First time at Mediterrano and the food was great ! Chicken Francese and Lamb Shank were very good. Lamb serving was very ample in a rich brown sauce , fork tender with a side of green beans and rice. Started with Saganaki which was nice as well Michael our server was fantastic as were the rest of the wait staff and even the bus boys were engaging. May be the only "Med" dining in Naples proper. Great location plenty of parking great outdoor covered dining felt like we were in Greece. read more

Food and service outstanding! Such a nice place. Love the upside down flower pots So close to Tommy Bahama and Third

The food was decent but the staff was bothered, irritated, and quite inattentive. Yes, you're in Old Naples downtown but even places on 5th don't treat you like they could take you or leave you--especially with the $800+ bill we happily paid and are accustomed to. Could use a reality check. Not even the best Mediterranean in Old Naples let alone Naples in general. The most memorable positive thing is the outdoor decor. read more

Food, service and ambiance are all 5 stars. The Saganaki is thick and better than what we get at a Greek restaurant. We also had Chicken Francese. It was enough to share. read more

This place was recommended to us by a local and we had to try it out.. They had great Ambience and the Servers were extra attentive. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back. I had their paella and it was very tasty. Will be back soon. read more

The ambiance for outdoor dining was fabulous. However, the menu of appetizers and entrees were the far from anything close to authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The Flaming Cheese Saganaki appetizer was dramatic when served, but was smaller than a miniature pancake and tasted like burnt velveeta. The tzatziki was an adequate portion for two people but served with pitta bread cut into triangles so small they would not hold a dab of tzatziki. Hopping that the entrees would offset our disappointment with the appetizers, our expectations were doomed. The Mediterranean Bronze Salmon served on a bed of Paella was a disaster. It was baked in an iron skillet and so overcooked that the paella was like a rock and defied consumption. The Chicken Francesa was served barely warm and a sauce that tasted like lemon juice with a mystery base. The unpleasant evening started with the waiter's persistence that we immediately order drinks and appetizers - not once, not twice but several more times. After the appetizers were ordered, he wanted to take our entree order and was told we would wait to enjoy our appetizers and drinks. He returned several more times until we finally relented and placed our order. When the check was delivered - of course there were incorrect charges that had to be fixed, and then stood by and waited for our payment. His persistence on being "paid" was obnoxious and offensive. It was clear that the food was terrible and the service even worse. Felt as though the waiter just wanted to "turn the table" for the next guest. Within three blocks, there are about a dozen restaurants that offer far better food, superior serviced at competitive prices. Dine at your own risk - you will NOT be a guest, just a means to ring the cash register and faten the wait staff tips! read more

Typical Naples downtown dining experience- loud, expensive, and nothing addictive on the menu to call you back. Good help Reasonably fast service Some tasty options Blah pita bread Love that they put the water pitchers on the table so you don't have to beg for every sip. Bring an intercom system or text your table mates. It is loud. read more

We attended Mediterrano for my wife's birthday and were beyond pleased. The beef tagine was incredible, but I was surprised at how delicious the trigger fish was....just wow! Aside from that, thank you to Camilo and the rest of the staff for making my wife's birthday dinner and incredible one! The hospitality and quality of food made this a very special night and I can't wait to go back!!! read more

10/10 experience here! The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staring with the shrimp saganaki, it was so tasty and a fun experience when they lit it on fire. I also ate the shrimp and risotto and it was very delicious. This restaurant is a little bit more on the pricey side but I think it's definitely worth the splurge. read more

We had our team dinner here last week and the meals were amazing! Eight of us and everyone loved their meal and the wines. Couldn't take pics as we were in the moment. Only slight issue is that salads were brought immediately after appetizers and we felt rushed. We ordered 4 appetizers and hardly had room or time to enjoy how amazing they were before the salads were rushed out. Otherwise, a delectable meal and charming setting outside. read more

Came in around 6:45PM on a Tuesday night for a party of 5. We made reservations but it wasn't really necessary. This place was a recommendation from a friend who grew up here. The decor inside suits the beach vibe with shells and turquoise sea foam blue hues. If the weather was cooler, sitting outside with the dangling plants would have been nice too. We did the 3 course for $36 summer fix menu which offers an app, entree and dessert. We shared tzatziki, dolmades and pita bread - the bread was so warm and soft meshing so well with the tzatziki, olive oil, pesto butter and honey balsamic vinegar. I ordered the mahi mahi for entree and baklava for dessert. My teammates ordered meatballs, lamb kebab, and creme brûlée's. The mahi mahi was on the dry side, slightly overcooked but the veggies that came with it were delicious! I couldn't finish the fish. The lamb kebabs looked really good - get them cooked medium rare. The baklava was smaller in comparison to the creme brûlée. I thought the baklava was way too sweet. The prices are fairly decent, but I was disappointed in my food choices except for the apps - pita was great. Honestly, I'll give it another go with maybe the beet salad and the salmon cakes next time. There's such a big selection, just didn't hit home for me quite yet. read more

