I wanted to praise this venue so highly. I would 100% recommend this over and over again. I came across the venue at the bridal show expo. I met Debi. I just kind of knew this venue was gonna be the one from there. When I met Debi she was super fantastic from the get-go. Not saying that the other people were not as great like John or Georgina. They were fantastic with my engagement photos at the venue. Because everybody at the Butte was super amazing. They helped me every step of the way. Any questions concerns it was addressed. The day of all the employees like Debi Georgina John all said hi and checked on me. They truly went out of their way. They wanted to make sure I was good along with the groom. They help me get ties and boutonnieres to people. They made sure that the ceremony ran perfectly along with the reception. They helped me out in anyway possible. They did everything that I ever even envisioned and more. But I just can't tell you how much I love Debi. Any concerns, any worries that I had she listened. She didn't judge she really helped me through it all especially when I had conservative parents who tried to put opinions in. She was absolutely an amazing person to work with planning my wedding. She made the planning process so easy I really had no stress at all. I do want to thank Tim from unforgettable events that the venue provided. He made the reception and the ceremony to remember with the music, the sparklers, the clouds. Tim listened to my little fun quirky things I wanted to add and was totally on board for it all. My family and his family loved the venue. They have never seen a venue like this, they were so obsessed. His family had been to four previous weddings before this. They said this was the best wedding they have seen. The details this wedding had was beautifully done and were wowed from the ceremony to the reception. For starters, the venue should put lights outside on the walkway to the piano room as my mother tripped and bruised her knee pretty bad. Anyways, I attended a wedding at this venue and the venue was beautiful. I however noticed a few things and had a few interactions with the staff that left a bad taste in my mouth with this venue. The night seemed rushed. The couple seemed to be stressed out and did not know what to do next. I saw not one person offering them assistance which prompted me to later ask the couple if they had a wedding planner. They said the venue provided a planner but did not have any guidance which matched what I witnessed during my experience. Next, during the toasts champagne were passed out. At the time I was breastfeeding my one month old and had a four year old with me. I, and my four year old, were poured champagne. I got up and walked over to a server and asked for the cider (i knew was there because the bride and groom confirmed prior to the wedding) and was told they aren't sure there's any left. I asked the mother of the groom and she said there's no way they ran out which promoted the server to FINALLY go check. Lastly, I noticed they were cleaning up the decorations on the tables around 10:30. I asked a server if the wedding was over and we were getting kicked out and she responded with "we like to clean up early". This also matches the obvious lack of guidance in planning as no one knew if we were being pushed out or not. The whole thing felt rushed and I will NOT have my wedding here. read more

We had our daughter's wedding/reception there and it was absolutely beautiful!! The venue is well run, clean and we loved it was a one stop (dj, catering, wedding planner etc) venue, they made everything so easy. Our guest raved about beautiful the venue was as well as how kind and welcoming the staff were. The good was delicious and the dance floor was full of happy guests enjoying themselves! My family was recently at a wedding at the Buttes. The entire evening was magical. The decorations for the wedding and the reception were gorgeous. The food was delicious and served perfectly. The staff was amazing, especially to my 95-year-old mother=in=law. She participated in the event and Debbie, who coordinated the procession assured that my mother-in-law always had a place to sit as she waited to be escorted down the aisle and as dinner was served, Debbie brought a plate to Mom so she didn't have to stand in the buffet line. Absolutely amazing. The buttes at reflections went above and beyond for us and made this special day so incredible. Especially Johanna and Debi, they were so incredible to work with and created a wedding of our dreams. They were patient, understanding and creative. Our wedding day was so beautiful and they work with you every step of the way. They were very open and helped answer any questions we had. From decor, music, food, and more, I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The food was also incredible, and I loved the different options to choose from. BEWARE OF THE DJ AT Reflections at the Buttes, Obi Wan he is their house DJ, and does whatever he wants and doesn't follow instructions, could ruin the wedding, plays music videos, instead of interacting with the audience!! My husband and I just had our wedding there this past Sunday. It was everything we asked for and went so perfectly. We used Deb as our coordinator. She was very helpful and guided us through the whole process. At our first meeting, she asked us so many questions that neither my husband nor I even thought about as we began planning our wedding. Throughout all our subsequent meetings, she was great about checking in to make sure we were still happy with our choices willing to make any changes we wanted. When we arrived to get ready everything was set up as we requested and looked perfect. The day of /night of, we had Hannah as our night manager and she was great checking in throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed and to fix any problems that we may have encountered. The food was amazing! Everyone kept telling us over the course of the night how delicious the prickly pear chicken was and how fresh the vegetable medley tasted. Reflections is very affordable for everything they provide from almost any color table linens, to colored charger plates, to napkin holders, a whole room of decorations and the set up/tear down. My husband and I can't recommend them enough to anyone getting married! read more

