I get this location is 24/7 and close to a couple of the schools, but they really REALLY need to get those kids under control hanging out there. 11pm and later there are groups just sitting inside screaming and running around like it's a monkey cage. They hang out in the parking lot in groups and don't move for cars, real smart. I will say it's not only this place, it's the Taco Bell in the same area. read more

When you walk in you'll notice the new design restaurant is as inviting as an airport bathroom. Small order took over 25 minutes for in restaurant, and once received it was wrong. Final nail in the coffin was that the burger tasted like they dumped an entire salt shaker on it. I'm just surprised this place has 1.6 stars. read more

Literally the worst food service of any McDonald's I have ever been to. I couldn't even fathom how horrible this place would be. I honestly don't know if it's bad management or the fact that it's just a bad apple in the franchise... for a restaurant in Windermere it's clearly below standards on all levels.. constantly getting food orders wrong.. in some cases putting out orders as if they are personally trying to inflict harm on people.. It's says it's open 24 hrs but if you go at 4am they tell you that's they aren't taking orders. They have don't that a couple of times I wanted to get breakfast before work. read more

This is the worlds WORST McDonald's. And no one seems to care. I have complained to the store manager I have complained to the area manager and I have even reached out to corporate. Nothing had changed. The orders are always wrong or disgusting. I was excited to see the steak bagel back and decided to give them a try. Well HUGE mistake. The sandwich was barely even wrapped and thrown in the bag. I have thrown away so much money ordering from this McDonald's. What do people love about McDonald's? Reliability. I go to any McDonald's around the country and I get the same thing and I get the same no frills service and it tastes the same. This McDonald's definitely has the last part down; what they're missing is the service. This place is supposed to be 24 hours, but it's not open for a solid part of the night and there's really no way to check. This becomes super inconvenient when you're finishing a double shift in the middle of the night and just want something to devour before passing out on your couch with a dog on top of you. My review would turn around to a 4 star if they'd just post accurate hours or staff up. I know there's a labor shortage, but the least you can do is keep accurate hours. read more

11/09/2024 at 4:40 AM in the morning, ordered a simple Big Breakfast with pancakes. Paid for the order and from that time forward to 15 minutes later I watched employees running around the parking lot screaming the "F" word, throwing stuff at each other and cats! Screaming at cars to turn their lights on! Basically farting around instead of taking care of customers! When I got the food, she handed the bag to me and laughed sorry it took so long! I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. They had us wait 10 minutes curbside before I finally went in. The manager wasn't even in a rush to do his job, not to mention anyone else. A couple employees even looked like they were just 'over it'. No initiative and when the manager finally gave me my bag, it was the complete wrong order. I told him directly that he was terrible and he didn't even seem to care but just walked away from me. I had to ask them to find my own order and I felt bad for opening someone else's meal. Curbside service here works well. This is mainly a review of the new chicken sandwich. Since the world has been overtaken by a craze for crunchy spicy chicken sandwiches, I felt it was my duty to try them all and report back. Here are my results: McDonald's is the newest entrant in the spicy crispy chicken sandwich war, with their appropriately named Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich. This turned out to be quite a bit better than I was expecting. They actually went for the spicy, with an attention-getting pepper sauce. The chicken was very tender, if not exactly crispy in a deep fried chicken way, and the pickles were good. Unfortunately the choice of a potato roll that turns to mush as you eat the sandwich was a low point. This sandwich has the lowest calories of all that I tried, at 530. Wendys now has a Spicy Jalapeño Popper Sandwich, and its ingredients are promising. Unlike the others, it contains real slices of jalapeños, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. In fact, all the ingredients were excellent except the chicken. My piece was extraordinarily tough and chewy. I would give it another try, but the bun and the chicken coating weren't all that exciting. 600 calories. KFC: You'd think the original chicken take-out place would have chicken down pat, but this is not one of the better choices. KFC seems to keep changing their sandwich offerings, but they have yet to get it quite right. The Crispy Colonel was a flop, and the replacement I tried was just plain boring. On the bright side, it's probably lower in calories because it is small. Popeyes: The original line-around-the-block chicken sandwich is still the best. The buttermilk coating is crispier than the competitors, as are the pickles, and the spicy mayonnaise has a real kick to it. Also, the toasted brioche bun is sturdy enough that it doesn't disintegrate as you eat it. 690 calories. The winner: Popeyes, because it's actually crunchy and spicy, and on the best bun. read more

