    Big red head at curlys

Usually a good spot but the Sunday night bar tender Steve is a bit of a slow bartender I believe this has to do with his extremely oversized head which weighs him down honestly I feel bad for his neck that has to carry that massive red haired head

We came in and it was like stepping into a warm welcome hug of luxury! The beer was cold. A wide variety of tap beer, domestic and imported. You don't even have to ask if there is toilet paper in the ladies room. Your choice of entertainment between shuffle board darts or video games! A Legacy of patrons in the seats and displayed along the walls. No finer place I will return.

For food; we ordered the Shepards Pie and a caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Shepherds pie was delicious, and a great portion size. The shrimp on the salad were a good size and cooked perfectly. The caesar was ok, the dressing is almost on the sweeter side, definitely not my favorite but it was still good overall. The ambiance of the restaurant is fun and clean. There's seating indoors and outdoors, and a bar area with bar table tops/standing room.

The homemade sausage rolls were delicious and came with HP sauce, which is apparently a very big thing in the UK. I had the fish and chips and it was some of the best fried fish I've had. The fries were excellent, the tartar sauce provided was nice, and they have authentic UK malt vinegar to bring you. Yes, please and thank you. T had the French dip that was stuffed with meant and cheese and came with a huge bowl of au jus for dipping. It was outstanding. We were very impressed.

This way it was easy for our group to talk. I saw someone else drinking a drink that looked really good so I just ordered that without looking at the menu. It was in a champagne glass and had an orange peel in it. This drink was delish and I would order it again. I ordered the caesar w salmon. The salad itself was fine but the dressing didn't taste at all like caesar dressing. I still ate the whole thing - but just didn't love the dressing. The bartender was running around like crazy and I felt bad for her that she had to work so hard.

Reviewers rated Moriarty's short ribs highly, and though I hesitated to order risotto take out, I want for it. Sorry, no pics but trust ne when I say it was delish! The portions were great (there were a few spears of asparagus) and the lukewarm risotto (expected considering it was delivered) was creamy and flavorful. There was a but more oil than I would have liked floating at the bottom, and the sauce was a bit salty, but not so much that I couldn't enjoy the super tender morsels of beef. I look forward to trying something else on the menu soon.
