Stewart is a pro and true to his word. I was having problems with unusually destructive squirrels and Stewart did two+ weeks of capture/release for a very fair price. I also appreciate that he doesn't leave the traps open when weather looks bad, and communicated that ahead of time. This is the second time I've hired Stewart and will continue to. Stewart at Animal Control Specialist came to our rescue not once, but twice. The first time was in 2021, and we just engaged his services again last month to rehome some squirrels that were adamant about chewing their way into our house. Stewart was extremely responsive and came out within a couple of days to set up the traps. He made sure the traps were in a shaded area so that any captured squirrels weren't roasting in the sun, and came out daily to check/reset the traps and to escort the squirrels to a new area. Both times, he also examined our home for potential entry points and gave us the option to have him seal them or have another contractor seal them for us. Of course, we opted to have him do it, but I liked that he wasn't pushy and gave us enough information to make an informed choice. Hopefully we won't have guests trying to chew their way into our house for a while, but Stewart will once again be our first call if that happens again. Highly recommend! read more

I have used this company twice now. First for squirrels in my attic as well as raccoons trying to get the squirrels. Stewart got rid of squirrels and fixed the hole they had made to enter the attic. This year my neighborhood is experiencing very bold raccoons. Hanging out on the porch so we can't let our dogs out. So far Leighton has trapped 2 and counting. Very professional guys and they care about the animals read more

These guys are great. They came out to assess a rodent issue and advised that we are already doing basically everything they would do. (Alas, they don't have a barn cat rental program!) We wound up not hiring them or anybody, but I would call them in a heartbeat for anything else. read more

Stewart is so knowledgeable, generous with his time and helpful - I would highly recommend him. I'll be using him for all my future animal control issues. read more

Stewart helped me with a raccoon at my house and I would recommend him to anyone I know! He rearranged his day to provide same day service & arrived within a few hours. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Most importantly, he genuinely cares about the animals well-being so his services are the best and safest solution for both you and the animals involved! Stewart also provided guidance on how to avoid similar situations in the future. 10/10 read more

We had a sick or injured raccoon that wouldn't leave our backyard, because of all the great reviews on yelp we called Animal Control Specialist and Stewart was as professional and kind as mentioned. He was out the same day and now our dog is free to roam the backyard again. read more

I highly recommend Animal Control Specialist, LLC! I called yesterday about wildlife that needed to be removed on the side of my house (the first time I've needed this service). Stewart was able to give me a quote based on my circumstances, and arrived at my house 40 minutes later, promptly as promised. He is exceptionally professional, kind, and clearly cares about providing excellent service. I am so grateful and would not hesitate to use Animal Control Specialist again! read more

Bunnies decided to nest under our deck which brought on a flea infestation that carried into our home. We had to get rid of the bunnies before we could fully solve the problem. Animal Control Specialist came out quickly and helped us get the bunnies out humanely, then sealed the deck so this wouldn't happen again. Reasonable pricing, quick, and friendly. Would recommend. read more

We had a rental property which the tenant thought had an animal digging under the back porch. I spoke with Stewart a couple of times, and he got me in touch with Ryan, who went out and then called me, saying he didn't see any signs of an animal, thought it might be a water issue. Very much appreciated their service and honesty, and will definitely call them again when we DO have an animal issue! Thank you! read more

Excellent service. Did the job, did it well, and were very easy to work with and responsive

We were in a frantic situation when we contacted Animal Control Specialist LLC. There was a disturbing noise in our basement, and we thought a bird was trapped in metal tubing. The sound emanating from the tube was terrifying. I had contacted several businesses that day for assistance, but the only one who would come out on the same day, was Animal Control Specialist LLC. They sent Ryan. Ryan quickly put me at ease with his demeanor and professionalism. He discovered it wasn't a bird but a squirrel. The squirrel was no longer in the tube, but he ascertained squirrels were using the chimney as a highway to the basement and then back out again. Over two weeks Ryan trapped and removed squirrels from our yard, and then installed a custom chimney cap (which we had no idea existed). So now our home will be squirrel free. Ryan is the squirrel whisperer and we can't thank him enough for his outstanding service! read more

I had three of them that where born and living in my boat I was at the store looking for a way to trap them when I ran into Stewart he was incredibly helpful and so smart with handling the babies he safely got them in a trap by hand. I was able to take them back to their mother safely and unharmed. He went over and beyond to help me and I am very impressed with his knowledge handling the animals. read more

Stewart gets it done! We were plagued by raccoons living in the soffit over our patio, doing disgusting things and making major damage. This small business owner diagnosed the problem - and came back every day for two weeks until he captured a 50+lb male raccoon, along with a family of 5 babies and a skunk! Clearly an expert with the patience to get it done. A real find and I've already recommended him to Bow Mar neighbors. Can't say enough about his efforts to eliminate our problem. read more