This review is from a guest perspective. The couple who runs this place are pretty religious. The couple I knew who had their wedding here explicitly said no Jesus talk. Sure enough, it was the longest Jesus talk. The ceremony area was ok. Its better than a courthouse so it'll do. The back area where the cocktail hour was cozy and the venue inside was decent too. They don't really have a designated restroom for the general public and guest, but rather have to walk through hallways to get to one individual bathroom. This could cause a long line if there were a lot of people with small bladders. Food Review: The cocktail hour appetizers sucked. I don't know if that was all they had to offer but the cold cut meats were salty. Maybe I don't have the acquired taste but the cheese stuffed tomato grapes were a bit questionable. Their baguette bread were literally like chips. Hard to chew. As for dinner, it was a buffet style and they were serving chicken, mash potatoes and buttered carrots. My taste buds were soo bored...I didn't finished the chicken. (We had In-n-Out later that night.) The one good thing was the salad with the Jalapeno vinaigrette dressing. That was tasty. I don't know if that venue hires their own DJ/MC but the one that worked that night.... Sucked. LOL. So to sum it up, if you're looking to have a celebration at an affordable price, I guess you can do it here. Just keep in mind that the owners are pretty religious. DO YOUR RESEARCH. read more

The venue is very nice, and I had a lovely time at my friend's wedding in spring 2013. This review is about the hotel reservation system that they offer. I was told that they had special hotel rates that were guaranteed to be lower the standard rate. I book through Reflections. Upon checking out of the hotel, I received a receipt from the hotel, clearly stating the amount charged and the amount paid to the hotel (by Reflections). This amount was $50 _less_ than what Reflections charged me! I contacted Jessica about this and showed her the receipt from the hotel, clearly showing the lower amount. She assured me "The lower rate you see on your sheet is a mistake." How can it be a mistake, this is a receipt directly from the hotel?!? If you're planning to do your wedding here, don't recommend that your guests book through them. They clearly charge a $50 fee that I could have avoided if I had just booked directly through the hotel. read more

I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. The property is absolutely gorgeous, but we chose the venue originally because it had a generous groom's area, which many of the other venues did not, or had to be shared with guests. Debi and Asher were incredible to work with and we received so many compliments on how beautiful everything was. Because so much was included, there was very, very little I had to provide. I showed Debi some pictures of what I had in mind and she did a beautiful job recreating it with their very wide selection of decor. She is just the sweetest woman and the entire night every time I turned around I could see her managing little details so that we didn't need to even think about any of it. The Reflections at the Buttes has a very courteous and helpful staff. The outside portion features a beautiful backdrop of the Catalina mountains however the gazebo in their outdoor ceremony area looks a bit rickety. The ballroom indoors is well laid out but the dance floor is a bit small for the space. Plus side: the back patio is a beautiful place for cocktails and mingling. The patio is roomy with quite a bit of shade and has a pond as well. Downside: the restrooms are few and hard to find, the first is right off the ballroom but the next two are down a hall and seemingly through a maze. read more

