Went to Medieval Times with a group of colleagues for a work event. We wanted to make a few memories and thought that it would be fun to try something different. The event was fun but a little loud because of several groups of school events. The food was okay though at my age I really like silverware. Guess I would not have enjoyed the Middle Ages. The service was quick and friendly especially with such a large crowd. The knights were impressive and we all enjoyed the jousting.

Listen: is this expensive? Yes. Is this a BLAST? YES. Remember that you're playing for dinner a a show. And what a show it is. You're screaming, you're cheering, laughing, and being shocked by the drama unfolding live in front of you. You have a bar maiden bringing a sheet pan of chickens to you! Light up beer! Succulent corn! This is a hoot. We paid for the queens upgrade and it was so worth it. We were rink side and it was so fun. We got priority seating, a pennant to wave for our knight, and it was just such a fun time. Everything about here is just so great. Service. Vibes. Everything is just top notch. You have to come at least once.

HUZZAH BLUE KNIGHT! With Medieval Times trending right now, my friends and I knew we had to go on our weekend trip up to Maryland for the Ren Faire. We dressed up for our Medieval Time fun. It's located in a mall, so there was plenty of free parking. I bought our tickets ahead of time so all we had to do was show the confirmation email at check-in to get our tickets. We waited in very short lines and were given crowns for the knight we were rooting for. It was BUSY. They had us go to a corner to take a photo then we were free to explore. We got there pretty close to show time, so the medieval emcee was already speaking from above. He gave clear instructions on what we were and weren't allowed to do as well as how to find our seats. I was so happy that we were given a row in front. This is true entertainment and a show. I brought some plastic utensils because I had read somewhere that they didn't offer any, but turns out we were offered that that evening. I'm still glad I brought it because they went by pretty quickly. The servers here are INCREDIBLE. They work quick and carry very heavy things. I was in awe of their flow. Everything was very organized and felt thoughtfully planned out. There are tons of add-ons you can purchase before or during your time here. We decided to purchase some wine and a friend of mine got a souvenir cup. My gluten-free friend had an easy time enjoying her meal too. She was given veggies instead of the bread roll and Italian ice instead of an eclair. My friends loved the dragon's blood (tomato soup). And the food servings here are HUGE. We got half a rotisserie chicken. They put on a really fun show. With falconry, horse tricks, jousting, sword fighting, and a fun cheesy 90s medieval movie plot. These people are skilled performers. Do note that it gets incredibly loud because of the microphones on performers and the cheering. I think us being in front and our knight winning made the evening extra special. The only reason this is four instead of five stars is because I found myself worrying about the horses A LOT. I was not anticipating that. Their website does mention all the detailed care they do for the horses. I am not sure why I felt so conflicted, but this affected my evening a little bit. Overall, I still had a great time with my friends and enjoyed the show!

Hummus and veggies (very good!) and garlic bread.

