Last week she told me they would not even be able to schedule me until March if even then. There is no end in sight!!!

I have been driving back to Broward for my annual eye exam since we moved here because I luckily have not had any issues with my eyes. I also love my optometrist there! I recently had an issue with my eyes, where I my vision was impaired and sort of seeing zig zag flashes. As we all do, I went to researching what it could be and all signs were pointing to retinal detachment. I went into panic mode, called my optometrist in Broward, and they directed me to go to an ER and request an on call emergency optometrist. When I called an ER, they said there is no such thing in Ocala, which I figured. So I decided to try showing up first thing in the am to Dr. Lentsch's office, hoping to receive care. Upon walking into the office, we were greeted immediately and offered assistance. I explained what was going on and the front desk associate said the Dr could not see me right away but she was able to squeeze me in the afternoon. Sucked because I had to move my schedule around but I had no idea what I was dealing with and I immensely appreciated the last minute fit in. She gave me paperwork to fill out, bring back, and took all my information then to be prepared for my appointment. We came back for our appointment and we were greeted with same friendliness as the morning. I handed over the paperwork and also informed her I filled it out online because it was sent to me in the interim. I was called in not too long after by another assistant. She asked assessment questions, performed some tests, then guided me to the exam room to wait for Dr. Lentsch. Dr. Lentsch came in not too long after, introduced himself, and shook my hand. Dr. Lentsch confirmed everything I had reported on the paperwork, along with my own report I created since the problem initiated. After dilating my eyes and looking over everything, I was informed that everything looked great and it was most likely Ocular Migraines. Dr. Lentsch suggested I get a CT scan, just to rule out anything serious. I was so relieved and Dr. Lentsch is one of those professionals you need in an anxious time. I was informed on my way out, at the front desk, that I should receive a bill in the mail. I excessively thanked the staff for taking me last minute and for their assistance and left. I HIGHLY recommend this office!
