    Chocolate cake
    Mark M.

Stopped in for dinner for our anniversary. Sat outside on a beautiful evening in Naples. Amazing host and server. Ordered the saganaki, roasted beet salad, and the veggie paella. Each came out in order and wish I had taken pictures before eating. Beet salad was nice and light while the veggie paella was topped with an abundance of veggies (carrots, artichoke, olives, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, onions) so good and rich in flavor. The server was also nice enough to bring out a chocolate cake for our anniversary which may have been the best dessert we had! Sorry key lime!

    Vegan Paella - outstanding!

Had the best experience EVER! Loved the cool ambiance - felt like patio dining. Our waiter overheard that we were celebrating 2 birthdays - and without being prompted by any of us, took it upon himself to bring us 2 birthday cheesecake slices! Plus - our food was AMAZING!

Great food and service with a nice atmosphere. The food is always great. I had the Paella Valenciana and my wife had the chicken Francese. Both were excellent. I was pleasantly subtly the amount of seafood in this dish. The flavor of the rice was outstanding. The house made baklava was delicious. The house wines that we got were very good too.

What an absolutely charming restaurant! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and seated by a wonderful host--kind, accommodating, and professional. While the restaurant doesn't typically allow pets, he made an exception for our ESA, which we deeply appreciated. We sat outside on the beautiful patio, surrounded by hanging plants that added a lush, relaxing atmosphere. I wish I had gotten the name of our server--he was fantastic: attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly polite gentleman. We came for an early dinner and were offered a special prix fixe menu: $49 per person for a starter, entrée, and dessert. The value was excellent, and the experience even better. The meal began with warm pita bread served with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and pesto butter--a delightful start that signaled we were in for something special. The white sangria was light and refreshing. For appetizers, we all had the lamb meatballs nestled in creamy tzatziki sauce--absolutely delicious. For entrées, we each chose something different so we could share tastes: beef kebab with saffron rice, branzino on Parmesan risotto, and the standout of the evening--the lamb shank with mushroom risotto. Every bite was incredible, but the lamb shank truly stole the show. We ended with desserts that were the perfect finish: chocolate gelato, pistachio gelato, and a slice of baklava--all decadent and satisfying. The only negative note was a brief, awkward moment when the only female server appeared to question the host's decision to allow our ESA. Our dog, by the way, is just 14 pounds and spent the entire evening quietly under the table without a peep. That aside, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed some of the best Mediterranean food we've had in a while. My family and I would absolutely return!

A wonderful place both inside and out for dining. The location is somewhat on the edge of where busy starts so that is good too. For a last minute reservation in the middle of the week they did a great job fully accommodating a large party. The appetizers we did family style and tried quite a few. I am sure I am not remembering all the ones chosen but they did include: HUMMUS - Creamy paste of chick peas, fresh lemon, roasted garlic, olive oil, and tahini. grilled pita wedges with assorted vegetable, FLAMING CHEESE SAGANAKI - Black skillet roasted greek cheese with lemons, fresh ground black pepper flamed with ouzo, "GREEK SALAD" - Cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, red onion, greek feta, peperoncini, lemon-herb-olive oil dressing. For my personal main course I had the Atlantic tripletail fish special, and it was amazing. Literally the only problem we had was too much food, so I think we all took something home.

Everything we had at this place was fantastic. That lamb shank was fabulous! All the seafood in the Paella (and not in the Paella) was very good! Thank you, thank you, thank you for not overcooking the shrimp! Nothing worse than eating "dehydrated shrimp" (when it's not supposed to be). The sauce in the muscles was exquisite! How tender was that octopus?! My only criticism about the food was that their Paella Española was a bit moist (not that I minded) when it's supposed to be dry. Our server was the absolute best! My man did not at any moment not have a smile on his face. A sweetheart of a guy. The place has an upscale aura. It DOES sit in the sort of a neighborhood. My only complain is.... why would the WHOLE place NOT be air conditioned?! Jesus! It was SO hot and humid... and in spite of the heat... I still loved the meal... so, what's that say about their food and service? wink*

I had celebrated one of my birthday dinners here several years ago, and was back in the neighborhood by myself. The staff was extremely helpful in asking me what I was looking for and making recommendations from the menu. I ended up having an amazing seafood stew and glass of Duck Pond Oregon Pinot Noir. They have many gluten-free options available, and I had probably the best gluten-free bread I have ever had anywhere fresh-baked with a touch of rosemary and olive oil. It got a bit loud, but the interior was nicely decorated. Highly recommended!