What a find this company is! It is not a big expensive company but an excellent local company. Stewart is the owner and he is absolutely outstanding!! He is very experienced and does excellent work. We had him take care of bats and rats and his understanding of the animals and how to get rid of them was awesome. He understood our problem, immediately told us how to solve it and did the work quickly and professionally. His prices are reasonable and his responsiveness amazing. If you have a critter or pest problem you have to call him! We looked at a couple other companies but he was better in every way. We would use him every time if we have any other problems (hopefully not). read more

Called about some squirrels that were running a muck at my rental property and keeping the tenants up at night. He told me the professional way to handle it but also said that if I had some free time on my hands that there were less expensive ways to handle the problem properly. Stewart gave me about 15 mins of advice free of charge. This company will be my go-to from here on out if there are any other issues. read more

These folks are knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate toward the animals. A couple of years ago they removed a dead squirrel from my chimney, and they just helped us out with raccoons in our attic (and poor little ones who fell down into the wall.) I wouldn't call anyone else. read more

Tough to find an honest and helpful, contractor, but Stewart gets top rating and thanks. He spent time educating me on ways to control mice (which is not even the reason I called him). He confirmed I did not have a squirrel problem, and checked the entire exterior of the house for incursion points. He pointed out a couple of things I should do to prevent future incursion, and even made some suggestions to properly provide for the bats I have in the yard. His price was way reasonable, especially since he spent a full hour with me. Top notch businessman. Ted W. - The Pinery, Parker, Co read more

Amazingly thorough and prompt service! I would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Great service. He came out right away on a Saturday and got the squirrel out, that was hanging out in our vent a hood. Would definitely use him again! read more

We live in an old house with lots of chimneys and apparently a great place for bats. I called Stewart on a Friday afternoon. He promptly drove through Friday PM rush-hour to come up to our home (Wow!). He was very comfortable with the issue and promptly secured the inside of our home. Super knowledgeable and affordable! Thank you, Stewart! read more

I recently had an issue with a snake taking up residence in my basement without my permission. When I was looking for someone to come and remove it, I came across Animal Control Specialist. I spoke with Stewart, who took the time to TRY to help me be rational and calm about the situation. Other companies tried to use the scare tactics in order to get some ridiculous amounts of money out of me and get me into an ongoing contract. I wound up having my local animal control people to come and pick it up, but they we no where near helpful beyond that. I called Stewart to come out to make sure there were no other snakes in the basement. He inspected my basement and sealed up an entry hole in no time. He was very sweet and patient. I don't want to have to call him back, but if someone else I know needs something I wouldn't hesitate to call him to get the job done! read more

Stewart is professional, polite and responsive. I called him after 6pm last night to get raccoons out of my chimney and he was at my door within the hour. He got the job done quickly and with a smile. His prices were very reasonable too. Highly recommended read more

Came out to check a developing "squirrel in the attic" problem (we noticed them coming and going from outside). After having a look on the roof and determining there was not yet a nesting site inside, they sealed up the entry point and did not ask for payment. Would definitely call (and pay for) this service again any time we have an issue. read more

We woke up with a raccoon in our basement. Needless to say we were freaked out. I called Animal Control Specialists and they came out within hours. Mathew was very professional and able to deal with my novice understanding of how to deal with the situation. The little guy had left our basement but Mathew set-up traps and regularly came by to check to see if we caught anything. Luckily we didn't but they also helped but a grate on the chimney to stop them from getting in again. I would highly recommend them. It was affordable and professional! read more

William is wonderful! He was reasonably priced and honest. He knows about animals and did the squirrel catching in a humane way. He followed up every day to check the traps and then on the weekends, he did not bait the traps because he would not be by until Monday. He got the job done and I'm relieved to have found him! read more

These gentlemen are great. I heard some sound within a high part of an external wall and found these great reviews for ACS. Called Stewart, and Matthew came out a couple days later to inspect house. Fortunately, no signs of a squirrel or access large enough. Perhaps mice. Matthew did a really careful inspection of it all, and since he did not find any evidence of an animal (maybe evidence of mice in past), he did not charge me for the trip. If there was a squirrel to trap, they have a specific fee for that and come back every day until it's caught. Fortunately, I don't need that. Anyway, my sense is that this is a great company. Really thoughtful people and excellent service. And, if I do want to investigate the mouse possibility further, they referred to another company who are great at that. That's really impressive. I highly recommend this company. read more

Stewart did a great job getting rid of unwanted squirrels in my attic. He was very professional and responsive every time I called him.

The best! We called him on a Saturday about squirrels in our attic and he came right away. We had to leave town for 2 weeks the next day and he took care of everything while we were gone. His price was very fair. He was friendly, trustworthy, loves his job, and knew exactly how to fix the problem. We highly recommend him. read more
