I could compare it to a teaspoon of salt and they would break even. Not sure what took place in that kitchen, but I literally could not eat it. The chicken was also very dry. The staff informed me that this restaurant has been in operation for a year. I was unaware of its existence and make an effort to stay informed about the restaurants in town. I only heard about the place through word of mouth, but now that I've experienced their offerings firsthand, I've become a regular customer.

These folks were great. Just great. We threw a combination birthday and anniversary party for about 25 people (though the minimum order is 40, which makes sense given that they have to make it worth their while to drive out). We wanted tasty tacos, yes, but we also wanted very little fuss. And we got both. It was amazing how low-key excellent Sabrina and Emmanuel were. They showed up with plenty of time to set up and prepare. I checked in on them periodically to see if they needed anything like an extension cord, lighting, tables, plates / napkins / utensils. Nothing! They had it all under control! Every time I stopped by to see how it was going, there was more done--cook station setup, then serving tables, then covers and decorations, and then right on time they simply let me know dinner is ready. The food was great and plentiful. We ordered an extra aqua fresca (so one horchata and one watermelon), elotes, quesadillas, and of course the made-to-order tacos. It was really quite a relief to see that they had thought of everything, and I really didn't need to pay attention to making sure all was as advertised. They had it all well in hand. Toward the end of the service they let me know when to announce final call (which I did, but so many of the guests had already gone back for seconds that there were very few takers at that point). Then they started to clean up and pack everything. Just as during setup, there was absolutely no drama, just friendly efficiency. They packaged up the remaining food and left it for us in clean, strong containers. After packing up, the space where they were set up was clean, with no stray napkins, wrappers, utensils, or food drippings for me to clean up. I would contract with Top Tier again, with no worries at all. Seriously, looking at the Yelp reviews, people sounded a bit over the top with the praise. Seriously, Top Tier deserves every bit of it. read more

We recently hired Top Tier Tacos to cater a company event for 150 people, and they absolutely blew us away! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Emanuel and Diego were incredibly professional, clean, communicative, respectful, and honest throughout the entire event. They arrived on time, set up beautifully, and kept their station immaculate. The decorations looked fantastic and really added a great vibe to our event, while the food itself was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. What stood out to me the most was their incredible integrity. Toward the end of the event, I told Emanuel and Diego they didn't need to bother cooking the rest of the leftover tortillas because I figured no one would eat them. Instead of taking the easy way out and packing up early, they looked at me and honestly said, "This is what you paid for." They insisted on preparing everything we ordered and made sure we kept all of our leftover plates, napkins, and utensils. It's rare to find that level of honesty and dedication to customer satisfaction these days. They even packed up the aqua frescas for us in individual containers! If you are looking to host an event--large or small--do yourself a favor and hire Top Tier Tacos. Bonus if Emanuel and Diego are serving you; they will take phenomenal care of you! Not only is their food top-notch, but their attention to detail in both setup and presentation truly sets them apart from any other vendor I've seen. I've enjoyed their tacos at various events, including a baby shower, a company gathering, and a friend's birthday. But this past September, I had the pleasure of hiring them for my own wedding, and they exceeded all expectations. Our guests were blown away by how elegant and formal the setup looked--definitely not what you expect from typical taco catering. Plus, everyone raved about how delicious the al pastor and other dishes were. We hired Top Tier Tacos for my daughter's wedding on 9/27/25 (with a 150 guests) and they were great. Set up was so nice, even though we wanted a more casual and fun dinner such as a Taco Truck, the photos of their set up was one of the main reasons we selected them and they did not disappoint. Food was fresh and delicious and we had more than enough. They also provided tons of guacamole which I really appreciated as most taco places are more skimpy on the guac. They arrived early, had a gorgeous set up, the food was amazing and at the end the leftovers were packed up and left in the kitchen without me having to worry about a thing. From start to finish she was super easy to communicate with both via phone and text . She took the time to ask questions and understand my vision for the party and worked with me to make it happen. She was even able to provide me with contacts for certain items I was looking for and couldn't find. She stopped by prior to the event for a walk through to see the location and ensure set up logistics and anything I hadn't thought about. Day of Angela and her Husband and the Califass Street Taquiza Team arrived early and quickly set up and transformed the catering area into a beautiful buffet. Her Staff was super friendly and professional. I received numerous compliments from my guests not only for the great tasting tacos, food, and aqua frescas but for how beautiful their set up was. I was actually able to sit down and enjoy my event confidently knowing that everything was taken care of. By the end of my event Angela felt more like a Family Member whom I've known for years.
