I made my purchase and was on my way out the door. Doors where locked and no one came I waited for a little while and proceeded to call an employee to open the door so I can leave.this to me is a loss prevention issue and should be looked into. I always shop at the Joyce Leslie on route 46 and I can honestly say the staff has alway been outstanding customer friendly and help great job to that store I hope that this review will help cooperate office in readjusting the performance of the Passaic store it is a store that has great potential and should be profiting more money if staff performs high quality customer service and a neat shopping experience because it was a hot mess Thank you!

I walked into the store in need of a special dress for an event that evening. Note: I despise shopping. Despise it. I was filled with dread as I declared, "I hate shopping. I have no idea what will look good on me, but I need a dress." That was all it took. Immediately, I was given a dressing room and dresses were brought to me to try on. This was the best experience of my life in a clothing store. Not only did I find a dress that looked great on me, but they had a seamstress in the store to make the necessary alterations right then and there! I was able to wear this gorgeous dress for my event. I can't thank Pink Orchid enough. People were so kind and welcoming. I will most definitely shop here again.

She accused me of having worn the pants and rudely responded to me once I told her I hadn't "Yes you did!" Her name is "Nuri" or at least that's what it sounded like when I asked her after I showed her the same pair of pants right off the rack with the same creases behind the knee area, clearly were it marked after someone had tried them on. I rarely shop at this store but I thought I would try it out. I will not be returning. People like her should not be dealing with customers as I'm sure their main goal is customer satisfaction. Super dissatisfied..

I had the worse experience at this location. I barely write reviews but if i can save a female from…read moreshopping here and avoid the experience i just had, i'm going too do just that. I bought a pair of high heel boots with my size being the only one left in stock. They looked liked they have been woren already or had been tossed around. I wasn't crazy about getting them but it was a last minute situation for me and i needed shoes fast. When i spoke to the women up front i asked if i could get a discount on them. She simply didnt even answered my question but basically gave me excuses on how we can get them cleaned up. I said okay. She started grabbing tape and using her hands to dust them off and saying they look good now. I didnt have time so i just asked what was the return policies and bought them and left. I didnt end up wearing them at all leaving me to return them. When i went to go return the shoes the same lady was up front. She tells me the shoes look like they been worn and Dusty. I replied you sold them to me in that condition a few hours ago. She started yelling at the top of her lungs, no i didnt i cleaned them up for you. I asked for my options then. She replied by saying u can take your shoes back that u bought with very nasty attitude still talking about i wouldnt sell shoes that looked worn she mentioned because you did not just try to dust off the shoes and rub down the shoes before selling them to me. Which in my head makes alot of sense. (Not) at this point im asking for the manager and she's saying she is the manger and then taking back that comment by saying my manager isnt here. So these girls were clearly unprofessional and disrespectful i honestly felt almost bullied in a sense from the screaming and hands waving in my face. All because i wanted to return shoes and asked what were my options. Not once did i raise my voice until she placed a finger in my face. You dont treat customers that way. I was a very unhappy customer i asked for her mangers number. I was given a fake number and name. I never had an experience like this ever. The workers and there clothes where rude and disgusting. This store is crossed off on my list and everyone i come across too asking how this store is i will tell them my horrific experience

I've never been more disgusted by the way the owner acted. My daughter went to buy a s16 dress and was treated terribly and left the store crying. She told my daughter she didn't fit in any of the dresses she was going to sell. I was disgusted but tried to smile being that my 15 year old daughter was so upset. She left feeling insecure and didn't even want to shop anymore. 3 weeks later I came back wanting to try and find myself a dress. I knew the treatment my daughter received but thought she was just in a bad mood and I could catch her on a better day. I walked in with my sister and was ignored many times by the lady despite my many attempts to make her focus. She then got angry with me and told me she didn't even know who the dress was for. I proceeded to say that it was for me and she rushed over to me with her measuring tape. She took my measurements and then went on to say she did not have a dress for me and I was too big for anything. My sister already fed up with her attitude decided to leave. This woman has definitely been the nastiest person I've ever seen to work in costumer service. Completely and utterly upset with the treatment and will never shop here again. The saddest thing is she has beautiful dresses and great prices but I refuse to give this woman my money with the treatment I have received. I'd rather spend 3x more money in another place where I am being treated better.
