My wife called in to make an appointment for a cat scan. She is 76 and I often help her with her calls because it is hard for her to hear. After more than 15 minutes on hold a lady answered who did not give her name. My wife gave her name and date of birth and asked to make an appointment. The lady on the phone suddenly shifted to what can only be described as an attitude. WAS THE ORDER sent over?, and I am not exaggerating her tone. My wife proceeded to try and explain that she had a physical order because her Dr office could not get her in for 2 months. WELL i CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE ORDER! came the voice with an attitude!. My wife asked nicely if she could call and have it sent over and the lady said NO YOU CAN NOT! At that point I asked to speak to the Lady on the phone and I asked her why she was being so cold and rude to my wife, which she did not like, and she replied that I was hollering at her and she hung up! I am not sure what was going on with this lady but I intend to inform my cardiology provider how their clients are being treated. Shame on this individual you are dealing with elderly sick people who have great difficulty as it is navigating the system. The last thing we need are uncaring buffoons without patience to help us when we need it. One day you will be old (and know this)...you reap what you sow. Get your acr together as a professional and leave the attitude at home! There are other places we can go...try and remember that, I bet your employer knows it! If you read your reviews, it sounds like scheduling is an ongoing problem....shame on how you represent Advanced imaging. read more

It's now HCA Imaging. Gave me back someone else's ID and insurance card. They scrambled to locate mine. I guess I'm lucky they hadn't given mine to someone else. And the person whose I had should be glad I'm an honest person. Facility is dirty. Gown was stained with old blood. No beside manner. I left like I was just another number. read more

How do you give a negative 5???? This is the worst scheduling nightmare and lack of customer service I've ever, ever experienced!!!!! I was given the wro g information by their staff and waited over a month for them to get back to me. I was told they were waiting on insurance authorization to find out they didnt have my insurance. Then they tell me that they didn t need approval after all and who told me that? This place is a nightmare and I wish Radiology Associates took my insurance. read more

Terrible waited 2 hrs had a Mamogram she hurt me so I had all skin tares under my breast and got very burned under breast all red and hasn't gone away yet she didn't clean the machine or wash her hands I told her your hurting me she said your such a good patient were almost done There you have it Don't recommend this place terrible place read more

If there was minus 5 thats what I would leave. My expierence started with scheduling an appointment. After several days of trying I was able to get someone on the phone, but could not schedule the appointment becasue my Dr supposedly did not send the order. I then drove 30 minutes to hand it to a person as I could not make the appointment until they had it. They would not take the appointment then, I had to wait 24 hours to schedule it via phone only. (ridiculous) anyway, after waiting 40 minutes the next day, I got a receptionist who was questioning the "why" of the doctors order. After ANOTHER 30 minutes of arguing, they finally agreed to perform the DOCTOR ORDERED ultrasound.Unfortunatly this was the only facility the insurance covered in the area. When I arrived the technician was also more concerned over "why" and was very annoying and abrasive. I decided that even though I had gone through so much aggrevation for the appointment, that this person was more interested in insurance claims than her patient.A technician should be concerned with her patient, not paperwork.That was the last thing I needed to hear. as I now had no confidence that she could do her job correctly and left. and drove up to Gainsville, I have some very unique health issues that my Doctor understands, and I am stunned by this behavior. I called the number listed on other complaints, and no one called back, so please dont post that as a response. The worst experience ever. read more

I arrived here for a mammogram, and had a significant wait time: probably about 45 minutes. But the place was very busy and had plenty of staff. Staff were extremely friendly, and efficient doing their job. Once I was in the exam room, I was in and out within 10 minutes. Overall a great experience except for the long wait time. read more