My partner and I came here years ago with our kids, and now twice on our own on New Years Eves. It's a fun, family-friendly experience with decent food and hardworking and friendly Staff. If you are in the right mindset for a silly, entertaining evening of being called lord/lady and eating with your hands, it's fun. The horse work and choreography of the sword activity was fun to watch, and the performers were very enthusiastic and connected well with the audience. The food is good, too (what we ate - more about that later). Everyone got a cup of tomato soup, a half chicken, garlic bread, a half baked potato and a small piece of ear of buttered corn. And a dessert of a piece of cake and a chocolate eclair. Plenty to eat. I was impressed by the large serving of chicken. One thing I will caution you about is if you request a special meal. When I purchased the tickets, I reached out via email and told them we wanted a special meal. On the website, they proudly describe in detail 9 different special meals (gluten free, onion free, garlic free, etc). They said by email that they would make a note of it on our reservation and that we should alert our server. When we arrived tonight and checked in, we told the person we had requested "onion free" (the closest I could find to low fat and low salt). He looked like he didn't know what I was talking about and asked a supervisor. He then handed me two "special meal" tickets and told me to discuss with the server. We told the server that we wanted "onion free", but were really concerned with fat and salt. She said she'd let the kitchen know. I told her that the onion free came with fresh fruit instead of the soup. She said they didn't have fresh fruit, but offered us fresh veggies with hummus. She said she could get us plain chicken, but the potato and corn would be as it is normally served. (The special meal says they offer plain baked potato without butter/salt or other toppings.). Anyway, we agreed that we would take the meal as it is usually offered except for the chicken. I ate the corn but not the potato (because of salt/toppings). When everyone in our row was being served their chicken, she told us the kitchen forgot to make our chicken. So she offered us another round of veggies and hummus while we waited. (The hummus and veggies were very good both times!). A supervisor came a while later and said with an apology that the kitchen only made one chicken, not two. We said we would wait. After more time passed and everyone else was finishing their dessert, the chef came by and said it would be a few more minutes and asked if we wanted it "to go" (the show was almost over). We said we would eat it there and he apologized. The chicken came and it was overall moist, but parts very dry. The point of the story is - be aware if you order a special meal that they talk a good game on the website, but things really went sideways in practice tonight. My partner and I agreed that if we each had ordered a regular meal, it would have been fine. But we didn't, relying on the great detail and confidence they express on the website about providing special meals. I'd give the place 4 or 5 stars if we had ordered a regular meal. It's a fun place, you get to eat with your hands, and everyone is working hard and very pleasant. But, I will admit that it was pretty stressful waiting for our meal, with people coming over and apologizing first for forgetting to make it, then for making only one, asking us whether we would be satisfied with sharing only one meal, and then suggesting that it was so late that we probably should just take the meal home. But they were very apologetic. I have to review and give points based on my experience, not what my experience would have been if I had ordered a regular meal. So, 3 stars. It's a shame.

We went here for a friends bday and it did not disappoint! The food was seasoned and had great flavor. The seer staff was amazing, shoutout to Garrett who worked on 5-3-25. He was our serf and was funny and welcoming. This was my first show and i loved it! Can't wait to go back. The best part was meeting the knights after the show, they were all super nice and chill. Go team Blue!!

I came for a matinee performance with my ENTIRE school. You read that right. 750 pre-k through 5th graders(minus about 30 that didn't turn in their permission slips). It was a wild time. Probably the best field trip I've ever gone on as a chaperone. Of course we had some wait time, and three of my group got table number cards for a different table, but still with a teacher from my school. There were other schools there, but when the announcer called out our school name, the stadium erupted with cheer! The students and I loved seeing the knights and horses up close. I did knock a star off as another reviewer did because sometimes the sound was a bit muffled and hard to make out, especially during the trivia questions. Food was good. The students around me were eating their chicken with their hands. I had the vegetarian stew which was like vegetarian chili, and it was quite good. The corn was also very good not mushy like you get when you go to some places where they make it in bulk. We made it out intact; didn't lose any students in the crowd. I'm sure they will remember this field trip for a long time.

This place was a trip...also a scam but a good one. It's actually really fun and I had a great time. I think the show is a little long. I walked out at the end because I was over it. If they cut 10-15 minutes it would be perfect. The show is entertaining though. I loved seeing the horses and the falcon. I went in with no idea of what to expect, so that also helped. Drinks were surprisingly good though they veered on the sweeter side. Food wasn't bad. I enjoyed my chicken, potato, and corn on the cob and I was full after. Everyone is excited to be here so the place has a lot of energy. All of the staff were really upbeat and kind, which I guess you have to be if you work here. Service was great. We were celebrating a birthday, as were many others, and they do a good job with the birthdays. If you don't mind the expense, it's definitely very fun and I'd go back if someone wanted to experience it.

Truly one of the silliest experiences I've done and I recommend anyone looking for a fun adventure a chance to go here. They just updated their show and tickets were about $60 for me (used a promo code like bday25), but you're paying for an experience. The show was so fun, swept with different opposing factions, betrayal, and 11/10 combat. It was riveting to watch the men joust and battle and they really got into it. My one suggestion was that it was hard to hear what the king and queen were saying at times. I know you're not going to medieval times for the food but what would a yelp review be without a description of it. We got garlic bread which was that frozen Texas toast you'd expect, tomato soup which was quite watery, chicken that was extremely moist and really seasoned well, a side of potatoes and corn (standard), and we got an eclair (it was the frozen ones I used to have as a child but it was oof). Perfect kind of place to go to with family or with friends as a silly adventure or celebration.

