We hired this company to help us find a rodent in our home. The exterminator who also claimed to be an owner pulled our dishwasher out forcefully and ripped the drain hose. He initially blamed the rodent for chewing through but then later admitted it was probably him and offered to make it right after we got a quote to fix it. However, will not return calls or texts now. Their initial charge was outrageous for not doing much, and now we need to pay quite a bit to fix our dishwasher. BEWARE!!! We paid MeanGreen $500 to eradicate a small bedbug infestation and had them out to spray pesticides three times with no success. After each visit, I was still getting bit every night and there was no reduction in the number or frequency of bites. They say they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee but that is not true. They refuse to refund our money because they say we didn't try long enough. At some point you have to draw the line, and after four weeks of getting bit, we sought out a different and more effective treatment. The guys from MeanGreen will tell you many times that it's a process and to be patient. We never expected the bugs to be instantly gone, but we did expect to see a decrease in the frequency of bites, which never happened in the four weeks that we dealt with Mean Green. Super nice guys until you're dissatisfied with their service. In addition to the chemicals not working, one of them triggered debilitating migraines for me for the first time in my life and I've been having them for the past 2 1/2 weeks. The initial migraine was so bad that I had to miss three days of work and I've sought medical care twice now for the pain. I would like to know why we were never informed of the risks of having these chemicals in our home. I had no clue that something this bad could legally be sprayed in our home. If I can get sick, someone who is healthy and was a non-migraine sufferer, then it could happen to any of you. After finding out first hand that the pesticides are ineffective, we hired a different company to heat our whole house up to 140F in order to kill the bugs instantly. I am completely shocked that someone would think they would give less than quality service or steal. When I know they're coming I don't even stay anymore I go on all of my errands and leave the money for them. They are even fantastic with my wild puppy I have LOL. Their bait keeps the mice away and I even had some rodents in the yard but I have never seen any in my house and I live in the front range. If you should be so unfortunate to aquire bed bugs DON'T CALL THESE GUYS. Back in October, we found bed bugs in my son's room. I called and spoke with Victor and he told me they could come out that next day for $400 and a 90 day guarantee. He assured me he'd be able to get rid of them. He told me no need to move furniture or anything that they'd take care of that. All I needed to do was wash all our clothes, bed sheets, linens etc. GREAT! or so I thought. Over the 90 day period either Victor or Joel would come and spray just about every 3 weeks. To no avail. Ive done everything you are supposed to do in between treatments (ie. Vaccuming daily, washing sheets every few days, mattress and box spring protectors etc) even though when I asked them what things i should be doing, they told me "nothimg. You can live life like you normally would") This last time they came, my sofa got ripped when they flipped it and they didn't even bother to tell me when he texted me to tell me he was done. When I got home and I contacted them, Joel basically put it off on me that it was my fault because I didn't flip my own couches even though I was told not to. That was the last I have heard from them. I have called and called because the problem seems to be worse than it was when this whole thing started. No one will return my calls. It's funny how at the end of my 90 days, they just dropped me. In hindsight, I should've known. $400 for bed bug remediation is low. And no written prep instructions were ever given to me which after doing my own research am finding odd. The guys were nice enough to begin with (the only reason for the one star) but I still have the problem and now I have to pay another company to come in and HOPEFULLY kill these things off. On April 19th we returned from a trip, and shortly thereafter noticed some kind of bug in our bedroom. We did some Googling and decided they were bed bugs. After checking out a number of companies online after researching how to fight the bugs we hired MeanGreen. We hired them because they were local and had a reasonable price. The deal was two sprayings two weeks apart with the option for them to come back within 90 days if the bugs weren't gone. They came on May 9th and sprayed with a neuro toxin. We had to vacate for 4 hours and keep our cat confined. There were no ill effects to us, but the bugs died in droves. The spraying was in the bedroom and outside along all baseboards. This began on May 9th. On May 23rd the second spraying took place the same way with a different spray. This one interfered with the bed bugs' reproduction for up to 6 months. We waited two weeks and then did a thorough cleaning of the bedroom and bed and mattress and box spring and bed frame and headboard. Before the first spraying we