As a senior citizen I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility... I clearly agree with the comments posted on Google by "Shantana Lewis, Adel Atwa, Ruth Black, Ronald Grinage, Theresa Davis and Kathryn Smith "; and here on Yelp by Dee G., Betty H. and Julie K. (last 2 in the not recommended section).. Note the sign on their front door clearly states "College of Radiology" which explains why they are so busy; students.. It's all about the Benjamins baby... I still prefer Radiology Associates where one phone call gets you an appointment with no push back.. Good luck to all who pass thru the doors of Advanced Imaging.. I had an appointment there yesterday and will not go back for my mammogram next year. Last year's appointment took two hours. It was the end of the day and busy, so this year I made the appointment for 2:30 pm, hoping it would be less busy. I arrived at 2:10 pm and at 3:30 pm, after watching all of the people that arrived after me go in ahead of me, I asked someone about this and she went back to check. I was taking back in less than 3 minutes. Why did I have to go ask? And the lady behind the counter that went back to check never spoke a word to me and acted like I was bothering her. A very nice young lady that called me from the waiting room to come back to another waiting area, named Carrie, was very nice and smiled a lot. She had me sign some papers. While I was waiting forever, I had nothing else to do and could hear the conversations behind the counter. I saw the nice lady leave for the day and come back in. She was apparently fired between the time she left and had to come back to get her stuff. I found this was of treating an employee very disturbing. The lady that fired her seemed to be the same rude woman that went back to see what was taking so long and never spoke to me. So, between the time I had to wait last year and this year, the attitude of the women and the atmosphere of the entire place, I won't do back. EVER! Don't waste your time here. read more

I normally don't do reviews but after the way I was treated was unbelievable I started calling Monday was on hold twice for 30 minutes each time when I did get through they had my husband's orders but not mine I called Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday still no orders (this was AFTER I'd already waited a week and a half to call ME) Friday I called and texted my Dr's office I was on the phone with them when they faxed my orders over to advance imaging I then waited a hour to call them back I continuously called for 2 hours I kept getting "Jackie" who would quickly say "this is Jackie please hold well I did twice for a hour then the phone just cut off ... This is very bad customer service they certainly showed me that they don't care for their patients anymore I remember years ago when they had great customer service but sadly NOT ANYMORE..... read more

Trying to get an appointment is a nightmare! Called the main number several times and there is no "press 1 for appt" . Just run around through the menu of no usable options. Also, tried the website. On the other hand, last night I compared my mri's to the mri's I've had done else where and every time on every part of my body they missed tooany things that have been verified SEVERAL times before the other establishment. If you are a senior on Medicare you should think twice about using Ocala Advanced Imaging. I had an MRI six months ago, Medicare paid as did my supplemental yet this place is insisting I pay the difference. Medicare has their own amounts they pay on a procedure and if a provider accepts Medicare it is illegal for them to go after patient for anymore, yet this is what is happening, they want $874. over and above what Medicare and supplemental paid. They even put the amount already paid by Medicare on the bill, obviously they feel above the law and perhaps they are but unless you don't mind paying your bill yourself and being inundated with bills demanding money, go right ahead. Medicare is adamant "I owe Ocala Imaging nothing..." yet they are not allowed to address situation with the provider. Is that not crazy? read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Advanced Imaging. I would not recommend them. My doctor faxed a referral to them. A man from Advanced Imaging called the next day. I was told that i needed prior authorization for the CT scan from my insurance and that this could take a week or longer . It was my understanding that they would apply for the authorization. I asked to be notified when they got the authorization. I waited 10 days and called Advanced Imaging to check whether the authorization had been approved. After being put on hold for, i believe for about 15 minutes, a women answered that there had been a change in their procedures a few weeks prior and they no longer requested the insurance authorization, that this was now my doctor's responsibility. So i called my doctor's office. I was told that they had not been informed of the change as had apparently been the case with the gentleman i had previously spoken with. My doctor's office faxed an authorization request to the insurance company the same day. I called the insurance company 2 days later to try to speed up the process and was told that the approval had been quickly granted the previous day. I called Advanced Imaging to schedule the scan since it had been approved. I was told that my doctor's office had to fax a referral along with the authorization to them and that they had not received one. I called my doctor's office and was told that they had sent this to them the previous day, so they faxed it again. I called Advanced again. I was put on hold again for 10 minutes. It took another 7-8 minutes for them to find a fax from my doctor with the authorization. The scan was finally scheduled for the next day. This whole process took 13 days, when judging from now fast my insurance approved the scan, it might have taken a couple days. All the while, if the worst case scenario of cancer is realized, then precious time would have been wasted. I will get the results next week. Advanced Imaging seems to be very disorganized and frustrating to deal with. read more

