You can't beat the price and the technicians are incredibly friendly and professional (Orkin wanted to charge 3-4x the amount and offered no follow-up or guarantees with their estimates). I had an absolute nightmare of a situation with seed ticks in spring/summer 2023 (read: baby ticks that are smaller than sesame seeds) and Dale was an absolute godsend in getting everything taken care of. Eeeeeeww, bugs. Creepy, crawly bugs! I bought my house nearly two years ago, and not all of the previous inhabitants were kind enough to vacate. Specifically, I found a few centipedes and spiders that were freeloading in my basement. You guys think you're going to live here for free, and eat MY crumbs (and God knows what else)? Well, you've got another think coming. I checked Yelp, read through all the reviews for exterminators, and called Dale. He came out yesterday, right on time, and all the Yelpers were right - he's professional, friendly, and thorough. I waked with him through the house and was careful to point out "hidden" crawlspaces and cuts into the wall. He got into every nook and cranny, and even did a couple "rechecks" while he was here - just to see if anything on more than two legs was already trying to find its way out. One of the most impressive things about Dale was that if you find anything in-between visits (you can arrange these quarterly), he comes back out to spray - FOR FREE! That's pretty much a guarantee of his work, which makes me feel better since I know he stands behind what he does. This is my second time working with the Bug Doctor, and it has been a very positive experience both times! I have used their services for a cockroach and mouse problem, and they are very knowledgeable and explain things in a way that's easy to understand. When I have called them, they are very friendly on the phone, and they fit me in very quickly- didn't make me wait long. A few years ago, we realized we had bed bugs and didn't know where to start. We called a few chain pest control companies and were told it would take weeks for them to treat our house. We have been using their services for a couple years now and even though other bug exterminators have come to my door trying to give me their best deal, I am not straying from the Bug Doctors. We have them come out every 90 days and I can usually predict when they are going to call to schedule a visit because I will see a spider a day or two before their call. As soon as they come and spray, no creepy crawlers until it's time to schedule again. DALE has saved me, my cashmere, my pets, and my wool rugs! Thank you DALE! I experienced a moth problem. A serious moth problem where those little demons munched their way through half my closet and devoured one 9X12 Wool rug. I hate using pesticides because I have parrots as pets, but Dale, my vet, and I worked out a program to kill one variety of winged pests (and not the other). Dale and I spoke at length and he insisted I check with my vet before scheduling, giving me the evil chemical's name. I did check with the vet, and had to board my critters for a week to avoid certain death with the chemical needed to wipe out the moths. Dale came, assessed my infestation (OMG, I had an INFESTATION!), and gave it a 5 on a scale of 1-20. So he sprayed, I waited a week, the birds came back and they are fine and happy and the moths are DEAD DEAD DEAD. I spoke to about 5 exterminators and NO ONE even mentioned that the chemical could hurt my pets, and several local companies HAD NEVER HEARD OF CLOTHES MOTHS!! Red Flag. I am a longstanding consumer of yelp reviews, but never bothered leaving one-- selfish I know. Had to finally sign up to write this one. Recently moved to Denver from San Francisco and bought a house. I knew there were past termite issues that were taken care of by the previous owner in the kitchen at the back of the house. Rolled back the rug in the living room at the front of the house to find three areas where termites had eaten all the way through the hardwood. Previous owner was not aware of issues in the living room. Uh oh! Called Dale to set up an appointment and await my fate. Dale came out and did a thorough inspection in the living room, in the kitchen, all around the exterior and then every room in the basement. Luckily the damage in the living room was part of the past issue and taken care of with insecticides when the kitchen was treated. Dale allayed my fears, told me no treatment was necessary now or in the foreseeable future and did not even charge me to come out and look. Now how unbelievably honest is that? I can't speak to his ability to solve your pest problem since I lucked out and did not have one, but he certainly could have saddled me with expensive treatments or at least charged me for the inspection. Sean from Bug Doctor came out immediately and blasted the eight-legged nightmares into oblivion! He remained calm despite me being almost hysterical, and his competence inspired confidence. I actually relaxed and slept that night, feeling safe after his visit. Our house has remained free of eight-legged nightmares (and all other pests, including flies, mice, hornets - strangely, their occasional presence never "bugged" me. Groan! But still, I'm glad they're gone, too!) and Sean kindly shared a few tips on creating the ultimate arachnid-free zone: "I almost never see any in houses with a finished basement" motivated me to motivate my DH, and our basement project is now completed. I found Dale through Yelp when looking for reviews for clothing moth exterminators. I had gone through extensive measures to rid my house of them. I called Dale at 8:30 on a Sunday night expecting to leave a message and caught him on the phone. I didn't anticipate anyone answering and felt bad about disturbing him on a Sunday evening and he was nothing but gracious on the phone. I offered to call back and he assured me there was no need and walked me through steps I might need to take to address the situation. We likely spent a half hour on the phone walking through what I was seeing in my home. After taking Dale's advice and waiting a couple of months, I continued to see some evidence of moths so I asked him to come out for a visit. These moths have been mentally draining on me and I wanted to be sure I was doing all that was necessary to battle them. Dale just left my home after a complete and thorough walk-through assuring me that the steps that I've taken seem to be working. On two occasions now, Dale has been completely honest about what might be most effective and has declined to charge me for something that he doesn't feel would work. That's true integrity. I'm sure other businesses at my first call would have heard my desperation and would have happily charged me over and over to address the problem. I haven't had Dale treat my home but based on his knowledge and personal integrity I would highly recommend him and will have him at the ready should I ever need his assistance in the future. Is it weird to love your exterminator? Because I honestly do. Dale is not just friendly, but truly a kind human being. I first called him nearly a year ago, having moved into a new apartment and spotted a few too many spiders for my liking. Despite my semi-hysterics over the phone, he gave me wonderful advice, was extremely patient and got me scheduled right away. He even gave me a break on the initial appointment cost, because my apartment is rather small. Every experience since has been nothing short of fantastic. He's prompt, professional, thorough and he hangs out for a few minutes after he sprays to make sure nothing is crawling out of any dark corners. I have him out for quarterly service (even though that may be overkill, but I don't care, it's worth the peace of mind) and I find his prices very reasonable. I love these guys! Seriously, Dale is my hero. I have a little phobia you see, of the creepy crawlies that happen to have eight legs. We have had Bug Doctor on contract for I think about 4 years now. They call to remind us and come once a quarter to spray. They are prompt, affordable, friendly and all around good guys. In fact when we had a bee problem (normally I wouldn't kill bees) the bees had built a nest in the eve of our house and were getting inside by the dozens. Bug doctor took care of it for us included in the contract. If I see too many sp sp spiders (YIKES) in between sprays I can just give them a call and they will come spray again for free. Basically they make my life much easier and I am a lot less likely to suffer panic attacks because of them. Like I said... my heroes. read more

Had these guys come out last year when we had a termite scare. They were helpful and informative (even though they don't technically do termite inspections due to insurance reasons. As an aside, that's probably why Terminex has the market cornered and tries to sell you $3500 plans when you don't actually have termites!). The exterminator went into great detail about a "spring power spray" they do for spider control. I marked it in my calendar and called them this spring...but no one answered! I've emailed twice, called four times and left a message, all over a two week period, and not a single person had gotten back to me. I'm not sure if they're still in business...or how they're doing business if they don't call their customers back? I finally had to go with another company I found on Yelp!, and they were fantastic.
