She was honest, reliable and so easy to work with. My fiance was in the military and there was a possibility he would deploy before our wedding so it was important for the venue to be flexible on the date, she handled that so marviously I knew I had made the right choice, and was even able to negotiate military discounts from vendors! Being in college with a fiance in the military we were on a tight budget, she understood that and found ways to save money without sacrificing my vision. In order to do this, she showed me how to save in other areas, like the invitations. Instead of ordering the invitations, she ordered the supplies and we hand made them, which made the invitations even more special. The one thing I absolutely wanted at my wedding was twinkling lights and boy did she deliver, she set them up so they hung from the balcony over the dinner tables and ended behind the head table, it looked like a night in Paris. No request was too big or too out of the ordinary, she delivered exceptional service and made the day of run smoothly. I could not have asked for a better wedding planner for my special day.

They did everything that I ever even envisioned and more. But I just can't tell you how much I love Debi. Any concerns, any worries that I had she listened. She didn't judge she really helped me through it all especially when I had conservative parents who tried to put opinions in. She was absolutely an amazing person to work with planning my wedding. She made the planning process so easy I really had no stress at all. I do want to thank Tim from unforgettable events that the venue provided. Anyways, I attended a wedding at this venue and the venue was beautiful. I however noticed a few things and had a few interactions with the staff that left a bad taste in my mouth with this venue. The night seemed rushed. The couple seemed to be stressed out and did not know what to do next. I saw not one person offering them assistance which prompted me to later ask the couple if they had a wedding planner. They said the venue provided a planner but did not have any guidance which matched what I witnessed during my experience. Next, during the toasts champagne were passed out. At the time I was breastfeeding my one month old and had a four year old with me. I, and my four year old, were poured champagne. I got up and walked over to a server and asked for the cider (i knew was there because the bride and groom confirmed prior to the wedding) and was told they aren't sure there's any left. I asked the mother of the groom and she said there's no way they ran out which promoted the server to FINALLY go check. Lastly, I noticed they were cleaning up the decorations on the tables around 10:30. I asked a server if the wedding was over and we were getting kicked out and she responded with "we like to clean up early". This also matches the obvious lack of guidance in planning as no one knew if we were being pushed out or not. The whole thing felt rushed and I will NOT have my wedding here.

I am a person who likes to plan out everything in advance so that when things happen, I already have a plan in place to be able to fix it, or to have someone else be able to fix it (in this case, I had everything set up to where I would be bothered as little as possible). Samantha was allowing me to meet up with her almost monthly to complete payments and to go over different details as they arose. She was extremely helpful when it came to planning and was amazing at responding to all emails (which I definitely did not get from numerous other vendors). Then throughout the day, she was extremely helpful in keeping they plan we created in motion. The price here is great! If you so chose, this event space allows you to maintain a budget in a medium to lower budget. You have options to have everything included as you prefer (they have different caterers and DJs they contract with) or you can only use the space if you so wish to do. They keep the bar as an open bar (meaning you give them the alcohol and they serve it) and they provide basically all of the non-alcoholic stuff. Samantha even brought in a local prickly pear syrup for prickly pear margaritas that was delicious. There were also different things you could add if you wanted them (upgrades for chairs, an extra getting ready room, a fire pit, etc.) We were allowed to bring in whatever decorations that we wanted, so an individual could lean into the rustic, Southwest theme they already had, or to spin what is there to match just a rustic theme (I personally leaned more towards the mountain/forest theme rather than the Southwest theme). There was a possibility that it would rain on the wedding day in which Samantha spoke with us about the day before. Together we made sure there was a plan in place in case it rained (it didn't so we were able to get married on the lawn). Everything that evening went really smoothly. If I have any tips for future weddings - bring bug spray. Events are mostly outside, at the base of a mountain... you want the bug spray. This event space very much matched everything that I would look for in planning a wedding. It gave me the freedom to do as I wanted creatively, but also assisted in providing structure to maintain the plan I had in place, or fill in some gaps that I was missing. I strongly recommend using the Corona Ranch as an event space and I hope that many groups will have wonderful parties here in the future.

