After more than 15 minutes on hold a lady answered who did not give her name. My wife gave her name and date of birth and asked to make an appointment. The lady on the phone suddenly shifted to what can only be described as an attitude. WAS THE ORDER sent over?, and I am not exaggerating her tone. My wife proceeded to try and explain that she had a physical order because her Dr office could not get her in for 2 months. WELL i CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE ORDER! came the voice with an attitude!. My wife asked nicely if she could call and have it sent over and the lady said NO YOU CAN NOT! At that point I asked to speak to the Lady on the phone and I asked her why she was being so cold and rude to my wife, which she did not like, and she replied that I was hollering at her and she hung up! I am not sure what was going on with this lady but I intend to inform my cardiology provider how their clients are being treated. Shame on this individual you are dealing with elderly sick people who have great difficulty as it is navigating the system. The last thing we need are uncaring buffoons without patience to help us when we need it. One day you will be old (and know this)...you reap what you sow. Get your acr together as a professional and leave the attitude at home! There are other places we can go...try and remember that, I bet your employer knows it! If you read your reviews, it sounds like scheduling is an ongoing problem....shame on how you represent Advanced imaging.

Entrance area is confusing, do you want the patients to wait on the social distancing decals on the floor or do you want people to walk up to the desk and use the kiosk to sign in? When people asked the woman at the desk, her response was not polite, very sharp almost to the point of nasty. After waiting my turn, a person copying all my identification, signing documents etc. they tell me they can not do the test today as you are waiting for prior authorization. So the travel to the facility was a waste of my time and transportation. The appointment was made over 3 weeks ago, they text yesterday to confirm the appointment, text documents to complete. I contacted my insurance company, despite the appointment being made over 3 weeks ago, the approval request was only submitted late wednesday afternoon. Thursday you text to confirm the appointment, friday you refuse service because you didn't file the request for prior approval in a timely manner. TERRIBLE SERVICE - there are other facilities available.

The staff, from the reception desk to the MRI techs are friendly and helpful. They take the time to explain things, make sure you are comfortable and will stop the test if you need a little break. My scans are always read in a quick amount of time as well. Sure, occasionally things happen and you have to wait a bit longer than your appointment, that's okay because emergencies happen. Why stress over it, sit and relax while you wait. X-rays are walk-in and you may have to wait a bit. That's what happens sometimes, staff is busy helping others. I travel an hour to come to this location because of the outstanding staff. Keep up the great job everyone! Thank you for all you do.

Their CT machine, and radiologist missed an 8mm kidney stone that I told them was there. I had a CT scan in the hospital a month before which showed it in my ureter. After not passing it, my urologist scheduled surgery but needed a CT scan to see its location. I went to Radiology Associates of Ocala, and they sent results to my urologist saying no stone was present. After another month of pain I ended back up in the hospital with kidney failure, needing immediate surgery for stone removal. The office manager Carrie, said they did nothing wrong and won't refund my money. This place either doesn't have experienced techs, or they have old, outdated or faulty machines. Imagine if this was someone with cancer. These tests should be accurate! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED and HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

So prednisone should NOT have been given to him and now from the antibiotics his pee is almost orange!!! We're going to his regular doctor now to see the cause for this change in color. Found out this antibiotic can cause liver damage!!!! No one said a word!! Hope we don't have to call a lawyer!!! If you value your life DONT GO THERE!!!! Plus the doctor there is hooked on prednisone for her asthma!!!

Took care of everything, was very transparent with everything including prices of medication. Got our prescription in house which made it even easier and cost effective. Bonus points as they had an "adult sticker" basket, made us feel like kids again getting a little treat. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age.
