    Birria Breakfast Burrito

I was stressed when I first walked up. There are so many great breakfast options, I wanted to order one of each. My heart chose the Birria Breakfast burrito with quac, pickled onions, red salsa and green salsa - yes you need to get both salsas, both are bomb. It was easy to order on their little kiosk and didn't have to wait long Yummy yum yum

ONE OF THE BEST FOOD TRUCKS My husband and I ordered the birria fires and birria nachos. It's honestly the best we ever had! The ordering process was easy. You just order on the device at the window. The service was also quick and friendly. The ambiance was great. The truck was parked in front of Camino Coffee in Gilroy. There was plenty of seating and shade. We will definitely be back again!

Decided to give this place a shot after a few hours of working from inside Camino Coffee and WOWWWW. I was honestly blown away. I ordered the quesabirria quesadilla and they also generously gave me a taco to sample as well. I took ONE bite and texted everyone I know in Gilroy to come check this spot out. Loving the food trucks that have made their way to town and La Patrona is now very high on my list. Thanks La Patrona!

This food truck slaps. The Birria tastes fantastic. I loved the quesibirria pizza. Was a good price to feed a few friends! The staff was really friendly and helpful with questions too! Do yourself a favor and hit up the best Birria spot in Southbay!

We caught the food truck when it stopped by our apartment complex! We were interested by the horchata special but just ended up getting 3 quesabirria tacos to share. They make their birria with beef and it's slow cooked and then cheese added to form a taco. The meat is super tender and flavorful and I love the crunch of the tortillas. We were a bit disappointed that it didn't come with consommé but the salsa verde was pretty good and had a nice kick to it.

BEST FOOD TRUCK IN THE GILROY/MORGAN HILL AREA Everything is perfectly authentic and delicious here. Both quality and presentation are top notch. My favorite is the avocado toast with egg on top :) Not to mention, great and quick service as well. Kevin and Brandon are awesome Can't express how badly I recommend!

We just flew in to San Francisco from Georgia, going to SLO. Passing through Gilroy, I looked on yelp for some good Mexican food, and La Patrona popped up with a high rating. We stopped and had their cucumber juice, and I forgot the name of this taco with steak, cactus, rice, beans salsa.. OMG!!! Delicious they also let us try a free biria taco, had to get another one!!! Their food is the best I have taste in a good while. The customer service was A+. If you're in Gilroy or near Gilroy it's a MUST you stop. They close at 3:00 so get there early!! They won't disappoint.

Stumbled across this truck after dinner and on the way to get some boba. It was located outside Taplands bar in Santa Clara on a Friday. We tried one quesabirria taco and birria fries, both were delicious. I do wish the taco was crunchy, but that's just a personal preference. The fries were fried well, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The menu is digital with QR code, would love to try more items next time on an empty stomach. Service was good and food was cooked to order, would recommend!

We absolutely loved the Birra Grilled Cheese, hardy, enough to spilt. The person taking our order was very friendly!

Awesome food truck! Tried them when they were outside Taplands in Santa Clara. They even decorated for Christmas. Had the chicken flautas and they were very tasty! Would track them down again, but hopefully they'll be back in the area.

Top-notch food truck. Staff are friendly and attentive and buzz around like bees inside the food truck. The menu is focused but offers enough to please any palate. Two couples shared this order. The wait was 15 to 20 minutes, as promised. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The torta was humongous both in size and flavor; one torta is enough for two people! The fries were sinfully large and equally delicious. Oh, and the tacos...OMG. Blue corn tortillas with an extra layer of charred cheese wrapper. There was layer up on layer of flavor with just the right amount of spice. The four of us were very satisfied.

Best Quesabirria in town hands down! I've been ordering from la patron since covid and it's just consistently good food.

Nachos were fantastic. We also got a birria taco which was great too. Pretty tough to beat a night out with drinks and a taco truck.

Excellent flavor for the Huarache. Flavorful salsas. I had to order food to take home on my way back to the East Bay.

Service was good, but they were down a server so a bit slow. First red flag were the chips, which were stale, not crunchy or crispy. I could fold the chips in half. Also ordered a Diet Coke and a Modelo. Diet Coke was brought out in a can with no glass or ice, no glass for the beer either. At home, maybe, but would expect more at a restaurant. Ordered the chicken cheese quesadilla, Carne Asada super burrito, and a regular Carne Asada burrito. The chicken in the cheese quesadilla was a bit hard, reminiscent of leftover chicken that has been sitting for a while. Regular burrito was good, plenty of meat, beans and rice. Super burrito was mostly filled with rice and beans, not much meat. The waitress was very nice, however the food left much to be desired. Unfortunately, search for it go to Mexican restaurant in Gilroy continues.

Lots of fun ornaments on this tree. Walked up to the counter to place our order and the lady helping us was very welcoming and friendly. We orderd a plater with carnitas and one with carne asada. They both came with fried beans, mexican rice, salad, and corn tortillas. The food was good, however, I feel the recipe has changed or the cook is someone differnt as the flavor of the carnitas is not as before in the past visits here. I remember the carnitas having a almost sticky consistancy with more seasoning. In my opinion the flavor and texture have deffinatly changed.

I tried the location in San Jose as well but this one is better. Rice was perfect and beans was ok. Nacho was good too but could have had more cheese. The chips held up well probably because we ask for the salsa on the side so it wouldn't get soggy. Will have to come back again when we are out in Gilroy.

There's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but no one came out to seat us and a group of people walked past us to go inside, were sat right away. A girl who sat us ended up being our server but took a very long time for her to come back out to even take our drink orders. I had to ask the guy bringing water and tortilla chips who our server was. Once our server arrived she was very nice and answered our menu questions. I ordered the the spicy Mamacita and my friend ordered the pina colada. Both drinks looked cool but mine was very sweet, not really spicy at all and was tiny for $15. I think I mostly paid for the presentation part...flower, popsicle, etc. We both ordered the 3 taco trio and the food came out before long. I had a mahi mahi, carne asada and a taco macho. Again, the food wasn't that great: rice and beans had an off flavor, octopus was chewy in the taco macho, and the mahi was a bit fishy. We took half our food to go and checked out. All in all I would not come back unless it was out of convenience due to the location. The food and drinks have a nice presentation, but the taste of everything wasn't there for me. Although our server was really nice and my friend and I were busy chatting, the service was slow.