took bedding and the contents of the dresser, but not closet to a laundromat and for some washed and dried and for other stuff dried at a high temperature to rid those things of any bugs and any of their eggs. After the cleanup we put on a mattress cover and a box spring cover and pillow covers designed to prevent any bed bugs or eggs from getting from or to those things. We got the covers on Amazon. We slept in a sofa bed in the living room all the previous time and for another 2 weeks. During these two weeks we inspected and found 1 live bug walking and 1 live bug dying. After that I sprayed with an aerosol neuro toxin I got at Ace Hardware. After that I found another dead bug. At the end of these additional two weeks we cleaned again and then slept in the bedroom with nightly inspections. During the next 7 days we found 1 live bug walking and 1 dead bug. We sprayed with the aerosol can again. After that we found 5 dead bugs. During the next 7 days we found 10 dead bugs and 1 dying bug. During the next 7 days we found no bugs. During the next 7 days we found no bugs. During the next 7 days we found 1 dead bug. During the next 7 days we found 1 dead bug. During the last 7 days of the 90 days we found 1 dead bug. We decided not to request a third spraying because it was clear that we would not be seeing live walking bugs. The reason for giving the detail is to show the trajectory of the treatment. It takes time. I am well satisfied what MeanGreen did and would be happy to hire them again if needed. They showed me their license and they clearly know what they are doing, but I think it important for the user of their services to know what they are doing to fight the bugs. Denver apparently has many infestations of them. They show up anywhere there are humans, because they live off of human blood. They don't like cats or dogs because they have fur and they can't travel easily through fur. read more

Victor did deliver my refund...after telling me it was in the mail throughout a month period and me calling him numerous occasions to complain. I would still be cautious using this company. I called them because I could hear noises behind a wall. I previously (last year) had squirrels removed and thought they might have returned. Joel came out and was convinced it was mice or rats even though he could find no dropping or evidence of them. I told him I had tried to plug up what I thought was the entrance they were using and that the animal(s) had moved a brick and gnawed through spray in foam (showed him the foam on the ground). He was still convinced that it was mice or rats so he left a product that would trap them. One week later I had a mother racoon and 3 babies in my garage where they wreaked havoc. I called another company to remove the babies (the mother had left) and am now working with them to remedy the situation. I called MEANGREEN to request a refund or partial rebate and was brushed off - they even came out to check the trap after that and they had the never to tell me that there were no mice or rats in the trap!! They might be good at bug eradication but do not hire them for critter problems. read more

We had a similar experience with Mean Green. We had a problem with Indian Meal Moths. Joel came out and sprayed for them and left us a pheromone trap. Joel offered us a 90 day warranty. We had the initial application done on 11/25/2015. We started noticing more moths about 80 days after the application. I emailed MeanGreen on February 18th requesting them to contact us for a reapplication since we were starting to see more moths. I did not hear back from them so I called them the following day ( February 19th ). Joel called me back on February 22nd\23rd and said and informed me that since it was after the 90 day warranty period they would have to charge me for a new application. I added that it was not 90 days after the warranty period. He politely asked me to call his brother ( owner ) Vic. I talked to Vic and he told me that since it was outside the 90 days ( 91 days is what he told me it was but technically it was more like 80 days from my first email\phone call to them in February requesting the reapplication). Anyways we split hairs over this issue and he asked a couple of time why I was not interested in a annual mtce program. Frankly after the lack of professionalism by counting days - and not honoring their word there is no way I would subscribe to a annual application program. Vic finally agreed to putting out additional pheromone traps and told me he would call the following Thursday, Friday or Saturday to schedule either him or his brother to come to our house and set the additional traps. I insisted on a reapplication of the spray but he would not agree. Bottom line - we never heard from either of them. Frankly if a company cannot honor their word and split hairs over a 90 day warranty period ( and on top of that we contacted them within the warranty period ) I am not sure I want to do business with a company like that. We will go elsewhere for our extermination needs. I would say the first time Joel arrived he was very knowledgeable and professional and the initial application seemed to work for a while and as he mentioned a second application may be necessary if we found the months coming back. read more
