Stopped by for a basic part for my tow bar. Their parts department is very limited, but they did suggest 2 other places I could try.

I can't speak to the service department or any of the other branches of the business, but my wife…read moreand I recently purchased an RV from the Manteca location (online sales and financing was through the Palm Springs location with Will and Chloe). Our expectations were (and always should be) weary on such a large purchase and dealerships often have a way of leaving a bad taste in your mouth. After dealing with Chloe and Will, I can say I recommend doing business with them. I was pretty straight to the point about my expectations and they were able to make it happen with very little headache. Extended service contract offers and add-Ons are going to be a sell, no matter where you go, but we found a solution that worked for us through our deal and in the end, we have the RV we always dreamed of owning. Will, ensured that the additional items that were negotiated in the deal were delivered to my house as promised. Chloe was very responsive throughout the process and would always call or text back quickly. Each visit was pleasant and when someone didn't know the answer they were honest and didn't BS. They made effort to fix minor details we had issues with. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend.

The whole office was very attentive while we made our purchase in December 2025. We bought a brand new 2026 class A motorhome. We ended up adding the extended warranty, which we immediately regretted, we have had so much trouble getting that to show up in our account. It was a stupid overpriced purchase, but we did it, and took the hit. Mike in finance said not to worry, he would be there to help us out with anything. The morning we picked up the motorhome with its "red carpet" walk-through event, the guy going over the motorhome had just started that morning, he knew nothing about our rig. We asked questions about the wineguard router, which was a big selling point, he said it wasn't necessary to use that- just use your phone as a hotspot... he didn't know if we had hydraulic levels or not. He didn't know if there was a dashcam. He didn't look these things up, just told us we will figure it out We took a long trip for the holidays and were making a list of questions for them. Luckily, on the one month anniversary of our purchase, Mike from finance called and asked how it was going. We thanked him for his call and started with our list of questions. He said he would have someone from service call us with the answers. We never heard from him again. We already had a service appointment for mid February. So we brought the rig with our list. Casey went through the whole list with us, he seemed to understand what we were asking. He said to leave it there, it may take a week or two. We had completely cleaned it before dropping it off, including emptying the black tank and the gray tank. We made sure the tanks were empty and flushed. This was important to us. Casey called the next day to clarify some things. After 4 weeks, we called Casey to see how things were going. We were told Casey was no longer with the company, so the service manager would callus. Nobody was working on it that entire month. We had to go through the whole list again and it was clear not much would be happening. We picked it up another 2 weeks later, everything was half ass and cheat. But we wanted to get our rig out of there. So we picked it up mid March and took it to our storage place and parked it. Now 2 months later we picked it up from storage to go on trip. We noticed the black tank shows 2/3 full. They must have been using it as an outhouse the whole six weeks it was there. Now their shit has been sitting in it for 2 months, exactly what we were avoiding. We didn't think to check when we picked it up. WTF! So I called the General Manager, he made sure to introduce himself when we were buying the RV. Now he send the call to voicemail and doesn't return the call. I called Michael in Finance, guess what?! He is no longer with the company! So not only is it a caca company, they Literally piled pounds of their caca into our RV and left it for us to deal with. They show no respect for their customers once the sale is complete. Do Not Buy Here. They'll caca all over you. Grab your wallet and RUN away. I hope this helps somebody. -Laura

We put a deposit down 2 weeks prior to picking it up so an electric tow mechanism could be installed and we ordered a sway bar. Got there at 9:30, saw the rig, done with finance by 10:30. Keep in mind we drove 150 miles to get the rig so long drive back. When they went to install the sway bar they noticed the ball on the tow hitch they provided was a 1/16 smaller than the tow receiver. Off he went up to Tractor Supply to get the correct size ball. 40 minutes later he's back-puts the new hitch on and now the chains are too short. Off he went to Tractor Supply with him saying it would be about 10 minutes. An hour later and one order to Jersey Mike's because we were starving he arrived and we finally got hooked up by...1:45. So 3 1/2 hours after we wrapped with finance they had us out the door. After asking the manager, Joe, a few times, where the gentleman went to we got answers from "He had to go to a second store" to "Well we don't sell alot of these." Well... it's on your lot and you had two weeks from when we put a deposit down to make sure the correct items were ordered and ready. We asked if maybe they'd like to give back some of the $275 we spent getting a black hose etc and Steve s Joe would honor a credit back on our our purchase for the time and inconvenience But no email, no credit back. Nothing. Crickets. There's a reason their Yelp ratings are low compared to others. Honestly look elsewhere...do better Joe. That was not okay.