    Key Lime pie

Loved this restaurant. We went for dinner. the lamb balls are excellent, great appetizer. I had the meat paella, the portion was very large, and everything was cooked to perfection. Wonderful service. the key lime is the best I have ever had. all the plants and the ambience is wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing. They serve beer and wine only. But the beer was very nice, and so was the wine.

The vibe was so inviting (& the weather was perfect, which helped!), the food was delicious, and all around it was just a quality visit. My dinner party of four loved everything ordered: shrimp & risotto, lamb keftedes, roasted beet & arugula salad, fish of the day -- Mediterranean style, one other dish I can't remember (oops!), and then the pistachio, vanilla, and chocolate gelatos for dessert. Our server was also very helpful, quick, & even remembered serving my colleague from a year prior as soon as she saw her face! Would love to share another meal here the next time I'm in Naples. As it were, I ordered a cappuccino & a slice of key lime pie to go!

    Lobster Bisque
    Marjorie F.

When vacationing in a coastal town, I always seek out the freshest, tastiest seafood. Mediterrano did not disappoint. The lobster bisque is the best I have ever had. The generous portion of lobster was impressive. I don't think I have had that much lobster in a bisque EVER.The soup itself was pure creamy goodness and not too salty. Even though I had soup to start, I could not resist ordering the Cioppino, an Italian Coastal Fish Stew. It was FULL of fish, mussels, shrimp, clams, roasted tomatoes, and Mediterranean spices. Toasted garlic bread was served on the side, very nice for dipping in the stew. Depending on your appetite, it might be best to share. Of course, I would have none of that!!! The key lime pie made for a grand finale. Needless to say, I was more than satiated. The service was on pointe - friendly, professional, and helpful! My group enjoyed the atmosphere - the decor, plants, and the crowd. Busy nights make it feel a little crowded, but all the better to chat with your neighbors and see what they ordered! I will definitely be back when we return to Naples. In the meantime, I will be dreaming of that lobster bisque!

Such a great experience, food was amazing. Joel was our server and he made our time even better. Will definitely be back!!

Me and my hubby went for our anniversary. First time trying it and Joel, our server was amazing. Tried delicous wine and the white peach sangria, the lobster bisque was so good! On top of the watermelon fig salad. Oh so yummy! The restaurant was beautiful with all the cute flowers and the ambiance was great. Wish our table was a little bigger but it worked out just fine. Will definitely be back and bring the family!

For the first couples of years we dined here at least 3-4 X per season, but have stopped coming since after Covid for no particular reason. We came back for the first time in years, and were reminded how Outstanding the food is. You start off with the puffy bread. OMG!! The best bread ever. Comes out warm. Yummy. Then we had to get our favorite appetizer. It's Chef Rachid sampler platter and has a variety of mezzes. I highly recommend this appetizer to try different samplings of Turkish food. Be aware though, this sampler is eggplant heavy with 4 different preparations. All is delicious. 2 -3 types of hummus. The original is tasty, but we loved the beet one. See picture for the different samplings. For dinner, I had the branzino special; whole fish fillet. My husband had the half chicken. Both were delicious. Honestly the food is what you would expect in a high-end "chefy" restaurant - it was that well prepared with special spices. The vibe of this restaurant is very casual, with ceiling exposed with exhaust pipe running across. Seating is tight, especially for 2 people. Though the food is outstanding, we wouldn't bring out of town guests here who want to get a Naples experience. It would be great take-out however. They opened up a takeout counter since we were here last. Good idea. It was crowded the night we came, and have always been in prior years we have dined here. In future, we may just take-out if we can't get a table. The prices are reasonable. If they upgraded their dining decor, they could probably charge more. However, I don't think they are trying to compete with the 5th Avenue restaurants. For the most part, service was very good. Sophia was our waitress and she was exceptional. One of the waiters gave us a detailed explanation of each of the mezzes. The lady at the front desk reception was professional but not friendly. She sat us in a small 2 seater when there were open 4 tops. From a business perspective, I understand that they wanted to keep it open for guests with larger numbers than a couple. However, it makes dining not as comfortable. Overall, very good experience and will definitely come back. The food really is that good.
