I enjoyed our special birthday lunch here. The environment was enjoyable, the service was a 10/10 and the food was pretty good. My husband enjoyed his kabobs very much. I liked my salad, but the appetizer was actually pretty bad. It tasted fine, like sour cream with water. It was really watery. Compared to the other images, it didn't line up. It was a terrible soup. We should have said something but since it was a special day we just took our few bites and moved on. read more

Amazing dining experience here during our recent visit to Naples! We dined here at the recommendation of one of our friends who lives in Naples. We some appetizers between all of us; the roasted veggie spread and hummus-both so good! My husband and I shared the carne paella. Omg, so good! More than enough for the two of us, so our friends shared some as well. For dessert we shared the baklava and all enjoyed it very much. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Excellent meal and great choices for vegetarians! Our meal included Spanish Red sangria and vegan paella with soy chorizo. Excellent! The roasted vegetables in the paella were so flavorful and the dish came out fresh and hot. Great service and the owner even stopped by to check on us during our meal and asked how everything was. It took me way to long to discover this gem in Naples. Located on a side street off trendy Third Street in downtown Naples, this Mediterranean restaurant has it all... good looks, interesting menu, high quality super tasty food, and good service. Prices are average for the Naples area. We were a party of 4 and every one of us loved what we had. We started with the saganaki cheese which was tart and creamy just the way it should be. It was served with fresh warm pita bread. The other standouts were the papparadelle mare e monti which had homemade pasta and was loaded with fresh clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp, and the Mediterranean Sea bass (branzino) was just delicious with an interesting sauce made with figs, raisins, and spices that did not overwhelm the delicate flavor of the fish. We ended the night by sharing a baklava which was the only disappointing part of the meal. It was very very sweet and a bit soggy. The decor was beachy and romantic, with a lot of white decor and twinkly lights. I liked the whimsical potted plants handing upside down from the ceiling. Street parking can be difficult and valet was not available, but after circling a few times we found a space a few blocks away. Bottom line... love love love this place and will be back soon. read more

First time here. We started with two salads for the four of us and dolemeh (grape leaves wrapped around herbs and rice) serve red with Tzaki sauce and an eggplant sauce. The herbs really popped. The two salads were fresh and crisp. I enjoyed the fish special it was trite served on risotto and served with green beans.There were fresh artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and other goodies mixed in. We also had the beef kabob you received a skewer of beef and a skewer of veggies served over rice. Tziki sauce on the side. We also had the lamb shank that fell off the bone and was delicious in flavor. We had pistachio gelato and baklava for dessert. The gelato was awesome. We did not care for the baklava it was too dense and not flaky enough for our liking. Overall the service was grand and the food scrumptious. We will be back! read more

Dry rub with light orange taste served over just right cous cous. Green beans Al dente. Husband sticks to standard eats - filet. But he ate EVERY veggie, a plus any time. And they were herbed just right. So... order dessert. Order a drink. COVID NOTE: The tables were definitely less than 6 feet apart and it was crowded. The staff did wear masks, but our waitress's mask was sliding down a fair amount. Didn't feel safe at all given the number of people jammed into a small space. Onto the food: Not the best place for vegetarians. They have a lot of possible options, but the food was fairly average. We ordered the hummus, roasted veggie spread, and saganaki for apps, and the vegan paella, vegetarian delight, and spinach pasta for mains. The apps were pretty good - the pita was warm, and served with basil butter, which was something I hadn't seen before! Of the mains, the vegan paella was uninteresting and spinach pasta was pretty bland. The vegetarian delight was the only vegan dish somewhat worth getting - the baked tomato was bursting with flavor. Despite the food not meeting expectations, the atmosphere was lively, service was attentive, and the wine list extensive. Might come back post-COVID just for apps and drinks. read more

Mediterrano lived up to its expectations. It is a lovely place, almost like eating in a flower garden. One unusual aspect of the decor was that the plants hung upside down from the ceiling--leaving us wondering why the soil wasn't falling on us. The menu has a variety sure to please everyone. We had the Branzino which was prepared perfectly with an apricot, fig and raisin dressing. The portion size was very generous. As appetizers we had humus and Tzatziki dips. Both excellent. They had a very varied wine list including by the glass. Out waiter Ivan was friendly, helpful and attentive. We will be coming back soon. Highly recommended! read more

