They could have told me this at the time I reserved it, before I committed to movers, or any other time. They started smiveling about how instead of trusting them "I should have read the fine print." That is how much they care about customer service and keeping their word. I was out $350 to the movers. The "regional manager" was in the office and was fully aware of what was happening, and agreed that they should not keep their word, that I should have read the fine print instead of taking their word for it when they went through all the motions of providing the truck. This is a nice facility and a good location for me, but If you care about honesty and integrity, stay away, they are liars and snivelers.

But the spot was in a location that the only way I could back the unit in was if the spots across from me didn't have anyone in them. The second issue is there are two entry gates at different ends. One has been inoperable for months which reduces option to get your vehicle in and out given the tight space. The biggest issue however was I rented the spot for $115/mo. Within 30 days they increased the rate to $217 and at 6 months raised it to $297, nearly tripling the original cost. Clearly a bait and switch business model hoping that the pain of relocating your stuff will box many people in.

My friends would not go onto elevator for fear of being stuck in it. They charge $5 or $10 to pay your bill by debit or credit card. They try to raise the price every time the bill is due. Three contact is shady. Make sure you read every word, and know they will follow through with every unfair charge they can get away with. I believe they make more money on unfair charges then they do renting lockers. It feels like dealing with a street dealer I feel a weight lifted from me finally getting tie cut.
