We were looking for a reataurant that would accomodate myself, wife, and 19month old. Most of the area could not accomodate.
A gem amongst the hustle and bustle of the Temple Bar location. We looked in the window and there was very quiet. We asked if there was room for us, and the hostess/waitress said no problem.
The specials looked appetizing as well as most of the menu. Tonights special we had:
Wild mushroom soup
Atlantic salmon
And of course country style Irish stew
On the main menu for starters - Crab toes in a lemon garlic butter sauce
For our little one - spinach cheese and pesto raviolli
What a surprise! ;)
The food was wonderful. The service was impecable. And to top it off, she offered to wash our little ones personal fork.
As dinner progressed, the quaint 30 seat restaurant became quite full. The hostess/waitress/server did a great job watching over the now nearly full restaurant.
When in Dublin - skip the loud, full, overpriced places and visit this new gem. read more
