What a wonderful family owned business. My wife brought our sprinter van in for diagnosis of a non-running generator. Though they were not able to fix the generator due to parts needed and our departure plans, They were courteous, professional, quickly diagnosed the problem and did not charge us anything. The repair on my RV was a total rip off to the insurance company and the repair job was a total mess , wrong paint colors twice and still are, all storage doors not working right, struts in backwards, things missing in compartments that had no damage to things inside, electric cord looked like it had been driven away while still plugged in and so much more, I totally gave up and will not ever go back there again as they have always overcharged me anyway !!!! UPDATE: Two weeks later I noticed that the caulking around the fan, on the roof of my trailer, had ruptured, exposing the seam. It had rained in the interim letting water in and damaging my trailer. I called and asked what I should do about it. They said I could bring it back in to have it re-sealed, but I was no longer in the area. I asked for a partial refund - just to cover the cost of having it re-caulked - and he said no. ** Then he told me he liked my yelp review and told me to f&%k off ** Verrrrry unprofessional on top of poor customer service and sloppy workmanship. This place is amazing! We were stuck on the side of the road in the heat for 4 hours and they referred us to a great tow company (Plaza Towing) to get us to them. They stayed open late and went out of their way to help us and our 3 dogs, replaced our bearings, fixed our broken brakes and hub and even loaned us one of their personal cars to take a tire to get replaced. I had Benlo RV replace the cooling unit on my Norcold 1200 RV refrigerator. Repair technician Greg did fantastic work, and I couldn't be happier with the service or their performance. The entire job was done with no damage or scratches to my coach inside or out....and trust me, the refrigerator weighs about 220lbs and they have about 1 or 2 inches clearance max. It's a tough job!! Greg was great! I had called Jackie several times prior to scheduling my service because I was having the cooling unit drop-shipped to Benlo and I wanted to be sure there were no problems or issues (since I live about 140 miles away). Jackie was pleasant to deal with on the phone, knowledgeable, and took great care of me and at a price that was much lower than anyone closer to home. She's wonderful to deal with in person, too! Good people, fair and they get you back on the road quickly! I had bought a used RV and they did a few repairs including the refrigerator for me. I called their place afterwards because I was having problems getting the weight distribution bars on. They talked me through it and gave me some tips to make it easier. Thank You Benlo! This is far and away the best RV service we have ever had. We're on our second RV. Benlo is honest, competent, fast, friendly and better than reasonably priced. OK, it's not a pretty and modern looking place, but these are the folks that really know how to service and care for your RV. If you own an RV you already know how difficult it is to get any service scheduled (often waiting weeks for an appointment) and then have the repairs actually done right, and not pay a king's ransom. For 15 months and seven return trips, the dealer we bought our RV from tried to get our Dometic refrigerator to work on AC current. It has always worked great on Propane and Battery, but not on AC. So we finally took it to another dealer that sells the same RV brand. First they tried to sell us a new refrigerator at over $2000 (ours is only 5 months old and, as mentioned, works great on propane and battery) or to charge us $1100 to replace the faulty circuit board. These are costs beyond what our extended warranty covered. We contacted Dometic directly, whose excellent warranty and helpful people covered a replacement circuit board. Greg at Benlo replaced the faulty board in an hour. He asked to keep the RV overnight to make sure it kept on cooling on AC. It did and it does on: AC, battery and propane; and switches to the proper power source automatically! The cost $50. Yes, $50. Not over $2000. Nor $1100. Nor did it take several trips to service. Just one hour and it works perfectly. How can you not love these folks. P.S. We were referred to Benlo RV by a couple we bought our very first camper from. As RV virgins, we knew NOTHING about campers or RVs (including how to get a truck camper on a truck bed). Because it was a vintage camper, we thought it should be checked out and we took up the recommendation, because what do you do when you know nothing about RV's or RV service and repair? We are so glad we did. Benlo completely rewired our camper and installed new lights, a new propane tank, checked the propane lines, and repaired one of the roof vents (rather than replace it). They also installed rear end air bag shock absorbers to the rear of our Ford Ranger, to be sure the truck drove evenly, smoothly, and had enough support for the camper. So, although we take our cross country maiden voyage this week, and can't yet attest to the quality of the work done (which we fully expect will prove to be excellent), I am giving a five star review to Benlo for their savvy customer relations practices. Even if our camper burns to the ground, or explodes, we would likely go back to Benlo because they gained our total confidence in the way the way they interacted with us and explained what they were doing, and why. They were friendly and seemed to understand that good public relations can overcome any differences that can often arise in business. They KNOW customer service!! And that is a very rare thing out here in the desert where getting screwed by contractors and all services is a very common experience. Good for Benlo for being on top of their game! read more

These people have no customer relation skills what so ever or could care less about their customers. After my accident I did the inspection on my toy hauler. Raul only repaired what I told him but not everything. He never did an inspection. If you want everything stolen out of your RV this is the place to go. When I noticed my contents stolen, Raul never apologized or acted concerned. They could care less. All he said was it wasn't his guys. He called me on March 17 2021 and states he needs a key to my RV to check and see if the water tank was working properly. The RV was suppose to be ready on March 19th. Tried to mail a key but it wasn't going to be there till the 19th. RV has sat there since December 28th. I showed up the next morning to give him a key and he proceeds to tell me I left my door open. Why would he need a key then. I locked my deadbolt to the garage and a slide prevented access to bedroom and garage. All RV repair shops have master keys but it won't open a door locked by deadbolt. Feel Ike they needed my key to finish taking everything else. I had $6000 worth of tools and other contents stolen. I do not recommend anyone to use them. read more

Went to Belo a few months ago to get a replacement sink for my Tavel Trailer I was ready to by a new one one because my old one had a lil chip, the person at the counter told me that the one I have was a nice one and was hard to find I was really surprised by there honesty and took there word and reinstalled it. However that is definetly not the case with the folks at Benlo RV in Indio, CA. I had just come from a horrendously bad experience with an RV company in Palm Desert, CA via National Insurance and was very nervous at going to another and getting conned and ripped off again. So if one doesn't have your part, check the other. Both stores are modest compared to camping world, though most stores anywhere are anyway.