Ok, first the good... *The food was excellent. We had beef and chicken, both with wonderful sauces, along with some amazing green beans and mashed potatoes. The dessert was great too. *The wait staff were super helpful, courteous and efficient. I hope they pay them well because they deserve it. *The venue was very pretty Ok, now the not-so-great, which unfortunately is a longer list... *They need better signage and lighting for nighttime events. It was hard to tell where to park and even more difficult finding the buildings in the dark. We wandered through the rocky parking lot and found a sidewalk and finally found the party. *Um, ADA compliant? Not so great. I have a lot of health issues and have difficulty walking long distances. There was no such thing as handicap parking and I would have had a very difficult time trying to use my walker. Good luck if you're in a wheelchair. *This was partially an outside event. Generally speaking, outside events in the winter have patio heaters but the only heat sources available were two small fire pits. Everyone took turns warming up by the fire but more was definitely needed. *Our invitation said there would be s'mores stations set up. I don't know if this was a mistake by the venue or the person who booked, but no s'mores were found. Boo! *Lastly, the bartender was less than friendly. Every other staff person was beyond helpful and super friendly except for the bartender. I mean, he wasn't outwardly hostile or anything but he might as well have been a robot bartender. At least the drinks were good!

The reason for one star: they ruined our sand ceremony keepsake. Once the reception started our gifts, cards and sand kit was placed inside. Once the party was over they lock up. Understandable it's someone's home. That's when I realized our sand kit with our sand keepsake was locked inside. I asked if we can go grab it and they refused. Ok again I understand that it's someone's house but none of the staff or anyone working there offered to go back inside and grab it. I asked when can we get it and They said Monday! Wedding was on a Saturday and We're from Phoenix so it's a bit of a drive. So we drive back to the mansion to pick it up and they left the box on the porch. I grab it and opened it up and they had turned the box upside down so the sand was falling out and it got all mixed up! Now every time I look at our keepsake I'm reminded of how terrible they were to us and how they had no consideration for our belongings. Just throw it outside on the porch. But I want to let others know about our experience because I want to make sure it does NOT happen to future brides. I think this will mostly be about things that went wrong. And we did express our complaints to the owner but did not receive a sincere apology. Again, these are OUR issues and hopefully they can be corrected and improved in the future. *The barn door jammed for my sisters first look for her bridesmaids. Ruined moment. *The coordinator was very nice and did help us a lot in the bridal suite. But when it came to having things ready it was not so put together. She did not have ready the "Aras" or "Lazo" which is part of our tradition when getting married. When the time came, we stood there for a good 5-10 min before my mother had to run and go find it to which then the coordinator brought up. No one made an announcement or apologized. Then she pretty much disappeared the rest of the night. *I barely made it to the entrance song because it was not announced for the bridal party to gather. * The DJ RUINED their first dance because he played the wrong song and did not apologize. We gave him a whole set list to play of which NONE of the music was represented. He only played one line dance song where he got out on the dance floor but that was it. And coming from a Hispanic family, he did not play ANY Mexican music. Half the wedding did not dance at all. He did not announce any events so we did not know when cake cutting was happening or if things were placed out. For guests to view. Guests book signing, momentos to take home were not touched because no one knew about. *We had a High school mariachi band come play during dinner but then after they were somehow allowed to go into the bridal room and just "hang out"??? I don't know who said they could go back there but I was shocked when I went to get something and they were all lounging around our personal items!? I mean bras were thrown and everything back there! That was a big issue for me. Not appropriate. *When dinner came we had ok'd all guests to be allowed to have both entrees. I find out later that one side was offered only a choice instead of both! We had so much food leftover because of this! And the food was not as good as at the tasting. *The bar had pre made cocktails in pitchers instead of making them individually, so they were very strong. And if you had a drink, you had to drink it quickly because they'd come around and pick it up even if it was still full! Such a waste of all our bought liquor and beer. *They allowed guests in the ballroom while we were trying to take pictures of the bridal party so we had to have them go back out which was embarrassing. Then when we requested the guests to enter earlier after photos due to the weather it took another hour to make the announcement. *Not enough cocktail hour food! *Wedding party did not receive any snacks for cocktail hour. *The backdrop in the Photo Booth was not even up! It was supposed to be a newspaper setting and it was just a black curtain. *Not enough dessert and they were serving in paper boats that my uncle had provided for his nachos bar. *They had very young people serving who did not know how to serve or plate. *DJ did not announce the last dance!!!! They missed it and by then everyone had gone because the music sucked. AGAIN, just our experience but I hope those who take time to read this will be appreciative and take time to make sure everything goes how they expect it. And have a boss or someone you trust in charge of the little things to stay on top of them because they didn't seem to care much after they were paid. They were given programs to know exactly how we wanted things to go and they did not deliver.

Some delicious horderves and drinks were being served before the ceremony. The area is at the base of Sombrero Peak so the west setting sun is blocked by the peak so a 5 o'clock wedding is perfect without being under the blazing sun. Indoor dining is served with a table by table help yourself dinner. The space is elegant and comfortable and provides a great dining experience with a variety for the bride and groom speeches and then dancing. Did I mention plenty of parking. The staff, the views, the professionalism was definitely a 5 stars.