Went through the drive thru. Paid for my meal at the 1st drive thru window. Got to the 2nd drive thru window, and the employee told me to go to slot 6. I waited for 25 minutes. Went inside the store and talked to the manager, and explained the situation. 5 minutes later, my order was completed. The manager added 1 large extra fry. I just received a fish filet with a stale bun... clearly it has been sitting past its time, and the fries aren't done. How do you mess up the fries?! Pros: they do mobile ordering and that part is normally pretty quick. The sausage McGriddles and the sausage biscuits are decent. The orange juice is good. Cons: the service is slower than average. Any other food we have ordered besides the ones mentioned above have been not good-to the point where we have thrown it away without eating it. The family thought it should be a 2 star but I couldn't give a place two stars that we frequent often. They do have some good qualities but could use some improvements. read more

Absolutely disgusted. Stopped in for an ice cream tonight on the way home late. Place is crowded and filthy. Asked for counter service to the gal at the register and she told me she was busy so I had to use the kiosk. I do not want to use the kiosk so I waited. She rushed around never looking at me. Finally my boys all came in and we used the kiosk. No receipt printed. Tried to find a table but every single empty one was filthy. Sticky, garbage, floors filthy. Daughter waiting for cups at counter while my husband napkin cleaned the bar area off so we could sit and the guy at the counter ignores her to help a young girl in short shorts. She finally asked him for help loudly and was able to get out cups. This is the McDonald's closest to our home. So very disappointed. I am hoping corporate sees this as this location is in serious need of management. read more

This locations is so bad that it's made me stop going to McDonald's all together. It doesn't matter what you order or what time you go (one time I just ordered a small fry), they will make you park in one of their spots and wait 10-30 mins to get your order. This defeats the whole purpose of getting "fast food". Do NOT go to this location unless you have an hour to spare to wait. read more

7:14 am 2/7/24 A member of the management team (Luke) blatantly LIED to me. An employee had been leaning against the pickup window from the time I rounded the corner, paid for my order, and had a discussion about the guy at the window with the nice lady at the pay window, until the moment I had to honk my horn to get him to move so i could pick up my order. Then Luke LIED by saying the guy was cleaning. When I called out the lie by pointing out what he was actually doing, Luke changed his story. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a McDonald's. I have been here two or three times just due to close proximity to my home and it being one of the few open options late night. I understand that they may be short staffed but every time I have gone it has been a 30-45 minute wait for my food from the time I order it. It is not fast food what so ever. You can tell the employees have also had it as none of them seem to be happy or courteous to the customers. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else or cook at home. read more

Okay. Enough is enough with this McDonalds location. I have had them screw up several times and never made an issue but tonight is the straw that broke the camels back. 10:09pm arrived in the drive thru which was slightly backed up but all the cars in front of me had already ordered. I just needed like 2 more feet to pull up enough to order. 10:11pm order placed. Simple 6pc and McDouble with Big Mac sauce. 10:27pm finally make it to the 2nd window to collect my food 10:33pm food is handed to me. Now we have all had freshly made food at McDonald's and there is a big difference. This was not fresh. The nuggets were barely luke warm and soggy and the burger was barely warm. The only saving grace was that the burger was not rock hard and cold. If I was the manager or operator I would be embarrassed. Even if it is fast food. After ordering my food, I didn't receive anything for around 20 minutes because the staff was busy goofing off. When they finally called my brother's number, I went to grab it and the employees did not close the lid of his soda. Instead they laid it across the top of the drink so when I went to grab it, it spilt EVERYWHERE! My light blue jeans are now stained brown. Then instead of trying to fix the problem, the staff was arguing about who put the drink there. Then with my now ruined pants, cause by the stupidity of the employees which I didn't even get an apology for, I had to sit another 30 minutes in an empty McDonalds for my food. I don't know if it's because I put table service and the employees are just to lazy but when they finally brought it out, it was colder than my water downed sprite. If you enjoy horrible customer service and disgusting food, I recommend! The employees need to do better and whoever was in charge today 9/8/24, do better at managing your staff. read more

Fast food service does not exist in this McDonalds.. It was ridiculously slow. Love their concept of new technology with placing your order thru a machine, grab your ticket and pay at the counter. But it does not help whatsoever when there is only one cashier. Your order doesn't go thru, till you pay... So it's wait after wait after wait. It was a frustrating experience. I'm not a fan of this McDonald's. I'm not giving them this rating because of the food quality. We all know McDonald's has standards, but there are more significant issues. The parking lot is always a mess. The drive thru line gets backed up. The management should put their best people on the drive thru when it's busy (i.e. lunch and dinner). There have been few instances where my order is 100% correct. I always review the screen at the drive thru, and my order always comes out wrong. I'll ask them to have no sauce, but they'll add on one type of sauce. If I ask to substitute the fries for apples slices, I'll get nothing (no fries or apple slices). I wanted to give this location the benefit of the doubt when it was newer, but when you've been open for a while, there's not really any excuse. read more