Gorgeous falcon girl meet and greet after the show.

We had such a fun time tonight at Medieval Times. Our server was impressively strong and our knight was the heel of the story, which was just plain fun. Yeah, long lines, but I feel that should be expected. What I didn't expect was to (for the most part) to actually really enjoy our meal. It's not 5 star dining, but it was fresh, easy, and well prepared. I actually quite liked the chicken! At the end of the night we made a last minute souvenir purchase and the employee went out of her way to offer to wrap our drink glasses and bag them for us which made getting to the car much easier! Only con was parking. Get there early!

I had such a beautiful experience! The whole show is magical!! The horses are so cute and it is such a fun experience for the whole family. Definitely the place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. They have a full bar and shops to match with the whole ambiance. The staff is so friendly and welcoming Coming back really soon!!

Tomato Bisque: I brought my own spoon. This is the perfect accompaniment to the garlic toast already in my belly and not pictured.

We "JOUST" got back from another wonderful "KNIGHT OUT" at Medieval Times, Baltimore Castle. I have been here a handful of times before, and each time, we are never disappointed. This place has plenty of FREE and available mall PARKING which is a special treat! I hate the thought of paying for parking, always have. But here, you don't have to worry about that! I remember back to the first time I came here, (many years ago) and my sister told me, "just arrive with no expectations and to be prepared to not take anything too seriously!" This is probably my 4th visit to this same castle and I still heed the same advice, it's more fun that way! Price of admission has gone up since I can remember, but it wasn't in upwards of over $80 per adult ticket (after taxes & fees) like it is today so be prepared for sticker shock! The menu is the same as I remember. It always includes a starter tomato bisque, garlic toast, small 1/2 chicken with barely there breast meat, a 1/2 corn on the cob, and a seasoned, roasted potato wedge. Except for a rotation of desserts where it all depends on kitchen stock, as tonight, we each got one small chocolate eclair. I'm not a fan of eclairs, so I did not even touch it. But everything else on my plate was as expected given the mass quantities that needed to be prepared and served. Oh, I need to remind you, to further mimic times of medievalness, this place does not include silverware, so I packed my own plastic ware, courtesy of Sheets (thank you) the gas station/convenience store chain that I stopped at during my latest roadtrip! If you came ill prepared, like the rest of populace in the colosseum-type building, word on the street is that you can always ask your server, the females are called "Wenches" and they will eventually bring you your set of silverware. I chose to pack my own! But you do you, boo! The current storyline is a little over one year old across all the castles nationwide. But it takes time to write the scripts, cast the characters, and train everybody and the horses! It's a huge production, I'd say. Although new to me, this show seems to be more similar than unique to what I've experienced in the past, but the experience is always so different. At the box office, you get assigned a color and that is where you are to be seated and that is your knight cheering squad for the evening. The available colors are Green, Red&Yellow, Blue, Black&White, and Red. Tonight, we were assigned to Black& White! Yay! There is so much for the senses during this dinner and show. You get to meet the King & Queen of the castle, there is a dancing/prancing horse segment, and there is also falconry. In between the eating and the cheering and the "sporting" events, there are a couple of light moments where your knight get to personally hand out (by way of tossing into the stands) carnations to various people in the audience, my guess is the demographic that receives them are always young girls from toddler to young adult years. As history would repeat itself, my daughter was lucky to receive another carnation tonight as well! I think this small gesture is the best and I hope they never do away with this part of the show! My favorite part of the show is the jousting and the choreographed fight scenes. I never tire of them! It seems like every show, there is a different knight that comes out the sole victor, and tonight is the Red Knights turn to shine. At the end of the evening, I love that gratuities could be paid via Venmo or Ca$hApp, this way, they are not taxed. ‍ At the end of the night, all the knights in the show came out for photo ops and meet & greets! My party of three exited the castle two hours later, with bellies full, and fully satisfied with another wonderful "knight" out. I think everyone should experience this merriment of carelessness eating enjoyment with our hands and jovial tournament viewing at least once! Oh, they provided wet wipes for your hands before and after your eating enjoyment. I'm a fan! #mtfan

