I am just not sure how to rate Casa Lola…read more.. My wife called at 10 to ask if they were open yesterday, (Sunday) as they were scheduled to serve brunch. She was told they open at noon?? Yet their website states the following: Sunday: 10:00 AM-9:00 PM I do see they have 4 stars overall. I gave it 5 stars a year and a half ago. It definitely doesn't warrant 5 stars. The scheduled hours in the front window area is missing half of the numbers. The threshold is filthy. The knife in my roll-up had something crusted on it. And we were told very nicely, by our server Johana, that she hoped the Chef would come back, as he had left earlier. Whew...he came in after we were there about 10 minutes. We arrived at 4:00. And the last irritant...the music sound level. I wanted to ask Johana to turn it down, but just put it off. We were told at 10:00 Casa Lola becomes a night club...fine, but at 4:00 on a Sunday. Johana was terrific and the food was good. My Al Pastor Tacos were okay. Not great, but not bad. Black beans and rice accompanied all of the dishes and they also were good...not great. My wife, being a vegetarian, had the Enchilada's stuffed with carrots and potatoes. She loved the sauce, even though it had queso fresco on top, as she had requested none be served. Again, Service 5 stars, Food 4 stars, Misc. 0 stars It will be interesting to see if the restaurant is open one year from now.

I stopped coming as much because I changed jobs. Unfortunately, I met two old coworkers here for lunch today and this was my official last day supporting you. $80 for 3 people for lunch????!!!! $25 for a danggum Dagwood sandwich????!!!! We literally had a sandwich, burger, breakfast skillet and 3 sodas for $80...$99 with tip, which included a 3.5% surcharge for the use of a credit card. This is the kind of greed that sends business like you into extinction. Please know that I will not be back and I will encourage everyone that I know to not frequent you guys. You can't charge higher prices in f'ed up FG than they do in LO, PDX, Beaverton or anywhere else in the state. Enjoy the ridiculous cash grab while you can for some rather mediocre fare.

Fue una experiencia muy decepcionante; no creo que sea un lugar al que valga la pena ir si lo que buscas es algo que justifique la espera.

I tried the Daiquiri Thanh Long | Dragonfruit, and the white rum was exquisite. Best white rum I've ever had. Most daiquiri drinks I've had in the past are average at best. Plenty of affordable drink combinations for the average Pacific University student that wants a higher quality drink with respectable prices. 10/10! You will not regret this!

We walked in here on a whim and that was the best decision we made this morning!…read more We got two Vietnamese coffees (husband had to get another after seeing mine), beef stew and the vegan wontons with bok choy and pumpkin noodles. The noodles were sumptuous and quite unlike I had ever tasted before. The veggie wontons I believe are a family recipe and whoever says vegetarian food can't be good, should eat these wontons. The noodles with a bit of wonton and the bok choy all coated in delicious chili oil was the perfect bite that I'll savor and think about for a long time. The husband's beef stew was beautifully crafted with a depth of flavor and tender pieces of meat and carrots. With that came the best possible baguette to sop up all that wonderful stew. Dustin and Yen (the couple that runs the place) are warm, inviting and enterprising people. Eating here seems like eating in their home where every item is made with the utmost love and attention. They have an expansive and creative drink menu as well which have nonalcoholic options. The menu changes every day which is fun and something to look forward to each visit. Needless to say we will be back again!! If you're in the area pop on by and support this delicious local and authentic place.

This was my first time trying Cornerstone, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I ordered the Lumberjack Burger with a side of fries, while my partner got the A-Rok Burger with a side of tater tots. The second they handed me the bag, it smelled absolutely incredible. We couldn't wait to dig in. The fries and tater tots were immaculate, perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. As for the burgers... oh my goodness. They were juicy with the perfect amount of grease, had an amazing char-grilled flavor, and were topped with fresh lettuce and tomato that tied everything together perfectly. This is definitely going to be one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving a really good burger. For around $40 for two meals, I honestly can't complain. Great service, great food, and an all-around wonderful first experience. I can't wait to come back!
