This place is a one stop shop for trailer repair. They were kind, helpful, got the job done and definitely understood the assignment! I do not have a shiny new trailer and I'm trying to hold it together one piece at a time. They did body work as well as replaced all 4 leaf springs. I cannot be happier! read more

A very nice setting with nice amount of room between spots. Very friendly staff. My only complaint is the requirement to move from one spot to another which numerous guests had to do. It really didn't make any sense. That part could be managed much better. read more

What a wonderful family owned business. My wife brought our sprinter van in for diagnosis of a non-running generator. Though they were not able to fix the generator due to parts needed and our departure plans, They were courteous, professional, quickly diagnosed the problem and did not charge us anything. Contrast that to the other three repair places we called who wanted $150+ to just look at it. When we return to the desert next year, we will use this shop for any repair needs. Joe P read more

I was in desperate need of repairs.I couldn't open up my flush tank handles.I called Venlo ,they said to send pictures of the gate valves,I did they said bring it in and we will take care of the installation. It was completed in 2.5 hours.I didn't mind the drive to the desert, and played a little golf.I would drive out again for them to work on the coach read more

BEWARE!!!!!!L They ask you to measure things for them if you are ordering parts. Then when they orderTHE WRONG PARTS they blame it on you. DO NOT MEASURE anything for them. They did this with some fenders I bought.$390.00 later I do not have the right size fenders and they blamed it on me!!!!! BEWARE BEWARE read more

Our trailer broke, an equalizer shackle broke between the front and rear leaf spring. We were traveling from Ocotillo wells and discovered the problem when we stopped to eat. We found MR.RV on yelp. He was so nice and polite and funny. Just a hard working guy. We recommend him if you need a repair. Thankful we found him, we are not from the area. read more

Needed replacement springs for the auto leveling jacks. None near us so they had to order. Arrived in the allotted time frame, great with supply chain getting back up I was concerned read more

The repair on my RV was a total rip off to the insurance company and the repair job was a total mess , wrong paint colors twice and still are, all storage doors not working right, struts in backwards, things missing in compartments that had no damage to things inside, electric cord looked like it had been driven away while still plugged in and so much more, I totally gave up and will not ever go back there again as they have always overcharged me anyway !!!! I do not recommend them, you would be much better off to go to Mexico for collision repairs read more

I needed a trailer light wiring harness installed on my Toyota Rav4. Raul was the man for the job. I dropped it off and they called me that it was done about two hours later. Wow! What a great place! I had a bad experience with a local mobile RV mechanic trying to repair my hot water heater on my class C motorhome. I needed it fixed quickly. I called Benlo's/Mr. RV Works and even though they were booked solid for the next couple of weeks, Jessica got me in without an appointment. The motorhome was repaired quickly and at a very reasonable cost. My experience with Benlo's/Mr. RV Works was fantastic. I am very happy the company is local and I look forward to working with Benlo's/Mr RV Works again in the future. read more

UPDATE: Two weeks later I noticed that the caulking around the fan, on the roof of my trailer, had ruptured, exposing the seam. It had rained in the interim letting water in and damaging my trailer. I called and asked what I should do about it. They said I could bring it back in to have it re-sealed, but I was no longer in the area. I asked for a partial refund - just to cover the cost of having it re-caulked - and he said no. ** Then he told me he liked my yelp review and told me to f&%k off ** Verrrrry unprofessional on top of poor customer service and sloppy workmanship. I highly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. read more

This place is amazing! We were stuck on the side of the road in the heat for 4 hours and they referred us to a great tow company (Plaza Towing) to get us to them. They stayed open late and went out of their way to help us and our 3 dogs, replaced our bearings, fixed our broken brakes and hub and even loaned us one of their personal cars to take a tire to get replaced. Got us back on the road in no time!! Highly recommend this family owned business. read more

Knowledgeable and very helpful. They know how to help with any rv issues. And their prices are great.

