First of all their menu board is incorrect. They were advertising the Minecraft movie meal...nope and the drive thru speaker person ridiculed me that they hadn't had that in 10 days...ok. Then I placed our order and was asked to check the screen and it wasn't my order at all and she said AGAIN look at the screen ....and I said it's wrong. She snapped at me that my screen was correct but might not be on that screen?!? WTAF? And oh man the people at the window were hateful too. Made me afraid to eat their food. Geez. read more

Just don't bother. This location cannot maintain good management, so whether you are ordering in, picking up or going through the drive-through, and especially going inside, which I do not recommend because it's always filthy, at least a 20 minute wait unless there are no other customers. I had a manager slam a window in my face this afternoon because I refused to wait in the parking lot for a stupid smoothie that I had already paid for. The last time I fell for that trick, I had to go back in and remind them to make the smoothie. More than once. I don't even know why I went there other than it's close to where I live. The food is gross, the employees are jerks, the management is mentally insane and the service is absolutely terrible. This is the first time in a while that we went to McDonalds. We placed our order in the kiosk. Went to wait for it, food came promptly but the two drinks we ordered was not with our order. Took a few minutes to get someone's attention to let them know. We got our drinks then drove home. Once we were home we saw the forgot one item that we ordered. Since fast food is no longer "affordable" we drove back to get the missing item. The food tasted fine but probably be a while that we will go back again. P.S.....I don't think they had the ac on! Literally the worst product and customer service I've experienced and I've been to McDonald's in several states. The woman didn't even get our order correct before telling us to pull forward to pay. Then my iced coffee was just water, cream and syrup - the drink was white. I had my husband park and walked in. After she supposedly remade the drink and it was the same white color, I told her she could just pour some out and add coffee. She walked around the corner, supposedly made it again then gave me the same drink. I said "it's not even coffee. It's white!" She said "yea, I'm probably gonna have to make more." After having a difficult day, my husband and I grabbed a quick lunch at McDonalds and I inadvertently left my iPhone on the seat. The loss wasn't discovered until an hour later. Having a sinking feeling the phone was gone for good. We called and the nice manager and were told "we have it and it is behind the counter". We rushed back and my phone was handed to me. Slower than molasses on a southern side of the river- they don't say hello The service is extremely slow especially at the drive thru. And when you use the rewards app they look at you strange and when you want a receipt they don't give you one to keep track of your expenses to balance you check book like a normal person does- What is with the orange cone in the one ordering station ? Bye the way we live in Wilmington NC , They steal your money at this McDonald's BEWARE. There November 17th, 2022 placed mobile order at drive through and provided code as always. Person on the other end AFTER taking our order says the machine is down so they could not make a drink as asked and the drink was changed to a Hot Chocolate because of this and the person finished the order at the drive through said pull ahead. Got to the first window they asked if our order which was a drink order only was a food order and named some food items which I said NO, a large Coffee and Hot Chocolate only. The person then says that will be $$$$.00 and request payment and I said this was a mobile order, they replied that it did process as that and required payment. I said NO WAY and Drove off. We went to Dunkin Donuts across the street and got our drinks and they were so much easier to work with and the drinks were much better. So on the Same day a charge on our bank card shows up for $5.65 at this McDonalds and cleared my bank on the 18th. SO WE PAID FOR FOOD WE NEVER GOT FROM McDONALDS and in my eyes that is stealing peoples money. Also the phone number listed they never pick-up on so there is noway to tell them or get your money back other than to drive back up there. I assume this is how they make a profit! At the end of the day, the teller and drawer should be checked to verify if the money is off or if the cashier is not doing the correct thing and if so something is done but the way this McDonalds is set up this must be a profit center for them when you think how many times this must happen in one day and no one cares about the customer or there hard earned money. I hope someone from McDonalds sees this post and dare them to contact me and explain how this happen and them taking money from our bank unauthorized by us. read more

I used the drive thru to place my order. I asked for a medium chocolate shake with no whip cream and a medium fry. As we pulled out of the drive thru, I realized they did not give us any straws for the milkshakes. The whole reason for using the drive thru was so I didn't have to get out of the car, however that quickly changed as now we needed straws. I went inside to get straws and had to wait for someone since there were no more straws at the drink station. Finally I make it back to the car and find out my fries were cold. While this is a newer McDonald's with order kiosks, the place was very dirty and not busy. We had to look all over to find a clean table, and there was only one other family in the restaurant. However, the staff would not bring out the food even though we were told by kiosk to take a # for delivery.
