Wow, where do I start. This is one of the biggest dumps that I've ever had the misfortune of wasting my time in. It's absolutely disgusting inside, and will leave you feeling like you need to go straight home and take a shower. The place is chock full of drug addicts who stumble in there high as a kite with the few dollars they made under the Kensington el that day. The beer is cheap, but be careful, because they don't have a glass washer. You could end up with some sort of bloodborne pathogen or an ulcer in your stomach from all of the chemicals you'll be drinking. The bar is covered in graffiti, and the bathroom looks like an outdoor latrine at a boy scout camp(P.S. good luck finding toilet paper, they don't stock it). And don't even get me started on the employees - they're miserable, but I can't blame them. I'd be miserable too if I worked in this sorry excuse for a business. I was told they've had about a half dozen bartenders quit this year, and the ones that stay have about ten teeth between them. And for the "management", the old broad with the fake red hair that's shaped like a pear who owns the place, is one of the most miserable people that I've ever had the misfortune of speaking to. She talks to people like they're a piece of garbage, and it's reflected in the trashy clientele and the quality of business she runs. If you're on frankford ave, take a short walk up the street to literally any other bar. Because you'll leave here with nothing but an illness and regret. read more
