A colony of wasps established a nest inside an outside wall of our house, using a small gap in our dryer vent for access. They stung my wife when we tried to take care of the problem ourselves. We called two other bee control companies, one of which wanted to demolish 20 sq ft of drywall to get to the bees nest. The other company treated but failed to solve the problem, and tried to sell us an expensive unneeded annual pest control plan. I just called Dale to help me remove a hornet's nest and he told me that, based on what I told him about it, I could do it myself for $5 worth of bug spray. He said I should not waste money on a service call if the nest was open and exposed like this one was and explained the kind of nest that needed a professional to remove. Dale gets 5 stars from me on helpfulness, responsiveness and friendliness alone. I called him late Thursday afternoon after having a major panic attack about some bites appearing on my leg in the last week. I'd also gotten a nasty spider bite on the other leg a month ago that still hasn't healed. I described to him my problem and he told me to go home and look for some certain signs of specific things. Yep, thanks to the internet I had convinced myself I had bed bugs. I called him as soon as I got home, I don't know that I found what he was looking for but I did find a tiny centipede in my master bath sink and I had had it! I didn't care what was in my house, I wanted him to burn my place down if he had to because I was freaking out about the bugs. Perhaps a slight overreaction to maybe four total spider sightings in two months, but... He told me he would come by Friday at 2pm to spray with Deltamethrin (luckily people, baby and dog safe). He actually showed up at 1pm which was awesome (sorry I wasn't home yet!). Though neither of us found any evidence of anything too creepy, I wanted him to spray anyway and he did for $175 while my pups and I hung out on our deck. Much cheaper than anything I had researched. He sprayed the bed frames, mattresses, floors, furniture and who knows what else and also gave me tips on how to effectively clean all my bedding and linens. All I know is that a week has passed since my last bites - and I couldn't say that a week ago! They've healed and I'm going to pretend it was all a bad dream. He has a lot of experience with all types of bugs in this area and he put my mind at ease for a very low price. P.S. Don't EVER google bed bugs unless you're prepared to light yourself on fire immediately. read more

Dale came and saved the day! Bed bugs came to visit us and Dale sent them packing!! We had to get sprayed twice because our neighbor was harboring the nasty things, but Dale was so accommodating. He fit us in his busy schedule, used pet safe spray (my dogs loved him) and our bill was pleasantly and surprisingly affordable. The second application of the spray was even done at no charge. We have a terrible Blow Fly infestation. Orkin wanted to charge me 250$ minimum! This gentleman was honest about needing to remove the critter in the wall where they were breeding. He said that fly strips and a swatter are the best way to go. He said he didn't want to charge me when they will run their course regardless. I appreciate the honesty!! HUGE LIFE SAVER! I just closed on my house last week and yesterday comcast came out to install service at the house. Well I guess the drilling into the walls to install the cable outlets aggravated a foot-long next of angry hornets that had made their nest inside the wall in my kitchen, and they burrowed through the wall and came streaming into the house. The comcast guy got stung as I grabbed my dog and all three of us sprinted for the back door. We stood there for a few minutes, in the backyard, watching hundreds of hornets stream into my house, feeling utterly helpless. I called TONS of exterminators, Terminix, Orkin, Pest Removal, you name I called them. They all gave me the following answers: We can fit you in next Monday, use a flyswatter, try to tape the whole shut, and no, we don't work after 4pm. I had NO IDEA what to do, everything, my keys, my wallet, were all inside the house with the swarm of hornets. The comcast guy's brother is a cop and he called the animal control warden of arvada and he got the number for the bug doctor. I gave Dale a call and he said he'd be out in an hour, no problem. Exactly one hour later he showed up, put his bee keeper suit on and shop vac'd over a hundred hornets out of the inside of my house and 'a few hundred' more from the nest inside my wall. He was thorough, he probably spent an hour and a half at my house, he was meticulous, professional and after the hornets were taken care of, he came back from his truck with multiple types of sprays and sprayed other wasp nests and prime wasp nest locations for free. He then showed me what to do to the landscaping to prevent those suckers from ever coming back. He also gave us a 90 guarantee. He might be slightly more expensive than some but I would pay for him to come out any day of the week. Seriously, Dale saved me from a horrendous situation last night and I have nothing but great things to say about him. read more

He took a look at the pictures and let me know that it was probably nothing that some Home Defense couldn't take care of. I appreciated his honesty and expertise.
