Short wait and the NP I saw was excellent, no hesitation on how to treat.

Self Pay I first…read morechose Doctors Urgent Care because of its consistent five-star reviews. Each visit has been efficient, with wait times usually around 20 to 30 minutes or less. In today's horrific healthcare environment, prompt service and being treated with respect is scarce, which makes experiences and businesses like this stand out. I have now seen several of the rotating Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, and every one of them has been warm, friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age. Until then, clinics like Doctors Urgent Care provide an important bridge with reasonable self-pay pricing and accessible care. In a healthcare system wrought with obsessively high insurance costs and pharmaceutical companies earning billions each year while many Americans struggle to afford the basic necessities of life... this business is genuinely helping to fill an important gap for many people, which is why those five-star reviews continue.

Was pretty much called a liar about the urgency of this, interrupted, told how to talk as I was being too emotional that's the real kicker, put on hold 20 minutes. The list goes on. Still do not have my order nor pre authorization. Hit me up after you've listened to the tapes and I'll change this. She's awful and not a good look vibe for the general public. Still needing the CT after all that run around nonsense so she's unable or unwilling to do her job. I've never been talked to so poorly in my life.

I was referred her by my pediatrician after my daughter developed symptoms of pink eye. We arrived about 7pm, waited for about 15 mins, and then were escorted to an exam room. The lady who took us back was so rough with our daughter trying to get her vitals. She couldn't get a good reading for her oxygen or blood pressure and even struggled with getting her temperature. She eventually gave up and said the Doctor didn't really need it. After about 10 mins, the Doctor came in. He was so rough with my daughter. He was grabbing her face so hard. He looked at her so quickly I don't think he could even make a proper diagnosis. He just went based off of what we said as her parents. Definitely wouldn't recommend for patients with babies. The pictures are 2 days after her appt. Bruise is still dark and is the shape of a fingertip.

Given the elderly, mostly retired community that makes up south Ocala, these folk know what to look for and triage with the best. And, for a non-major metropolitan area, they can get busy as any Trauma One facility. I believe the ER is Four Stars, while the hospital itself rates only Two Stars. Oh and yes, have I experience better!

She should take Patsy's job on the 6th floor in Surgical. That witch needs to be fired. She is awful. She is a horrible nurse. She is uncaring, nasty, rude, awful and hasty. She doesn't care about anything but herself and everyone and I mean EVERYONE walks on eggshells when she is working on the shift. I had to stay there four days and I heard an ear full. That woman needs to be working at a jail. Even her co-workers likened her to a "an army drill Sargent" Sadly, that's not funny. When someone is very sick, they do not need a nurse throwing a fit in a room and tearing of her gown and cussing under her breath and whispering and then ignoring you for the next two shifts. I never got socks (I had to wear my own for two days). I never got water. NEVER. I never got the aloe wipes... How do I know about them? Well, the very last day, I actually got a nurse: Linda that gave a crap about people. Within minutes of her shift, she came in and brought me hot coffee, WATER (something you need to live), socks, fresh bedding, aloe wipes to replace mine --- and that's when I told her that I had never received anything like that at all! What, did Pissy Patsy take it home? She is an awful person. I am going to report the old bag. It's sad when I am being transported to my CT and the person who is transporting me sees Pissy Patsy and says, "Ugh... I hate coming to this floor..." Um YEAH, TRY BEING HER PATIENT It was hell. She never brought my meds. She never asked if I needed anything. When I would call for something, she would say in a really rude voice, "Can I help you... or you probably need something..." She was so extremely rude. I don't ever want to have to deal with that awful woman again and I will tell everyone! In addition, there was Jim, the Charge Nurse that I told all of this to and he was supposed to stop her from being my nurse and guess what: She was my nurse the very next day! Let me tell you, JIM, this was hell! Not only did I have MRSA and have had this for over a year and this is my 47th boil, but your staff made it a miserable experience. I can gladly spend my $60,000 elsewhere. I told you, get rid of the negative trash in your department because she will infect everyone. One negative person does that... You choose to let that happen, that is on you, but how many patients can't speak? How many people is she rude to? How many people go without water? How many people go without socks for their feet and have to walk on that nasty ass floor? Really?

From the doctors, to the nurses, and even the healthcare assistants. Dr Moullette was wonderful to deal with, caring, thorough, and you can tell she wants the best for all her patients. Big shout out to Shante, a nurse, and also Morgan, a nurse. Shante was very helpful, kind, and goes above and beyond for all her patients. Another staff member who was the sitter in my room, Frankie, is a shining star of an employee. Always making sure I was comfortable and assisting me to the restroom with an IV behind me, probably 10 times a day, and never once complaining. I've had a lot of experiences with hospitals throughout my life, and must say Advent Health Ocala is the greatest and most qualified hospital I've ever stayed at in Florida. Definitely recommend to anyone during an emergency or for any other healthcare needs. Thanks very much for all your help and may God bless all of you!

Shift changes occurred and night shift is completely pushing him aside and disregarding that the doctor said he may shower at his pleasure. After this experience, I have so much motivation to change my whole life career to go to nursing school and actually be there for people in time of need.
