The staff is excellent, from the receptionist on up. They moved quickly, addressed all my concerns, did the proper tests and treatments (I am a nurse and have been this route before) and sent me home with only necessary prescriptions. Questions were encouraged. This was done with a caring attitude and sense of humor from each and every one. I highly recommend this ER, including Dr Savko, Nurse Chris, and paramedic Eric.

I have now seen several of the rotating Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, and every one of them has been warm, friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age. Until then, clinics like Doctors Urgent Care provide an important bridge with reasonable self-pay pricing and accessible care. We definitely bonded and had a great talk. She recommended some bloodwork, which was fine . The staff's instructions and responses to my inquiries were incorrect about 85% of the time. Also they do not use their portal effectively. I complained numerous times and was told the software "does not do that"; however, I have another physician that uses the same software and it is excellent. I had about a 10 minute wait (much less than I am used to experiencing). Mary Halleck, the Physician Assistant was prompt, efficient and knew exactly what I needed. This is the worst urgent care I have ever been to. I presented with a sore throat and chest…read morecongestion. I mentioned that I was prone to getting Strep throat. The NP that saw me only looked at my throat, she completely ignored my obvious chest congestion, I was coughing quite a lot. She said she was going to get a Strep test. She came back and informed me that they were out of tests. Her professional recommendation was to go home,drink lots of hot tea with honey. Just in case she also sent a prescription in for a Z-pack. I followed her instructions,finished the meds, and was sicker. And I was charged $50 even though they were listed on my insurance and I have Medicare. I was actually worse so on the next Wednesday I went to Care Spot Urgent Care. There I was seen by a Dr. he was extremely concerned about the huge amount of congestion and inflammation in my lungs. He had the NP give me an injection of steroids in the office. He also prescribed a course of prednisone,a different antibiotic and a medication for my coughing. When I checked out I was not charged they said it was all covered by my insurance. I am happy to report that I am substantial better. Thanks to the proper care I received at Care Spot Urgent Care. I would not recommend Magnolia Family Urgent Care.

So prednisone should NOT have been given to him and now from the antibiotics his pee is almost orange!!! We're going to his regular doctor now to see the cause for this change in color. Found out this antibiotic can cause liver damage!!!! No one said a word!! Hope we don't have to call a lawyer!!! If you value your life DONT GO THERE!!!! Plus the doctor there is hooked on prednisone for her asthma!!!
