I have been a fan of Wingstop for about 20 years and was thrilled when one opened here in…read moreSpringfield. The original owners did a fantastic job, and I was happy to see someone reopened it after the fire. Unfortunately, it no longer lives up to its previous reputation. There is never enough seasoning, and the order I got last night barely had any. The chicken strips have also changed from a crispy, crunchy exterior to what is now more of a soft breading. Finally, there is an option on DoorDash to have fries and chicken cooked longer, but not once has this been followed since the reopening. As another said, fries are always disappointing as well due to being soft-cooked and under-seasoned. Sadly, I now will only be enjoying Wingstop when I travel outside of Springfield.