I don't get married every day; I'm not an expert on weddings, so far anyway. That said, RatB was everything I could have hoped for. Everybody there seemed like they wanted us to have as good a wedding as we did. They even have an in-house coordinator to help you figure out everything (We got one of the owners, Debi [though I'm pretty sure I heard there was another coordinator, but this is superfluous information. Hence the double parenthesis I suppose]. Super nice lady). There were rooms exploding with fake flowers, and bottles, and jars, and 4x6 frames, and whatever else you would need for a wedding. There were only a few added fees (expanded food menu and expanded tablecloth options), but everything else was free reign. BYOB, which, if you've priced out other venues you'd know how good that is (also, if you're really into tasty things, you can have a better selection than your general bud, bud light, miller high life, carona, and kind of crappy wines). I found their initial food tasting to be sub par, but I came up with a menu and they were super accommodating to the changes. The night of the wedding, the food was fantastic (I had a lot of people saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had) and everything was decorated gorgeously. They had plenty of accommodating staff, including a great DJ and bartender. All of this and it was the cheapest venu available. I will say on that, based on some other reviews I've read, you kind of get out what you put in. If you don't care about planning your wedding, I think it'd be hard for most venues to make it really all that great. Again though, this doesn't fall under my realm of expertise. I'm definitely planning on coming back for my second wedding (my third wedding [in the year 2120] I'm obviously going to do on the moon, but I mean. That's the moon. It's hard to compete.) read more

Our son got married here yesterday. Being a former wedding planner, I can say these folks are top notch. Super accommodating. Debbie, Tiffany, Stephanie, Mindy, Brian and so many more bent over backwards to make sure the day was special for our kids. The venue is beautiful. For ladies, be careful with your stiletto heels as they may sink into the grassy areas, but that was the worse thing about the entire day. Food was delicious. read more

Beautiful wedding venue but beware booking a summer wedding. We recently attended a wedding here and we knew it would be unbearable during the outdoor ceremony given 110 degree weather but the reception inside was almost worse! The place had very few fans and the temperature on the AC box was 80! Our whole table was sweating and using the beautiful chargers for our dinner plates to fan ourselves. It is a very pretty facility but super uncomfortable for summer weddings. We also didn't see anyone in charge during the wedding checking on the details and helping the couple make things go smoothly. Wouldn't be my first choice of venues. read more

Went to a friends wedding here about a week ago. The ceremony, the DJ, the food, and the ambiance were great. Hannah, who seemed to be in charge, was awesome! My girlfriend spilled a drink on her dress and Hannah went out of her way to try to find a hair dryer to dry it. The bartenders and the rest of the staff were positive and helpful. The only complaint of the night- while waiting in line for our food, an older man who seemed to be some sort of manager, was yelling at a female employee in front of the entire line. She asked if he wanted help serving the plates, since that's what he seemed angry about, and he yelled at her even more and told her to "just get out of here". It was extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable for all of the guests who were in line for good. He didn't seem to care that everyone could hear and continued yelling at her for a minute or two. That put a damper on the evening. Other than that, Hannah and Obie- the DJ were awesome! Great place to have a wedding. read more

My husband and I planned on getting married shortly after we graduated college; my husband was going to school out of state, so this could have proven disastrous. The employees were awesome at helping us make sure everything got done. They called us when the caterer was available for tastings and suggested who we could go to to cover what Reflections didn't, which are the flowers, the cake, the photographer, and the clothes. They had payment plans so that even though we both were out of state for half of the time before the wedding, everything was paid for. Everything except the food and music was planned by the time he left for school and I moved in with him to see if we were compatible. The location was beautiful, and was decorated perfectly. They helped us pick out centerpieces by having mock-ups of what they had in their office and had swatches to show the tablecloths. They also had sampler albums of photographers who had taken photos of others weddings and small cake portfolios of cake decorators who have made cakes for other weddings. The only problem we had was the minister. We were the first couple with our religious views to get married here, so it was a little scary that we didn't meet the minister until a half hour before the wedding. However, she researched it well and performed the perfect ceremony that didn't scare my husband's Catholic relatives. The DJ was awesome and so quirky; when we selected songs, he gave suggestions for events to give us an idea of the mood. He even made a CD of the songs that we specifically asked to be played. The only other thing that went wrong was that my husband and I wanted eighty people at the wedding, and my mother in-law insisted that we have one hundred twenty; we paid for one hundred twenty to shut her up, and regretted it because only eighty ended up attending. However, that had nothing to do with the venue and does not reflect on my rating. read more

