DELICIOUS!!! Absolutely delicious. The place is clean,…read moreorganized but the food is amazing!!! The chicken is freshly made - worth the wait. Great price for the combo plates. The baba ganoush is my favorite but the food was perfect! The woman was kind and attentive. Had asked her some questions about some dried herbs she had and she was patient in explaining. They had a sale of dried herbs for $1.50 which is cheap! They sell many other items that i dont know about lol

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in south county!…read more The food at Olives is delicious- especially the kofta and the beef/lamb gyro plates. Their baba ganoush is my personal favorite- I only wish they were a little more generous with the serving size! I also really appreciate that they offer smaller appetizers like lentil soup and samosas, which makes it easy to sample a few things or build a lighter meal. Everything is flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with care. When you walk in, you order and pay on a tablet, which is quick and convenient. They've messed up on my order once or twice, so it's worth double-checking your food, but it was never a big deal and definitely wouldn't stop me from returning. The restaurant setup is a bit unconventional: the seating consists of tables in the middle of a small market filled with imported goods. That being said, it's actually part of the charm and gives the place a cozy/casual vibe. Can't wait to come back!

Have been here multiple times and have enjoyed each visit We…read morewere there on a Thursday night and it wasn't too crowded which was nice and we found parking pretty easily which can sometimes be challenging in downtown Morgan Hill (but not as hard as finding parking in Willow Glen where there used to be an Opa) There is inside and outside seating and it was a bit chilly so we opted for indoors. They have booths but those were all taken so we sat at a table in the middle of the dining room. Have sat outside on a previous visit and it was lovely Ordered cocktails and the starters zucchini chips and the Greek fries. Both were very nice and tasty. The starters came out before the cocktails which is why 4 stars instead of 5 Dinner was 1)moussaka - this was prepared very nicely with a nice ratio of eggplant, meat and cheese 2) pasticio - we had never had this before and it was really good. The combination of the beef and lamb was delicious 3) lemon chicken & orzo - this is prepared in a signature Opa lemon marinade which was refreshing and comfort food all in one. The orzo was such a great combination with the chicken Roman was our server. He was very pleasant and funny. We enjoyed conversation and he was very attentive throughout the meal and filled our water frequently.

Restaurant is clean as well as the restrooms. There's a huge parking lot close by. It's in the heart of downtown area. The service is great! All staffs are friendly and accommodating. The foods were good especially the chicken that my hubby and friend ordered as well as our appetizers, the Greek nachos. But I didn't like the moussaka that I ordered. It was super dry, and a bit salty and doesn't have enough eggplants and bechamel cheese. I have to say this is not authentic moussaka. We love Greek and Mediterranean foods and have been to many authentic Greek restaurants and had that even in Greece so there's a night and day difference.

I asked if they could make a fresh one without beans, but they couldn't. I tried them anyway -- they were okay, but nothing special. I don't like "fusion" food; pupusas are delicious just the way they are. For the price and what you get, I don't think they're worth it. For price and flavor, I'd give them a 4/10. If you know pupusas, you know what I mean -- the meat was shredded, not the typical mix. Hopefully Bay FC steps up their pupusa game. Response to pupusa lady Thanks for letting me know. Just to clarify, I meant pre-mix, not pre-made. I was mainly disappointed about the fact that they couldn't make one without beans since everything was already mixed. Bay FC really shouldn't be charging you a fee just for working the game either -- that doesn't seem right. Then passing the higher price to the consumer.I do stand on my 4/10 rating for flavor.

The pupusa's were unusual than any item of food of its similar kind but they were approximately 3 to 4 inches in diameter and with no frills/no extras. Then last night at the Day on the Ridge event in Eagle Ridge, the Papusa Lady's food truck was present and the experience far surpassed my first one. The pupusa was approximately 5 to 6 inches in diameter and was accompanied by a small container of sour cream (enough to smear on the entire pupusa), hot sauce, an amazingly tasting of some type of flavored rice with cilantro, and a delicious (and also unique tasting) coleslaw - all for only $10!! Excellent experience which I'm very thankful for. Kudos to the Pupusa Lady's food truck last night.

First of all Fabiola... what a wonderful experience you gave me as a first timer! Thank you for the…read moretop notch service. I came into the restaurant asking how long my order would take, she said 10 minutes. Although there were chairs and tables under an eave, I chose to go to the car. Faviola brought the food to me and it was sprinkling outside! She even came back and gave us extra utensils when she realized there were two of us. All the while smiling:) I ordered via yelp because we were starving and easily this restaurant has their menu in organized and visually appealing. Their descriptions and the variety of selections and customizations on point. My husband said he wasn't hungry but then saw the food and we scarfed it all down. He gave it 8.5 and said would come back. I ordered pickled vegetables which I thought was going to be onions but I think it's actually cabbage. Not my preference so I will take that home to the parents. Did order yogurt dip- husband was a fan. The chicken thigh and filet were so tender. I had put a note on the order for medium rare. I wouldn't call that medium rare but it was tender nonetheless. I'm sad I had to pay extra for a half of a Roma tomato, salad and lavash- the lavash I saw it in the add-ons menu so I assumed it wasn't in there. Ended up with so much lavash. No need to buy extra. The entire thing came up to $63-ish. The food was 4/5 but service was 5/5! I know this economy has everyone struggling. This was probably the most I have spent on Mediterranean food. I would have expected $45-$50. We just came back from Turkey so this would have costed us $15-$20 USD. Portions for rice and meat were good though! All in all- would come back!