Had a really bad experience with my mother's CT appt. Originally she was scheduled for dec/2016, I faxed order & labs as I was requested - The day of the appt. I personally drop her off 30mins earlier so I can be on time to work - she brought with her the original order & labs results - when she ck's in they tell her she did not had an appt. that day so they scheduled her for a dif. date. The next day I get a call asking why she did not show to her appt. "REALLY" - She did show on time for her appt. so I took my time to explain in detail what my mother was told @ this office so ok I rescheduled for a day that I was able to come with her so I make sure this time she gets her test done. Finally the day has come (yesterday Jan/16, 2017) She originally was scheduled to have this ct w/IV Contrast when I asked the Tech (Very rude by the way) told me she will not have IV Contrast because it was to late in the day for that (which I did not understand because days before they called me asking to bring her earlier to give her the contrast) also was called several times asking for the Labs results because they couldn't get them @ portal/website which I already had faxed to them. The Tech also said that kidney results levels were to high to inject her (Really) never heard of that I always thought that was good - I explained him that was not high it was a little bit low so again he was rude - so I keep getting wrong information again I'm afraid my mom will not get her test done - so @ this point I contact the provider who ordered the test for my mom & stated she did not changed the order like this Tech told me & also got him another copy for her labs (apparently he did not find them) - so he proceed to get someone else involved who never got introduced-she contacted the provider & the order was changed I was told because she could go on a renal failure-like I mentioned before kidney levels was not that low to put on risk my mom. I work on the medical field - I had read the lab results I know what test was order & how needed to be done - I did not like the idea every time I asked I was given the incorrect answers. It really made me think if they are giving to patients is accurate information. I also have to say I'm a patient there but never had issues. read more

I am so very upset with the entire Ocala Health systems network. I am on Medicare and been making payments (as we agreed upon and I just got a letter from a collection agency today 10/25/2016, when I just made an agreed monthly payment on 10/11/2016. My doctors are a part of the Ocala Regional health system and guess what, this is making me going to change my doctors and any specialists who uses them. family Care specialist is a part of this system and I am done! I will not give one cent of my money to them once this bill is paid. Never been treated so badly. I recommend others to research your options before using anything that is associated with Ocala Health Systems. read more

In the past 2 weeks I've had a mammogram,X-ray and a MRI. Advanced Imaging Centers was great. I didn't have to wait. I was treated kindly and with respect. The X-ray tech was so nice. I'm sorry I don't remember her name. She was great because I have limited movement and she was very accommodating with my problems. Althea was my MRI tech. I want to take her home with me. She was so nice, I left a stressful procedure HAPPY because of Althea. Althea absolutely spreads joy and happiness. No one enjoys going for these procedures, however the staff at Advanced Imaging are experienced, professional, truly nice individuals. read more

I was told on the phone to arrive at noon for my 1:15 appointment at noon I was walking in the door . Now it's 1:30 still sitting in crowded waiting room so crowded some people had to stand . Very Poor customers service . I was here for a mammogram which don't take but a few minutes for me to have to sit in waiting for a hour and a half unbelievable at 1:35 I ask for my paperwork from my doctor and left called another office they were able to get me right in and out . Never ever will I pay for Poor service and this was beyond poor . read more

The absolute worst facility in any state I have lived. They should not bother making appointments for people because they are never on time. I have been to this facility five times in the past month and a half and have waited a minimum of 30 minutes after my scheduled appointments for myself and my mother. The reception staff are oblivious to reasons for backlogs. The techs are kind, but don't seem to care about patients' time. You are expected to arrive on time but the staff does not take you back on time. This facility needs more professionalism and better time management, as well as a better scheduling system.
