From day one, the whole team made the process so much easier than we could have imagined and we couldn't be more delighted with the results. We worked closely with Michael, Sean, and Tritia every step of the way through meetings at their office, on site walkthroughs, and text and email. I had very specific design ideas I wanted to include and never once felt gaslit or unheard. Coram would do their best to accommodate my ideas and if they couldn't for structural reasons, we would work collaboratively to find a design that worked for the space. Sean's attention to detail and his tech savvy nature was a huge asset throughout the process. Our contractor extraordinaire, Leo, was super reliable and always had a positive attitude. His motto was "there's always a solution" and there is truly not a problem he can't solve. Since we chose to live in our house during the renovation process, we were nervous about dust and noise but the crew was clean and the always respectful. They even worked through a power outage--with their own generator! Francisco, the carpenter, built all our cabinets to our exact measurements. For our wet bar, he took a sketch we came up with and built a masterpiece. In fact, we had planned to save a bit on budget and build our own media center but after seeing his craftsmanship in the kitchen, we knew he had to be the one to build our media center and we are grateful he did! His work is just beautiful--you can tell it's built to last. What I appreciated most was how well everyone worked together. We always felt like our project mattered, and if we had a question or change, the team was quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Now that everything's done, our kitchen and bathrooms not only look amazing but are way more functional too. We honestly couldn't be happier and would 100% recommend Coram to anyone thinking about remodeling.

I struggled with feeling like all my ideas were too wild for my budget, but they were able to discuss things with me in a practical way and explain what we could realistically do. They guided me through the process step by step, first starting with inspiration pictures and then collaborating with me on every decision like kitchen and bathroom layout, the lighting, structural considerations, plumbing changes, flooring options, appliances, the cabinets, the tile, colors, even the placement of the mirrors and knobs. They provided different options to consider within our price range and knew when to discuss potential issues that could come up, things I never would have thought of on my own. Coram found a balance between getting my input while also providing me with professional opinions on what they knew would/would not work. Very collaborative. They do everything in house, the architecture, interior design and contracting work which made communication about the project a breeze. I could trust the project manager to relay important information to me when needed. Now that we are living in our house I keep having moments of noticing details that they worked on that we really love, for example, they put automatic lights in the laundry closet and that's such a nice touch. The hood range they helped us select has an automatic sensor and we were so pleasantly surprised the first time it turned on while cooking. I keep staring at the plumbing and lighting fixtures they helped us pick because they are so beautiful, functional, and they fit in our budget. There was no way I could have managed to pick all those details on my own. The overall feel of the house is exactly what I hoped for and everyone who visits us is amazed at how nice it turned out. I feel like their style is exactly my style--minimal, modern, sleek, incorporating traditional elements when needed--but it's more likely that they are just good at working with their clients to make it exactly their own. I think renovations can be so scary especially if there's a lot you don't understand. We had spoken to several other design teams before this and hiring Coram was the moment when the impossible task suddenly felt possible, they approach everything with a problem solving mindset and will take the time to explain things to you. I met with several contractors and shared my vision with all of them. We ended up picking Prestige after reviewing all the quotes. Prestige wasn't the cheapest but he seemed the most experienced and knowledgeable in bringing that vision to life. It's true what they say - you get what you pay for!!! Amin and his team helped us navigate issues that came up including for example when I ended up not liking the original countertop I had picked before hiring Prestige. I told Amin about the issue and he brought me some samples that aligned with my vision and his design know-how and we were able to move forward without delay. When there was potential issues arising, Amin and his team quickly brought them up to our attention with recommendations. In the end, we love our new bathroom. To create a more open walkway between our kitchen and living room, we needed an extra tall, narrow 30" x 80" European-style refrigerator. As it turns out, the only freestanding model sold in the U.S. that fit our requirements is made by the German brand Liebherr. The frustrating part was that although other retailers near us offered the refrigerator for sale, none of the showrooms had the model on display. But guess who did? Snyder Diamond! So we made our way to Pasadena, and we're glad we did. Linda warmly welcomed us and immediately took us over to the Liebherr refrigerator. It is beautiful, well built and checked every box on our wish list. Linda was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. We ended up walking around the showroom with her, picking her brain about everything from kitchen fixtures to appliances. When I mentioned I was a coffee addict, she even offered me a cup from their built-in Miele machine--a small gesture that reflected the personal service we received. The showroom itself is beautifully organized, with a huge variety of high-quality appliances and fixtures. We highly recommend anyone planning a kitchen or home renovation to visit this family-owned business. They've been in business for decades, and have an interesting history to share. We contemplated a drive to Home Depot but decided to stop by MD Appliances to see what they might have available. Over ten years ago, we purchased a Wolf stove, SubZero refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher from MD Appliances and we never regretted it one bit. I still remember the installer, Jay, who did excellent work. We were greeted by the owner, Dan, and we informed him what we needed and he showed us the latest LG products in the showroom. It was an easy decision for us to make the purchase there. We placed our order and waited for delivery. I spoke to Dan when he gave me a delivery date which was today. He said his installers Guillermo and Arnold, would call a day prior with the delivery time, which they did and call 30 minutes before the delivery, which they did. Guillermo actually called earlier than expected due to a cancellation so we were able to get our appliances 4 hours early. Dan also said the installers were very good and that I should have no concerns. Well, he was wrong, Guillermo and Arnold were EXCELLENT!!! They were punctual, professional, friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. I fretted about how they would get our two old appliances out and the new appliances in our small washroom with a narrow doorway and up a small porch. Our home is over 100 years old so entrances are smaller than today's standards. Well after I showed Guillermo where the appliances were to be installed, he said it would be no problem. And it wasn't!!! They arrived at 9:30, completed their work, cleaned up and drove off at 10:30. I was truly amazed and impressed. I called Dan immediately to express my admiration and appreciation for these two polite and thoughtful men. Our experience with MD Appliances was a complete success and we are so pleased with our new washer and dryer. Kudos to Guillermo and Arnold for their pride in great customer service.

What a refreshing experience…read more I needed a new washer/dryer and without thinking much about it I bought one online from the LG website. What a nightmare. They didn't show up to deliver then scheduled the next delivery for 2 days later when I wasn't available. All phone calls are routed to the Philippines and no one was able to help me. I cancelled that order and went to MD Appliances. I went in feeling so angry and frustrated with this situation and was treated with such kindness, I left feeling so much better and I also left with a new washer/dryer! They were even able to arrange same day delivery because I live so close. Their prices are the same as the LG site. The store is very clean and welcoming. Definitely a high end appliance store but with reasonable prices. The delivery guys are GREAT too! Super professional, knowledgeable, and fast. My only regret with this whole experience is not looking to buy locally first.
