There were no other customers around. When I asked where to find an item, he stood to poiiiiint in the general direction of the item in the back of the store. That was all he did to offer to "help". I didn't find the item, and gave up. He guy I assumed, went back to his twiddling. I then went to the garden section for mosquito repellent was approached by a delightful young woman who went above and beyond looking for the out of stock item, checking in the back, asking others and finally approaching me again at the checkout line with an alternative solution. Instead, we were given information that turned out to be inaccurate, with no proactive communication about the delay.