I had Benlo RV replace the cooling unit on my Norcold 1200 RV refrigerator. Repair technician Greg did fantastic work, and I couldn't be happier with the service or their performance. The entire job was done with no damage or scratches to my coach inside or out....and trust me, the refrigerator weighs about 220lbs and they have about 1 or 2 inches clearance max. It's a tough job!! Greg was great! I had called Jackie several times prior to scheduling my service because I was having the cooling unit drop-shipped to Benlo and I wanted to be sure there were no problems or issues (since I live about 140 miles away). Jackie was pleasant to deal with on the phone, knowledgeable, and took great care of me and at a price that was much lower than anyone closer to home. She's wonderful to deal with in person, too! My only regret is that Benlo is 140 miles away.... I wish it was much closer so I could make it my 'go to' RV repair place!! Make an appointment today and you won't be disappointed. read more

Plaza towing towed our 5th wheel here after a bracket on the leaf spring snapped. Raul fixed it and strengthened the others. Our trip to Ocotillo Wells would have be ruined without them getting the job done quickly and throughly. The place doesn't look like much but the work could not have been better! read more

Benlo Rv recommended as a service where I might get solar solution for my rv. From my initial contact, to follow up, to estimation of my needs, Greg and staff were helpful and beyond. Although they were not able to make a sale, due to back order, I will keep them in mind for future rv purchases, and maintenance. read more

Good people, fair and they get you back on the road quickly! I had bought a used RV and they did a few repairs including the refrigerator for me. I called their place afterwards because I was having problems getting the weight distribution bars on. They talked me through it and gave me some tips to make it easier. As a woman, you don't always get treated fairly and sometimes you get the feeling they don't want you to ask too many questions, but Benlo was patient, and very helpful. Thanks to the whole team at Benlo RV! read more

Thank you very much to Benlo RV. If you need something, anything give them a call. They probably have it. We needed an electrode and a circuit board for our trailer's fridge, they had it in stock. Today, we are leaving to go home & the leaf spring broke on our friend's four year old trailer. We called Benlo & thank goodness they had it in stock. They're less than an hour away from Ocotillo Wells, extremely convenient. Replaced it at camp & we're on our way home. They deserve more than five red stars! You guys are awesome! read more

Thank You Benlo! This is far and away the best RV service we have ever had. We're on our second RV. Benlo is honest, competent, fast, friendly and better than reasonably priced. OK, it's not a pretty and modern looking place, but these are the folks that really know how to service and care for your RV. If you own an RV you already know how difficult it is to get any service scheduled (often waiting weeks for an appointment) and then have the repairs actually done right, and not pay a king's ransom. For 15 months and seven return trips, the dealer we bought our RV from tried to get our Dometic refrigerator to work on AC current. It has always worked great on Propane and Battery, but not on AC. So we finally took it to another dealer that sells the same RV brand. First they tried to sell us a new refrigerator at over $2000 (ours is only 5 months old and, as mentioned, works great on propane and battery) or to charge us $1100 to replace the faulty circuit board. These are costs beyond what our extended warranty covered. We contacted Dometic directly, whose excellent warranty and helpful people covered a replacement circuit board. Greg at Benlo replaced the faulty board in an hour. He asked to keep the RV overnight to make sure it kept on cooling on AC. It did and it does on: AC, battery and propane; and switches to the proper power source automatically! The cost $50. Yes, $50. Not over $2000. Nor $1100. Nor did it take several trips to service. Just one hour and it works perfectly. How can you not love these folks. P.S. Please look at all of Benlo's 5-star YELP reviews from RV owners There is one negative review from an RV renter. read more

