Great little spot. Been there for lunch many times and the salads and wraps are great, always made fresh with good ingredients. Mediterranean Salad is prob my go to, but the buff chicken wrap is great if I'm seeking the extra carbs. We stopped in for breakfast after our Saturday morning workout. The spinach and feta quiche was on special and delicious. We split some pancakes too which were good (but not great). Another satisfying visit to this friendly, local place. We'll be back for sure.

    Beautiful and delicious sandwiches

They were recommended and I'm so glad I tried them! I used their catering. Easy to order - very reasonably priced. Food was ready - and packed well, on time. The sandwiches were a great variety / not your typical sub or ham. They were amazing and we received so many compliments. They had the best fruit salad and such yummy gooey butter cake!! They are open for lunch too.

The food was amazing! Best quiche ever! The chicken quesadilla and homestead wrap were also delicious. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent service and very good food. Mom runs the front of the restaurant for her son who does his magic in the kitchen.

The Roasted Cauliflower seriously deserves its own fan club. Smoky and just tender enough, this side dish makes me feel like I made a responsible, healthy life choice. The mild corn salsa is bright and cheerful, though I will admit I treat the red peppers like an unwanted guest and politely pick them out, one by one. Their tortilla chips walk that fine line of perfectly salty, without tipping into regret, while the hummus is smooth and mellow. An efficient staff keeps things moving, but if you're introverted - or just don't want to commit to human interaction - the kiosk has your back. Dine inside, or al fresco, with a few patio tables.

It was chilly inside. The food was disappointing. Mine was supposed to have peppers and carrots but they were rare finds (see photos of Thai Bowl) as it was mostly hunks of broccoli with stems and cabbage leaves. Bland and unappealing, not cooked well, especially compared to Hawaii Poke, where the broccoli almost melts in your mouth it's so tender- and no stems. I won't be returning here.

Absolutely loved our breakfast here! My husband and I sat on the patio overlooking the river, and…read morethe view alone made it worth the visit! So peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect start to our morning! What truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Jenn. She was incredible from start to finish!! She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. She made great recommendations, checked on us at all the right times, and went above and beyond in ways you don't see often. My husband is picky about biscuits and gravy, and Jenn kindly brought him a sample of the gravy first to make sure he'd like it...such a small gesture to some people, but truly made it special for my husband. She even sent us off with coffee to go, which we really appreciated!! The food was just as impressive. I had the traditional breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were nice and crispy, Jenn recommended the ham, which was so flavorful and perfectly charred, so good!!! My husband ended up loving his biscuits and gravy! Between the amazing service, delicious food, and relaxing riverfront setting, this was easily one of our favorite breakfast experiences. Jenn truly made it memorable, and we'll definitely be asking for her every time we come back. Can't wait to return!!

What a charming cafe in the middle of a charming Downtown area!…read more It was freezing the morning we went in, but I was wanting breakfast - specifically pancakes. I had this place in the bookmarks and figured now was the best time to visit. Parking can be an issues in Downtown St. Charles since it is limited to street parking or public parking a few blocks away. We found parking right in front of FPC, mainly because it was a cold, Monday morning. We were greeted immediately, and inside was much smaller than I expected. We got seated right away though, and a good chance to really review the menu. I got a house coffee (delicious), and my husband got a Purple Haze Lemonade. We ended up getting a kid's pancake with bacon and scrambled eggs, Short Rib Breakfast Stack, and a Bomb Burrito. The pancake for my 2 year old was MASSIVE so it was a good day for him lol. The short rib stack was yummy - hash browns with runny eggs and meat on top. The burrito was also pretty good. Our breakfast entrees came with a side order of potatoes and while it was good, it got saltier over time so I might not get that next time. They advertise beignets, so we might go for that next time and try out their lunch menu!

Mustttt go! The…read moreservice was nice and quick. The restaurant has a lot of seating, so it's great for big groups or small parties of course. The food tastes like my childhood, I love the variety in the menu and the classics. I've had the bun bo hue, pho, vermicelli bowl, and fried shrimp rolls. I highly recommend the classic pho (dac biet - special) and if you're looking to try something new then definitely try the bun bo hue.

I ordered the Grilled Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli (Bun) entree, the 2x Pork and Shrimp Spring…read moreRolls appetizer and 3 layer bean drink dessert. In total, the cost was $33. I received the order within 10 minutes, so quite quick service. While Viet Pho makes reasonable Vietnamese food facsimiles, it just a little off from being genuine. For example, the $15.50 Vermicelli Bun needed some mint leaves to make it more authentic. The pork wasn't exactly char grilled. The egg roll was a little too mushy. Though, they did include peanuts, onions, lettuce, carrots, sprouts and fish sauce. Overall, this dish tasted good despite the missing ingredients. 3.5 out of 5 stars. The $6.25 Spring Rolls x2 were reasonably authentic, but were rolled too loosely. Once bit into, most of the interior ingredients fell out, making it rather difficult to dip into the included sauce without the entire roll falling apart. Also, the authenticity of this sauce was odd. Instead of being a standard peanut sauce, it tasted like it was made with bananas and had an odd flavor profile. This appetizer tasted quite good despite these issues. 3 out of 5 stars also. The $8.25 three layer bean drink dessert is also a good facsimile, but misses the mark in some places. The red beans used should have been sweetened, but were not. The beans used in this drink were large red kidney beans when smaller sweet red beans are typically used in more authentic versions. These red beans even seemed salted. I'd have been fine with kidney beans if they had been sweetened. The bean, coconut, ice, and jelly flavor of the drink dessert was fine overall. 4 out of 5 stars. The meal was overall filling, but I've certainly had better. For the prices and the missed ingredients, it's just not authentic enough. I can't speak for their Pho soups, only these items above. Would I visit again? Yeah, but only if I had a strong craving for Bun. I will visit again and try their soups. Look for that updated review in the future.