Having never been to Medieval Times and not sure what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by all of it. The overall experience was very enjoyable. The theater performance was really great and you can tell that alot goes into making the show a success. The meal... so much food! No utensils, be prepared to eat with your hands as they did in Medieval Times. Everything was tasty and seasoned well. A 1/2 chicken! So much meat! I couldn't quite finish all my food and they do offer a to go box. The corn and chicken were probably my best items. The 4 vs 5 stars is due to the temperature in the main room. It was very warm and took me a long time to get comfortable. Additionally, the seats are very close together and can make it challenging to eat. I'd like to recommend they put an open seat between parties/groups to help with that a bit. Definitely worth going!

We had the opportunity to select our mystery based on the number of participants. We opted to do a one actor mystery centering around a masquerade ball. The actor arrived early to our private venue with such a fun and positive attitude. He took the time to understand our dynamics which was helpful in designating who would play which roles. We were provided props that included costumes and information about the role we were chosen to play. Please note, we are a chatty, free spirited group of ladies that love to fellowship. The actor managed to go with the flow and keep us somewhat focused and on mission...which was to solve the murder. We had a five-star good time. We all left with plans to do it again. The entry process into the venue was really straight forward and smooth - we arrived about 40 minutes ahead of the concert and were led very quickly to our seats at the bar. They were very well prepared for the event - there were alot of staff, bartenders, and waiters catering to guests needs. The food and drink options were really nice. I had the burger, which was GREAT, and my girlfriend had the brisket sandwich which she really enjoyed too. The fries might've been the highlight of the meal though; they were wonderfully seasoned and fresh. I kept it simple with a bottled beer and she had a reisling - no complaints at all on our drinks. Shoutout to our bartender; she was very attentive even though the space was completely sold out. I like that the majority of the seats in the venue have at least a partial view of the stage. For those seats that are out of stage view, there are plenty of TV screens scattered around and above the bar to give everyone a chance at viewing the stage. I do think that the sound quality could be improved - we sat a little ways away from stage and definitely fought through some distorted or unclear sound. Maybe a speaker or two in the back of the venue would help. Perhaps it was because Destin's show was very popular, but we had ALOT of trouble buying our tickets online. Their site stalled or crashed several times while we were trying to purchase tickets. Would've loved to have a smoother purchase experience. OVERALL: The music is great, the vibe is great, the service and food are fine. It's just all about the ambiance at the tables (which is the entire club) and talent on stage! The tricky thing with venues that have a minimum order requirement is I feel compelled to rate them also then on what they're making you do, not just what the venue's real heart and soul is about. FOOD AND SERVICE: I've been here a few times now and the food and service are consistently 3 stars. It's a limited menu with entrées averaging around $30, apps and cocktails generally about $15. Some of what comes out doesn't actually match the description on the menu, which is further disappointment. But that's not why you go: It's all about the ambiance and the jazz music. I've been to some venues that require a minimum order and some that don't. My biggest issue is if it's a rule, it NEEDS to be communicated when you're paying for your tickets. It's currently not, and that's one of my biggest gripes. We first found out about this req only after paying $200+ for our non-refundable tickets, specifically, at our table when we opened our menus to order. (We'd bought 4 tickets as a gift; our friends were on a budget; and half of us weren't drinking, so we'd just planned to share an appetizer or two. None of us walked in expecting to drop an extra $40/person--an unpleasant surprise.) FYSA they also have a silence policy during shows, so if you want to chat, plan to arrive in advance of the show. Wasn't an issue for us and is very reasonable to expect, but noting here since it's also not actually mentioned on the website, and if you're new to the scene, you may not realize that. Just another helpful note to know before you go!