My niece got married here yesterday, and I thought was wonderful. She and her new husband didn't have a whole lot of money to spend, so they chose to get married in Tuscon instead of LA. This place is beautiful. My buddy had a wedding reception here and we all had a great time. Nice dance floor, courteous staff, beautiful landscaping (odd thing, spray painted ground where grass was dead), great food (aside from the chicken strips given to our kids, they tasted like cardboard), and great views of the mountains behind. Bathrooms were interesting, all four that I saw. I believe there were a couple more as well. This is a great place to have a wedding reception or other event. Our son Armand and wife Alona just got married there May 12, 2018. It was by far the most stunning wedding we ever attended...Between being visually beautiful and perfect service, we were so happy and comfortable with the entire wedding planning. The day of the wedding, we stopped by to "help" but there was no need. Debbie had worked out everything with the meetings before hand. Ashton and crew were on top of everything! This was the third wedding that my husband and I had attended there. Everything went so smoothly down to the last detail! Everyone knows weddings can be very costly but this place is an all inclusive price (outside of the alcohol) so it is very affordable. We have attended weddings all over the world and this was our favorite venue! Thank you to all for making this special day so beautiful for the bride and groom and all of its guests. The venue was beautiful but their customer service was not great. I recently spoke to my friend who said that the owner wouldn't let her have her (same sex) marriage there. Furthermore, they were supposed to give me a waiver to take home leftover food but instead tossed enough food for 30 people. The hotel reservation lady did not give accurate information to my guests and when I wrote to tell the owner all of this, he basically told me to F off, only a little nicer. I will not be using them again. Ever. read more

The facility is very nice, but parking is limited. We attended a wedding there, and it was an almost perfect setting (some of the chairs in the outdoor ceremony were wobbly, but the beautiful backdrop of the Catalina Mountains was spectacular. The problem for many people in our group was the man (the owner of this facility I was told) who did the marriage ceremony. He was long-winded, lacked a unifying theme to his rambling wedding, and made us uncomfortable by suggesting that the couple being married would want to kill each other. He was insulting to all lawyers, especially criminal prosecutors. His remarks were not designed to support, inspire or educate the newlyweds. He made a sort of connection to 1 Corinthians 13:4 ("Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it his not arrogant or rude." at the end, but the message was largely lost because "love" was really not any part of his message until the last 30 seconds. He is too much about himself and talking down to others instead of making it all about the newlyweds starting their life together with joy, inspiration, thankfulness and love. read more

I had my wedding here back in 2010 and I was really happy with about 85% of how Reflections At the Buttes executed my wedding. The planning is very thorough and the staff very nice. However, we had some mishaps occur that could have been avoided. For example, my wedding was the day after a holiday and I had scheduled the rehearsal to be on the actual holiday since it was the day before my wedding. The wedding coordinator at the Buttes ok'd this and for months leading up to the wedding we had this date set for the rehearsal. Well, 8 weeks before the wedding I get a call from the Buttes saying they couldn't hold the rehearsal on a holiday and wouldn't have any staff in town for it and that we HAD to reschedule it, even though we had a contract written with the rehearsal date already scheduled for the holiday. My whole wedding party already had plane tickets bought so we couldn't reschedule the day, plus it was an out of town wedding so it made it more complicated. They weren't easy to work with regarding this matter and it took a lot of phone calls for them to finally agree to get someone there to hold the rehearsal as scheduled. They never apologized for this mistake on their end and it left a bad taste in our mouth plus created a lot of stress. The DJ was ok, but not great. I had sent a revised list of songs to play at the wedding but she played the other list and therefore songs like the Father/Daughter dance one were wrong. Nothing major, but a mistake that could have been avoided had they double checked the music details on their end. On the positive side, they really do provide a lot for your money and they set up the venue exactly how I wanted it. It's a beautiful place for a wedding and we were really happy with it all. The wedding day ran fairly smoothly and I would recommend this place to other brides seeking a nearly "all inclusive" wedding venue. read more

We chose to have our wedding at Reflections because of the location and the beautiful views. To our delight, we met John, Debbie and the rest of the wonderful staff who were so helpful throughout the entire process. For our menu, we wanted something special that they did not have listed but they were very accommodating and were able to make it for us and it was amazing! The venue is beautiful, the staff is great and the food was amazing! We still get compliments to this day about how beautiful our wedding was and how delicious the food was. We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at such a beautiful and intimate venue and being able to work with such wonderful people was a bonus. I would highly recommend Reflections to any couple looking for a venue. They are so good at what they do and it makes it easy knowing that you have a staff of people who are experts that will make sure your day is perfect!
