Dr. Reddy's office called us surprisingly fast to schedule an appointment after they got the referral. My daughter's PCP recommended Dr. Reddy, who is a man when my daughter and I usually prefer female specialists. However, Dr. Reddy's office was accommodating, and my daughter was seen by Dr. Reddy's assistant who was very nice and showed concern for my daughter's situation. All of the staff there were very nice. We have only had one visit there and I am hopeful that the impression that we got is real and that we have found the right fit for our health needs. read more

After reading Mike S's review, I figured I should give my opinion. I have been using 7 Hill Gastro for many years. Unless your appt is first or second of the day, you will wait. I agree that the waiting time is too long. Unfortunately when something is discovered during a procedure, it can delay the people who are waiting. The staff has always been professional & kind. Dr. Reddy doesn't interact with patients except to maybe wave or say hello before you go under. The office staff has always called me after a procedure to see how I'm doing. They were never rude & never ignored me. In fact, they are always asking you to tell them your name so no mistake is made. They readily answer questions. The anesthesiologist always speaks to the patients before the procedure. Mike S really has no idea what the circumstances were for the woman he mentioned. Perhaps she didn't prep enough so they couldn't do the procedure. I doubt they told her to do the complete cleanse AGAIN unless there was reason to do so. And I doubt she would discuss it with him if she didn't prep properly. Yes, it can feel like an assembly line sometimes. That's because these procedures are done from 7 am till they finish. Sometimes eye surgeons do cataract surgery there because the bldg rents out space to other doctors. If Mike S was as angry at his appt as he was when he wrote this letter, I don't blame the staff for ignoring him. read more

My first visit to 7 Hill Gastroenterology, LLC in Ocala, FL was a very negative experiance. I drove 75 minutes to this location (he was the provider my insurance company listed) and arrived 45 minutes early in order to complete the new patient paperwork. After waiting a total of 2 hours, I asked the front desk what the delay was, she listed several reasons and when I questioned her responses she kept changing her answers, I informed her that I would wait 10 more minutes but if we were not taken back to be seen I wanted a refund of my $90.00 copay. She told the tech we complained and we were taken back in 5 monutes but had to wait another 20 min. to see "Dennis" the ARNP, after the interview he indicated he would schedule me for a colonoscopy and a upper endoscopy and sent me to the scheduling window. I waited 10 min for the scheduler to get off the phone and when she finally acknowledged me I told her what Dennis indicated would be done (both tests at the same visit due to travel issues and sensitivity to repeat anastesia). The scheduler refused to schedule both exams, said "we don't do it that way unless your diabetic or take blood thinners" and refused to assist me by speaking with the nurse practioner. As I brought a nurse with me to my visit they lied about not being able to perform both tests at the same time as most other centers do and its related to them wanting to bill my insurance and me twice so greed drives them. I will not let them do the procedure I do not trust them with my health after this. read more

This place is an assembly - line FACTORY....and you will be treated like garbage. We waited over 3 1/2 hours after our appointment time before even being taken to the prep area! One poor lady was there a second day...after all the horrible prep for the colonoscopy, she was told "we're out of time today, come back tomorrow..." and STILL she had to wait another 3 hours plus on the second day of fasting, colon cleansing, etc. The hostile staff will not answer questions or concerns... and just talk right over you like you aren't even there...or are even a real human being. You are prepped like parts of a machine...no explanations, very rough treatment, very few words. Dr. Reddy will NOT talk to patients AT ALL and just grunts a few words to his staff....who obviously detest him. Important prescriptions given at 'discharge' were NEVER sent to the pharmacy AT ALL....and involved 6 desperate calls to the 'office' before there was any response. They just NEVER sent them....and didn't care at all..!! If I could give negative stars, this cruel factory would get minus 5 or worse. If there is ANY choice, PLEASE don't endure what we & others did...AVOID THIS FACTORY AT ALL COSTS...!!! read more