We came here based on the 4.5 ratings and i have to say, those are a bit too high. The food was solid, but not even close to Trulucks or Seventh South. We had entrees like lamb shank and paella. The paella does not come close to authentic paella in Barcelona. The key lime pie was highly recommended but was more like cheesecake. And the service... aggravating. Our server was more interested in talking to tables of attractive women or individuals with political views other than mine. There should be NO politics in food. First of all, the service was excellent! Our waiter was constantly checking in on us and refilling our wine glasses at the same time. The food was awesome. We had the mussels and if I had a straw I would've taken down all the broth! For dinner my gf got the lamb special (I think a shank) and I had the filet. Both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. While the ambience was fairly pleasant and the servers attentive, paying Napa or NYC prices for mediocre Mediterranean food must be part of the Naples experience? A price tag of $34 for boxed pasta with bland tomato and grilled veggies. Please save your money and make this at home. The grilled fish of the day with risotto was decent, but again a price of nearly $48 for something as unspectacular I couldn't justify even with 2024 inflation. Excellent food and service! This is a must do! Located on a tucked away street lined with beautiful flowers dripping from the overhangs to the large pots on the sidewalks. You will feel like your in paradise right away. The decor is cream and Tiffany blue, very elegant and creates a peaceful environment. We happen to dining as a group of 4 in August and they were running one of Naples summer dinner specials. We were very thrilled with the $35 dollar per person that included a delicious watermelon salad with Champaign vinaigrette. I choose as my entree the lamb shank. It was tender and flavorful. One of my favorites! Highly recommend. The special is followed with a choice of desert. Honestly I couldn't eat it, as I was already too full. I wouldn't come back or recommend this place if you're in town for a visit. The good: - the service was great - really personable staff even thought it was a Friday night and they were busy - we got a great bottle of rose for $50 - reasonable prices throughout the wine menu - the patio was really cute with lights and plants - the lamb shank I ordered was tender and the gravy was good The bad: - the mussels were kind of fishy - plus they were supposed to come with chorizo. To start the atmosphere is so relaxing and reminds us of Greece, which is our favorite place on earth! The service was wonderful. The food.. OMG.. was so delicious! We had saganaki, lamb meatballs with yummy tzatziki and kabobs with the most tender flavorful meat. Our friend had the grouper special and loved it too. We finished our meal with creme brûlée and chocolate wine for desert. Everything was perfect! We will definitely be back and have already told our friends how good it is. We came here for our anniversary and had a great time. My wife loves saganaki, so of course we had to have it (got to make it another year to celebrate again - haha). Opa, it was yummy. Since we eat early, she ordered the early bird special three course meal and got the lamb meatball app, the branzino and the key lime pie. I ordered the cioppino. The lamb meatballs were served with tzatziki sauce and it was hearty and flavorful. She really enjoyed her branzino accompanied with risotto and green beans. The risotto was flavored strongly with cheese, but oddly enough, it could have used a little more salt. My cioppino was filled with salmon and shelled fish in a delicious broth. Since it was our anniversary, we also got a baklava with a Happy Anniversary wish in chocolate on our serving plate. The baklava was tasty. But our key lime pie was even better. Overall, the ambiance, service and food was really very good. I think of this place as a 4.5 star place, but round up because of the overall experience. read more

What a disappointment!! we were so looking forward to this highly recommended and divine diner. The server, (tall dark haired male) was by far the rudest server I've ever encountered. He was clearly annoyed that we were there. When asking to order, he informed us that the kitchen was closing. We scaled back our order to a 60.00 bottle of wine, and hoped to order some simple appetizers. his arrogance and disrespect to my (mother) was so unacceptable. He mocked her. He ridiculed her. He as so rude to her, I decided we should not stay. We ended up saying we didn't want to stay. So unfortunate....not only was there a potential 300.00 plus order of food, but server would have walked out with a very generous tip. But this server....so rude, so arrogant...so mouthy! And to my mother! Not having it! We walked out and are eating at a lovely establishment that has shown us the upmost hospitality!! Atmosphere is awesome...food and drinks are delicious...prices are way cheaper...AND no dick server who is pissed that we got seated late is here. Our party of 6 had dinner and some apps. Unfortunately everything was just ok. The paella with chicken had grilled chicken tossed in. I don't think that is authentic . It was pretty good though. The lamb shank was kind of dry at $59. The spinach linguini with artichokes had no artichokes at $35 had too much sauce and not very eventful. My seafood in tomato dish Cioppino( fish chunks and some overcooked shrimp a few small clams a few not so good mussels ) drowning in a huge bowl of tomato soup was uninspiring as well at $42. The Dolmeh were good, a bit overdone at $3 per stuffed grape leave . 6 pieces for $18. The service was good. I felt we were a bit rushed . The ambience is nice. Way too over priced for what you're getting. I didn't feel like I got my moneys worth at all. I don't think I'll be back. The food needs a little more flavor. And the prices are way too high. $18 for hummus? Finally, I'm not a big fan of paying at the table on a device that you need to scroll through to see if the bill is correct, and giving tipping options as the server stands there and waits. When the bill is $500 for 6 people I'd rather look at a paper check and pay when I'm ready. Maybe I'm just old fashioned. read more
