I Have never given any company a bad review before, but here it goes. Back in June, I was looking for an RV with a certain layout inside that was desired. I could not find one within my budget in Co., but one popped up at Blue Compass RV in Palm Desert, CA. I emailed my interest to the company, and a salesperson, Chloe Nolan, called me and we started conversing about this RV. I had her take several pictures, and it looked like what I was looking for, a 2017 Fleetwood Bounder 35K. It piqued my interest as it only had 10,400 miles on it. From the pictures, I did not see any flaws in the paint, and it looks very nice except that it had the original tires on it, and the driver's seat needs to be re-upholstered. Buying from a dealer that was going to service it and make sure everything was in good operating condition, we negotiated a price that I was happy with, and they agreed to put new Tires on and re-upholster the driver's chair. I put a deposit on it and purchased airline tickets for my partner and me to fly down the following week to check it out. I purchased the non-refundable tickets and gave them the flight info for pick up. That weekend, Chloe called and said it would not be ready the day we fly in, but would be available the next day, and they would cover a hotel room for the evening. This was agreeable. The next day, after we flew in and spent the night , we were picked up at the hotel and driven to the dealership. The RV was still not ready. We were told that it just came back from getting the new tires on and the RV, and it needed to be cleaned. I never did get a reimbursement for the hotel room even though I faxed them the hotel bill. At that point, we spent time with Michael Melikian doing the paperwork and waiting for us to do a walk-through to make sure everything was working and hopefully take it out for a spin. After several hours, we were escorted out to the RV, which they were still cleaning. We took a quick look at the inside and outside. There were several large scratches on the paint on one side, and a storage unit had a bent door. I was not too worried about those being a used RV. Well, when they finished cleaning, we went back out to go through everything. I was escorted around the RV, and was shown all the operations. 1 side camera and the backup camera had malfunctions. The driver's seat had a tilt to the left and was not parallel to the dashboard. Also the back bathroom toilet would not flush He advised me they worked and it and that he would let the technicians know and take care of it. (later after bringing it to Co they found it had been unplugged and was losing air causing the Vacflush to cycle ever few minutes. They said they did not have time to fix the cameras, but I could take it to their Blue Compass here in Colorado, and they would pay them to take care of it. The motor home was not cleaned to our satisfaction, so they brought people back to reclean. At this time, we went back to take care of paperwork and were assured that it would be ready to go in an hour or so. Well come to 6 PM-ish we were to told that it had to driven to the Arizona Border to finish all the paperwork and get it notarized. Then Mike brought in the GM Willy and they were trying trying to sell us a extended warranty insurance policy but I explained to them I had already purchased a warranty through goodsam and I was happy with that. A couple of hours later, we were told that it was ready. When we got back to the RV, I was expecting to drive it to the state line, but was told No, you have to follow us in a pickup truck that belonged to the Driver of the motor home. At this point, we had been at the dealership for 9 hours waiting. I was a little Leery, but Mike made me feel comfortable that everything was good to go. So I paid the cash for it and we drove following the RV to the Border. I was assuming that we would be signing the title. Nope, it was paperwork declaring that the RV was sold in Nevada, so we would not have to pay CA TAX. So then it dawned on me that this was a consignment RV and they never put it into the dealership's name. Oh well, we came this far, and I was assured everything was good to go. So I had a bill of sale and title work from the dealership and a receipt, so I assumed it was ok. At that point, we were tired and decided to stay in a hotel across the street. The next morning, we started our journey to Co. Once we got onto the freeway, this thing was bouncing all over, and every little bump seemed like a foot deep pot hole and believe me, the seat bugged the shit out of me, not facing level with the dashboard. I called Mike several times and told him about all this and he said he would let the GM know. It started to get worse, so I googled some causes, and one was the tire inflation. I decided to stop at a Blue Compass in Albuquerque to see if they would check the air pressure in the tires, and it turned out they were all over the place, from 125 PSI to as read more