Family-owned and operated, and an outstanding experience from start to finish!…read more The entire process was smooth and stress-free. Their website had detailed information on all of their coaches, trailers, and fifth wheels, which made it easy to narrow down what we were looking for. I had a few follow-up questions about a fifth wheel, and they responded right away. When we went to see it in person, Juan walked us through every detail of the fifth wheel. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained where everything was and how it worked. I was honestly a little overwhelmed--this 39-foot, 2022 Raptor was much bigger and fancier than anything I'd ever owned (my previous RV was a well-loved but aging 2004 Bounder!). We made an offer, signed the paperwork, and waited about a week for everything to be ready. During that time, we had Riverside Hitch install the new B&W hitch we needed for towing. They did an excellent job and offered the best price we found. When we returned for delivery, the Raptor was washed, hooked up, and ready for our final walkthrough. The loan documents were prepared and the financing process was incredibly fast. We even received a better interest rate and lower payments than we expected. We had looked at after market warrantees but the company they offered was a better price and way better coverage. We were in and out in about an hour, which was a blessing since we had driven from Colton and had to tow this beast home for the very first time! I pray for KARV's continued success. They truly earned our business, and I've already recommended them to three friends and family members who are looking for newer RVs. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again!

Our Story: My husband and I have been looking for a specific model luxury fifth wheel and we found one on-line consigned by KARV. Over the phone we began an initial discussion with Juan. He answered our questions completely. What he didn't know, he worked on finding the information we asked for. We agreed to a fair price based on our expectations and made a deposit to hold it until we could fly from out of state to see the unit. Unfortunately when we arrived and walked thru, we found that it was not what we had hoped for. Juan was professional and helpful throughout our decision making process. He tried to resolve some of our issues with the unit, but never made us feel uncomfortable about our final decision.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this dealership…read more I have purchased over 100 vehicles in my lifetime in business. And I've never had such a wonderful group of guys work with me like the folks at Mike Thompson RV did. From the first moment we walked on their lot until the time we drove away in our new motor home, it was ALL good! Clint is a low pressure salesman who let us wander through the lot without pressure. Super nice fella as well! When we found the one we wanted, Chris and Anthony worked extremely hard to get a great price and extraordinarily good financing package for us as well. Josh was perfect at adapting the RV to our liking and was patient with us as we asked questions during the walk through. David was so kind to help Colton get the motor home out of the lot and give some driving instructions. I highly recommend Mike Thompson RV in Cathedral City especially these 5 guys! We bought our first motorhome at another dealership that had many locations and is extremely well-known. They weren't near as helpful as the guys at Mike's place were. We love the new motorhome and we will give them all of our future business as well as recommend them to everyone we know in the market for an RV. Thanks again guys, y'all are the best in the west!

Chris the sales manager is the most dismissive person around. He does not give one shit about his clients, and it clearly showed. Anthony the finance manager, lacks empathy in his apologies when confronted with the poor treatment received by Chris, and the absolute lack of communication, and blatant dismissal of my requests. Then there is Josh the blatant liar who lied to me in text when I was confirming that the due bill work had been completed and our RV was ready for delivery. He was even stupid enough to send me a picture of work that had not been done, while telling me it was actually done. Mind you, we were CASH PAYING CUSTOMERS. We had to beg for wiring information, Chris and Anthony downright ignored my requests for Extended warranty information. Josh flat out lied, both verbally and in writing. Our new RV was scratched when it was taken out for fuel. It was delivered with a chip and crack in the windshield and an aqua hot system that required over $2k in repairs just days after we took delivery. These people are liars, they are dismissive, demeaning, and disrespectful. If you are wise, you will run like hell from this Mike Thompson's RV because if they allow just one location to be this dishonest and deceitful, I am sure they will allow it at all of their locations.

I dropped it off on Tuesday and didn't get much communication. Called to get a status and I had to talk to a machine because this dealership won't even spring for a receptionist. I'm giving four stars because after the conversation, the communication dramatically improved and I picked my vehicle up the next day. I'm not sure I can pin the delays on the service writer because I know vehicles can get stuck in never never land in the shop. Jesse finished the race properly and I commend him for that. He doesn't have an easy job. I definitely recommend getting rid of the AI receptionist. I definitely recommend having a small loaner fleet for the customers that drive your 60+ thousand dollar vehicles. It's not like GMC is not compensating the dealership for loaners. Nobody wants to drive to a rental car company in an Uber and fill out a bunch of paperwork for an overnight loaner. It might be convenient for the dealership, but it's not convenient for the customer. I definitely recommend getting some type of auto update texting app that other dealerships have, that makes you aware of the repair process at each stage. I do not recommend making customers bringing brand new vehicles in for warranty work sign an estimated cost of repairs. It made me uncomfortable, and I can't be the only one. I recommend that you don't offer people discounts on the GMC app when they schedule their appointments, and then make them fill out a bunch of paperwork to receive these discounts via a prepaid debit card... you don't do that when you're selling new trucks with rebates. your team is only as good as their leader. People hate gimmicks, and people hate being nickel and dimed. I think a few of these problems are coming from the top not from your service writers. I have a supreme respect for people that shoot me straight with no nonsense. I would encourage your dealership to reevaluate the way you process the service department experience. How do you want to be treated when you drop your vehicles off for repair?
