    My Tesla wall charger
    Angie M.

We needed an electric charger installed at home for our Tesla. Mecc Electric came out promptly and did a stellar job. The fee was more than fair and the most reasonable compared to the few others I had shopped. What made our choice easy was Meccan's responsiveness, professionalism, and he educated me on what he would be doing throughout the entire process from start to finish. He even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was working fine and that we were happy with our install. We were beyond satisfied and have been referring people to him ever since for big & small jobs. My referrals thank me for giving a trusted recommendation. He's licensed and insured so he backs all of his work, that was another point of reassurance. You won't be disappointed about supporting this local, small business.

Very good at responding, very friendly and a very fair price. Installed a 220 volt outlet for my EV. Would use again.

Meccan didn't just replace the outdated panel--he also relocated it, which is no small task in an older home.

I got three bids from highly rated companies and Kensington electric was my clear choice based on their detailed inspection and thoughtful plan for the rewire. These older homes present challenges and mine was no different. When you start tracing back old wiring on a vintage house that has had multiple owners, you always run into complication from past remodels and work done by previous contractors. Joe and his guys worked through these issues, figured out solutions and options and completed the work with precision. They work hard and are always on time and professional. Joe has been in this business a long time and brings a level of wisdom to the game that will help you solve problems such as how best to future-proof your house, where to best set up security cameras and what color temperatures work best for specific lighting. He answers his phone when you call and is always attentive and focused on customer service. Kensington Electric checks every box. I'm so impressed!

Julian came right out and did a review of things that I was looking to have done. They initially replaced one outlet and then I scheduled a circuit breaker upgrade with labeling on the panel. When I asked how long the power would be off, I was told the job would take 4 to 6 hours which I planned for.Their "technician, " Danielle arrived on time and was pleasant. After having to leave to retrieve supplies from the store, the actual Work took about an hour and then it took about another 30 minutes or so to label the panel. Our quote included "precise", labeling of the panel. Unfortunately, their "technician" said he didn't have any labeling and used a blue piece of painters tape to write the descriptions on. They were very detailed. I reached out to Kensington to let them know I didn't think paying for precise labeling included labeling with blue tape. They sent out a technician the next day who had some labels with him and attempted to label the panel. Unfortunately, some of his labeling was different from what was on the blue tape. He seemed a bit confused about how to label things. I did reach back out to Kensington to let them know what had transpired. I understand their quotes include a flat rate, but when you're quoted for something that is expected to take 4 to 6 hours that actually only takes an hour it kind of makes you wonder. My review is not to recommend or not recommend, but just to share my experience. Like I said, they were responsive to my concerns. However, they weren't able to make them satisfactory.

Throughout the entire process, his communication was excellent. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what was going on. It's hard to find contractors who are this responsive and reliable these days. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable electrician who truly cares about his customers, I highly recommend Romo. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and would absolutely recommend him to anyone in San Diego County.

His bank kept rejecting my payments and I ended up having to pay his wife's zelle account (??)  Long version: Romo took almost 2 months to complete my project of replacing the subpanel, adding a 20 amp circuit, and repairing any damaged drywall. He and his team cancelled/ no showed on my tenant more than 5 times and was super unresponsive when scheduling. My tenant had to live in a home with holes in the walls for almost a full month before it was finally repaired. The business operates very shadily. I have asked for a receipt for my payment numerous times, and he still has not provided one. I had to pay him in 3 separate transactions via zelle because his bank kept rejecting my payments. I'm not sure how this business has a 4.8 rating on Yelp, but will not be trusting those reviews from now on.

Service Pro ultimately got the job because the quote was fast, the price was competitive, and their professionalism stood out. Mike provided two detailed, itemized quotes--including specifics like wire gauge and breaker size--so I knew exactly what was included. Other quotes I received were far less transparent, which would have required a lot more back-and-forth. When we ran into equipment constraints related to my older electrical panel, Mike offered thoughtful options and worked within the panel's safety limits rather than immediately pushing an expensive upgrade. Nate, Jeffrey, and Brock completed the installation. They were fast, professional, and very clean in their work, neatly hiding the conduit and load-management equipment and making sure everything was working before they left. Highly recommend Service Pro.

After getting multiple estimates, Service Pro Electrical's quote came in about $1,200 lower than another contractor we had considered, while still providing outstanding quality and service. Mike, the owner, and his colleague Jeff arrived right on time, were professional, courteous, and extremely efficient. They completed the job ahead of schedule, thoroughly tested every circuit to make sure everything was working properly, and left the work area clean. Their workmanship and attention to detail gave us complete confidence that the job was done right. We also want to thank Mike for referring us to Tommy for the drywall repair. Tommy's estimate was also lower than another drywall contractor we contacted. He was professional, respectful, did an excellent job repairing the wall, and cleaned up so well that you would never know such a major repair had been done. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Service Pro Electrical for electrical work and truly appreciate Mike's recommendation of Tommy for the drywall repair. Both provided exceptional value, quality workmanship, and outstanding customer service.