A beautiful atmosphere, excellent food and amazing service equates to Mediterrano. Camilo was our waiter and he was outstanding. Mediterrano meets the needs of a vegan palate and then exceeds it! Delicious apps: grapes leaves, med salad and the best hummus EVER! Camilo was an attentive waiter who readily accommodated our vegan needs. Overall great experience would definitely recommend. All the positive hype that lead us to visit for my bday was clearly not our experience. Plus, the server was personable and knowledgeable, Otherwise, the service was slow. As for the food, we liked the olives and feta most, which is pretty sad. The lamb meatballs were bland. Cioppino and seafood paella - Clams and mussels small and overcooked. Calamari like rubber. Octopus charred. Fish bland. Cioppino broth decent. Just ok. Paella boring. Would not go back. read more

Wonderful dining experience. Such a pretty place. Like sitting in a garden. Service was exceptional. Food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and exquisitely prepared. Will definitely go back the next time I am in the area. Loved it. read more

Good food and nice atmosphere. The food here has a variety of ethnic selections and I went right for the paella. I was looking to compare against the quality and traditional style we get in Newark NJ. The quality of the seafood and meats were good and flavorful. The portion size was good enough not in comparison to NJ but don't want that while on vacation. The crusted chicken was good and cooked well with great flavor Our service was good so no complaints there. The only feedback is the seafood in the paella could have had larger clams and more calamari. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and outdoor seating was very comfortable. I would recommend for a visit when in Naples. read more

Absolutely Fabulous!! Gorgeous decor and Fantastic food. Flaming saganaki appetizer is a must

We made a reservation for 8:30 pm on OpenTable because 5:15 pm and 8:30 pm were the only dinner times available. We happened to be in the area at 6:00 pm and checked to see if we could get seated earlier (not expecting anything because they were very busy). The manager and hostess were incredibly polite and offered us a table immediately. The wine list was extensive. The DOLMEH was prepared with great care and attention to detail. Very complex flavors. My significant other had the fish of the day, which was perfectly curated. The lamb dish I ordered was perfectly tender with complimentary vegetables and Cous Cous. A+ service from the waiters. If you are looking for upscale mixed with an inviting corner place, I would highly recommend dining here. read more

Good location downtown. ample parking nearby. Service is excellent. Menu selection is strong. Excellent wine menu. Group had the kabobs which were excellent. The carne paella was the best I've had. The meats were cooked perfectly, the rice very flavorful and had a little crunch. The flaming cheese app was impressive but the Greek cheese was a tad bit salty for my taste. Others loved it. Lentil split pea soup was very good. read more

This was our first time dining at Mediterrano after wanting to try it for so long and let me just say, this is going to be a staple when in Naples! We dined outside on the patio and the atmosphere was so quaint and romantic. Our server, Boris, was amazing and so attentive! The food was delicious and they had a great, fairly priced wine selection. We shared the carne paella for 2 and it was absolutely fabulous. So good we didn't even get a picture! The fresh pita bread with olive oil, balsamic, and pesto spread is a great welcoming snack that you are greeted with upon being seated. There are honestly so many things that sounded delicious and we cannot wait to go back! read more

1st time here I simply loved the place So i took a few friends here last Sunday night & was very, very disappointed. To the point I was embarrassed. The food was not worth the price paid. The dolmeh (grape leaves )were served hot, which I did not enjoy. The steak kabob was six chunks of meat for 45$, I had 2 San grias which was mostly seltzer, that's a spritzer not San gria! My cousin ordered the spinach pasta with vegetables & there was only a few strands of pasta & mostly vegetables & the dish was small for 32$ the soups also small portion size & the baklava was 2 small pieces & it was hard, the only thing I enjoyed was the coffee, a large cup, fresh & hot. Will not recommend this place or go Back there read more

Every dish was over salted. I compare their food to a mid range Italian restaurant. Nothing special and way over priced for the quality of the cuisine. Additionally, they don't serve liquors...just wines and similar. Weird. On the plus side, the service was very good. Nice patio but decor was a bit cheezy. read more
