trained at Disney University (incognito...LOL). I used to feel that way about a nearby imaging center but when I couldn't get a chest x-ray till months later, I knew that it was time to "move on". Excellent customer service and welcoming staff here also. This is my new imaging place and I'm so grateful that it's a lot nearer than my Homosassa place that I began going to several years ago. I found…read morethat these folks did everything that everyone else has had to do during this pandemic and after it. They went out of their way for me and everyone there to do their best and all get us seen in a timely way. Everyone was kind and helpful!!! People that do not like wearing masks need to realize that it's not the workers fault that masks are required. They ask for you to use hand sanitizer again a non issue. People need to have patience with others especially in the medical community. These folks have worked hard to get people seen and do not need Adults with "Toddler Tantrum behavior to deal with". People if you happen to not get called back when making an appointment call back and patiently wait to be assisted. Don't complain, under-staffing is due to the pandemic. Also communication is important if you have to miss call and let them know what is happening, they went to a lot of work to help you that when you don't show without a call it is a loss for the business when they could have helped others. The reason for the negative review is that they have not sent the imaging to her neurologist who requested the images. Her appointment was on the 15th of May, it is now the 5th of June. ....When she called (3 different times), she was told they had sent the information....today, she was told they sent the information from them reading the images, which is NOT what the doctor ordered, he simply needed the images so he could read them .Today's phone call told her that she would get the images faster if she drove the 140 mile round trip, picked the images up, and delivered them to her doctor....please note, she is 76 years old, and 100 % disabled from profound spinal issues. Needless to say, we are not happy campers

So over the corse of 3 years I have had 3 mri at this location. The latest one was 2 weeks…read moreago,and was done totally wrong by the radiologist contradicting all the last 2. When I called to see why. They caused me a massive panic attack. They definitely lost their credibility with me. And I canceled the mri I was suppose to have today because of their mistake on my mri 2 weeks ago. I can't trust them to do it correctly. Totally a shame on them
