The owner or manager came to our table between courses and checked on us. They have a beautiful patio in front that has a louvered ceiling. We have dined here multiple times now, first with a large group of extended family and subsequently in much smaller groups. Every time the service has been top-notch. What sets apart the service here, in my opinion, is that from the chef to the servers everyone is genuinely interested in you and providing an excellent and memorable dining experience. It shows. All of the dishes we've enjoyed at Mediterrano have been exquisite. I doubt you can go wrong ordering something that sounds good to you! The sea bass is probably my favorite, it is always cooked to perfection, never frozen, and the fresh and deliciously prepared accompaniments vary somewhat with the seasons. This makes each meal unique, and I quite like it. One last note, the baklava is absolutely delicious (not overwhelmingly sweet) and I will suggest that you consider it for your dessert. read more

A delectable, delightful experience. Excellent food, beautiful upside down hanging plants litter the entrance/outdoor seating. The Manager, Milos, top-notch, amazing, and a step above most. He was extremely attentive; too kind. The Dolmeh, Lamb meatballs, just delicious. The Branzino, spectacular, with a nice creamy risotto. This place was amazing. The service was the best. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and they seated us without a problem. The waiter was very helpful with our selections and they were absolutely wonderful. We had the Branzino and the Cioppino. Both were wonderful. They were aware we were celebrating our 49th anniversary and they surprised us with dessert of baklava, also wonderful and beautifully presented. Outstanding experience! From the moment we were seated by the lovely hostess to being greeted by our welcoming server, we knew we were in a special restaurant. They were professional, yet personable making sure we were competely happy with everything. The owner stopped over to make sure we had enjoyed our meals and we noticed him hands on with other patrons as well. The entire staff was happy and upbeat and it set the tone for a fabulous evening. The food was absolutely delicous...intense flavor and beautiful presentation. We had the shrimp and risotto, and the salmon special. Both had an abundance of vegetables, large portions of fish and fresh herbs. The wine and beer were priced fairly, and the pita bread and sauces which were served with our salad were warm and savory. We were impressed with the atmosphere which was lively, sophisticated and comfortable at the same time. The price point was very fair...our dishes were about $30 each, and well worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant. I made a reservation for 6:00 for a party of 3. four weeks in advance and requested outdoor seating. We arrived at the restaurant and checked in 15 minutes early and were told there would be a half hour to perhaps 45 minute wait. I checked back in a half hour later and was told the same thing, a half hour to 45 minute wait. I told the host again that I had a 6:00 reservation, his comment was "hey we have a lot of people booked for an outside table at 6:00 but we can squeeze you in inside." The place was packed, the tables were maybe arms length apart. No attempt at social distancing. People crowded sitting on benches out front waiting to get in. We finally left. I have no idea if the food was good or bad but the rest of the experience was the worse I have ever experienced. Why make a reservation and wait an hour and then be told it could be another 45 minutes to an hour. The only thing the Host could offer was go sit on the wooden bench on the sidewalk and we will call you when we are ready, or jam in the back of the restaurant sitting shoulder to shoulder with the other patrons. read more

My brother, mother and I came here for dinner last week. Naples is very busy this time of year. They honored our reservation quickly, the place was packed. I had the mussels w/ chorizo- tasty appetizer and Beef tangine. Mom had Lamb shank, brother had shrimp and garlic. The service was a tad slow at times but the food is packed with flavor. Appetizers very nice selection and unique. Entrees quite the selection from beef, chicken, lamb and seafood. I went to this restaurant while vacationing and for my husband's b-day. The service was good and the staff friendly. The manager was hands on helping everyone. The food was good. They have special dinner meals, which is nice. I don't think they are authentic Greek, per se' but my husband has the lamb and it was wonderful. I had the kebabs and it was tender. The place is good for a nice meal while on vacation. I told the waitress how good everything was and a lady next to me said she was a restaurant owner in the area, and wanted to know how come they have so much business. The person said he does his own thing and doesn't worry about other restaurants. I guess Naples is a small community and they can be a bit competitive? Anyhow... I found the food good but not 100% Greek if you are looking for that. But, good nonetheless. I had fun and it fills up quickly so get reservations. Great service and good. Gave us two free cordials for my husband's bday. Very nice. If you are on vacAtion here you will find the people and the food a nice dinner. I wanted to like this restaurant. It has received very good reviews. Tonight, maybe it was what we ordered, but it wasn't really up to its usual standards. It felt like whoever was running the kitchen was resting on its laurels. We ordered Saganaki. Normally when it's been flamed, at the end, the flame is extinguished by a lemon squeezed over it. Rather than that, we were told to just let the flame go out. Then, I ordered Cioppino. Mediocre at best. Small clams. Smaller calamari. Barely opened mussels. Just not inspired. This is a small often overlooked restaurant on 13th Ave., South in Naples. The food is all Mediterranean flavored with an excellent wine list, attentive service with the owner usually in house. My favorite is the watermelon/strawberry salad which is very light for this super hot weather we have. The lamb is also seasoned perfectly for the lamb tangine... extremely interesting cuisine. Literally the cutest, most zen decor....took me right back to Santorini. Hanging flower pots everywhere and beautiful, simple blue and white theme. Most of all though can we talk about how amazing the food is? We had the Mediterranean Sea Bass, lamb meatballs and horiatiki salad and all was superb.