Called last week as I am taking my trailer to Phoenix over Thanksgiving and wanted to have my wheel bearings inspected, repacked or replaced before going. We were referred to Benlo RV by a couple we bought our very first camper from. As RV virgins, we knew NOTHING about campers or RVs (including how to get a truck camper on a truck bed). Because it was a vintage camper, we thought it should be checked out and we took up the recommendation, because what do you do when you know nothing about RV's or RV service and repair? We are so glad we did. Benlo completely rewired our camper and installed new lights, a new propane tank, checked the propane lines, and repaired one of the roof vents (rather than replace it). They also installed rear end air bag shock absorbers to the rear of our Ford Ranger, to be sure the truck drove evenly, smoothly, and had enough support for the camper. So, although we take our cross country maiden voyage this week, and can't yet attest to the quality of the work done (which we fully expect will prove to be excellent), I am giving a five star review to Benlo for their savvy customer relations practices. Even if our camper burns to the ground, or explodes, we would likely go back to Benlo because they gained our total confidence in the way the way they interacted with us and explained what they were doing, and why. They were friendly and seemed to understand that good public relations can overcome any differences that can often arise in business. They KNOW customer service!! And that is a very rare thing out here in the desert where getting screwed by contractors and all services is a very common experience. Good for Benlo for being on top of their game! read more

Jeff and the repair crew at Ben Lo RV are the best. Helpful, informative, knowledgeable and always go above and beyond to make repairs right the first time. We took our trailer in for multiple issues, from brakes to electrical and all was repaired quickly and done WELL for a lot less than we expected. They also have a lot of parts in their showroom and I thought they had a better variety than the Camping World store we had visited a few months before. We had one of our air conditioners replaced here. We were able to easily make reservations and they had the right parts available in time for our appointment. These people have no customer relation skills what so ever or could care less about their customers. After my accident I did the inspection on my toy hauler. Raul only repaired what I told him but not everything. He never did an inspection. If you want everything stolen out of your RV this is the place to go. When I noticed my contents stolen, Raul never apologized or acted concerned. They could care less. All he said was it wasn't his guys. He called me on March 17 2021 and states he needs a key to my RV to check and see if the water tank was working properly. The RV was suppose to be ready on March 19th. Tried to mail a key but it wasn't going to be there till the 19th. RV has sat there since December 28th. I showed up the next morning to give him a key and he proceeds to tell me I left my door open. Why would he need a key then. I locked my deadbolt to the garage and a slide prevented access to bedroom and garage. All RV repair shops have master keys but it won't open a door locked by deadbolt. Feel Ike they needed my key to finish taking everything else. I had $6000 worth of tools and other contents stolen. I do not recommend anyone to use them. read more

My bedroom slide out on my 2006 Winn Tour was creeping out on its own after sitting a day or so. Called a local mobile RV (advertised as military vet) twice and spoke with him saying he would call me back, never called. As it turns out the slide outs are not easy to fix. Well Benlo of Indio RV had no problem in fixing it and for less money than my wife expected. This operation currently is really good at what they do. Everyone I came in contact was very pleasant, I wouldn't bother going elsewhere for repairs. And I'm a Vietnam Vet. read more

As a single lady with a 2011 24' Itasca Navion RV I find honesty a small commodity when taking my rig to be fixed by anyone. However that is definetly not the case with the folks at Benlo RV in Indio, CA. I had just come from a horrendously bad experience with an RV company in Palm Desert, CA via National Insurance and was very nervous at going to another and getting conned and ripped off again. Raul aka "Mr. RV" could not have been more helpful, more honest or more reasonable in price. My slide out would not go in ...He knew just what to do and Voila fixed it. I needed my dump valves replaced...again he knew exactly what to do and even gave me a lesson as to the problem. They had been installed wrong from the factory. In addition to what I hear are highly competent repairs, they have a nicely stocked store with parts and accessories. The other primary option in the desert is sunbird. So if one doesn't have your part, check the other. Both stores are modest compared to camping world, though most stores anywhere are anyway. I've been surprised to be able to find parts I thought they wouldn't have. Storage of RVs is also available through benlo, both inside and outside. Reasonable prices. Friendly folks. read more

Well , that was a pleasant surprise ! I needed to have a slide out looked at. Greg had it figured out in minutes. Since he needed charge for a billable hour , we started on a list of small "gremlins" which he diagnosed and fixed them , and the ones that were deeper problems he showed me what to do to fix them myself. The service was so excellent here , that if I can , I'll save all of my "problems" for them and drive the miles. read more
