I never like going here, I use heathbrook location regular and the only reason this time was open…read moremri is at this location, its dingy and smells bad, after requiring me to arrive at 1215 for a 1300 appointment, at 1330 i asked about mri, and was told there running behind (they was waiting on results from head x-ray due to previous eye injury with metal, all understandable but i got a text and read the results on my patient portal earlier, I did not have any issues with staff all were helpful, the only thing I would recommend is that the triage desk person act a little more patient friendly, facial expressions would have one think she is mad at the world, and stop asking patients personal questions without a little privacy about someone's medical history and ssn, for the whole waiting room to hear while checking in (example she ask a elder woman have you ever had breast implants, what age was you when you went thru menopause, etc. I mean I was in a chair across the room and herd everything along with everyone else I could see the lady was a little embarrassed. This is more than likely the last time I use RAO.

Found out this antibiotic can cause liver damage!!!! No one said a word!! Hope we don't have to call a lawyer!!! If you value your life DONT GO THERE!!!! The lady on the phone suddenly shifted to what can only be described as an attitude. WAS THE ORDER sent over?, and I am not exaggerating her tone. My wife proceeded to try and explain that she had a physical order because her Dr office could not get her in for 2 months. WELL i CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THE ORDER! came the voice with an attitude!. My wife asked nicely if she could call and have it sent over and the lady said NO YOU CAN NOT! At that point I asked to speak to the Lady on the phone and I asked her why she was being so cold and rude to my wife, which she did not like, and she replied that I was hollering at her and she hung up! I am not sure what was going on with this lady but I intend to inform my cardiology provider how their clients are being treated. Shame on this individual you are dealing with elderly sick people who have great difficulty as it is navigating the system. The last thing we need are uncaring buffoons without patience to help us when we need it. One day you will be old (and know this)...you reap what you sow. Her appointment was on the 15th of May, it is now the 5th of June. ....When she called (3 different times), she was told they had sent the information....today, she was told they sent the information from them reading the images, which is NOT what the doctor ordered, he simply needed the images so he could read them .Today's phone call told her that she would get the images faster if she drove the 140 mile round trip, picked the images up, and delivered them to her doctor....please note, she is 76 years old, and 100 % disabled from profound spinal issues. Needless to say, we are not happy campers

Their CT machine, and radiologist missed an 8mm kidney stone that I told them was there. I had a CT scan in the hospital a month before which showed it in my ureter. After not passing it, my urologist scheduled surgery but needed a CT scan to see its location. I went to Radiology Associates of Ocala, and they sent results to my urologist saying no stone was present. After another month of pain I ended back up in the hospital with kidney failure, needing immediate surgery for stone removal. The office manager Carrie, said they did nothing wrong and won't refund my money. This place either doesn't have experienced techs, or they have old, outdated or faulty machines. Imagine if this was someone with cancer. These tests should be accurate! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED and HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

The only thing was needed a co-payment of set amount of $144.36. Then after procedure was done, we receive a bill on 05/27/2025 for an outrageous amount of $656.32. We called immediately on 07/23/2025 and spoke with Casey rep at number provided 844-974-3800 and explained the situation that we were told BEFORE procedure took place that the insurance will cover cost of procedure. I even gave another insurance card Anthem to help cover cost of this bill. Now, again on 11/04/2025 we receive the same bill and same amount of $656.32 to pay. We called once again to resolve this bill and spoke to Martha on 12/02/2025, and once again explained mis- information given at time of making appointment and day of procedure. The rep. Martha responds were that insurance only paid $53.00 of bill, and the patient was responsible for the rest of bill. So, aside from already paying the amount of $144.36, now I needed to pay an additional cost amount of $656.32 more. To anyone understanding, this is an abuse of fraud and deception to obtain patients and then come with out-of-pocket cost to bills that otherwise would have been paid by the insurance. If we knew ahead of time that the insurance was going to cover very little at this location, I definitely I would have done procedure at another location. This is the reason for having insurance.

I know a great MD when I see one and Dr Clunn is the whole package. Not only is she one of the most astute diagnostitians ive ever known, she is also very kind and caring ( which is REALLY saying something, for someone practicing in a very difficult area of medicine, particulaly in pain medicine). So many people just want the drugs, opiates from their pain n med MD, but Dr Clunn looks at the entire person-physically, emotionally, their life circumstance, etc. Ive never felt like she rushed me through even on one of the clinic's busiest days. . She is truly a jewel as far as a person AND a physician and we in Ocala are truly blessed to be able to access her care. She deserves every one of these 5 stars.

The tech told me to lay on the machine and have me EARPLUGS not headphones that play music or anything like that. Also, there was no way to communicate with the tech and he did not communicate at all with me while I was in the machine. He didn't give me updates on how much longer or anything the whole time. This is crucial for anyone having an MRI. He then told me I did great when I got out... I told him exactly how I felt about the communication which was non-existent. Awful experience.

When I clicked the email and text links to confirm our appointments, the message was "you cannot cancel your appointment at this time." We showed up an hour ahead of our appointments to fill out paperwork and were told that we did NOT have appointments and THAT I HAD RESCHEDULED US TO 9/15. I explained my situation needing PT again, pointed out it made no sense for me to postpone my appointment after having moved it up, showed the office manager the text I'd received Friday afternoon (8/14-the day she insisted I'd rescheduled) and she was very rude, repeating that I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD RESCHEDULED. Then when she said she would try to get ME seen by a RESIDENT, she said she could only accommodate one of us, so I said don't bother and goodbye. So I wouldn't know what kind of medical care their medical staff give because they drove 2 patients away before being seen by anyone.
