Food is typical Chick-fil-a but the drive through is awful. Never would have attempted it had I had known I'd be in line for 40 minutes.

I ordered chick fil a through the drive thru Saturday night & when I got home realized there was a bug in my lemonade. Assuming something with the ice, I called them to let them know the issue. They said "oh sorry someone will call you about that later". I never recieved a call trying to fix this issue. I also heard them laughing in the back ground but was unsure what was going on.. I have been to this chick fil a before & had issues with service & food quality, needless to say I will not be a returning customer read more

While out shopping, we decided to run through the drive-through and grab some lunch. I had a free grilled sandwich reward to use so I got that with ranch, and my fiance got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and sweet tea. Both of our meals came out quickly and were delicious. Well, I roll up in here at 8:10pm to grab a quick meal when I get back into town before heading home from a business trip and I'd like to not eat in my car for a change because I can't stand eating in my car. Come to find out all of the Chick-fil-A's in Wilmington close their doors to their lobby and their customers at 8 PM every night even though they're open until 10 PM every night. It states on the website online that they're open till 10 PM. Doesn't say anything about the lobby closing early. I sat out here in my car doing this review and watched 10 other customers walk up and grab the door expecting to go in and have dinner just to be turned away as I was. Piss poor customer service at this proprietor owner doesn't care about his customers in a good neighborhood with no concern of people just wandering around hanging out in the restaurant that's not customers. Learn to serve your customers that want to come in and dine in just as much as you do your drive-through customers. COVID-19 is over and has been for several years time to get back with the program. read more

I placed a mobile order for two bags of ice and 2 waters. The order said it was ready and would be placed at the pickup inside. I walked in and the store was busy as expected because it was a Saturday. When I walked in and walked to the counter I was standing there for a good 10 minutes with no one asking if I had been helped. I asked if my order was ready to which they walked away and asked another team member to make the two bags of ice. When the two bags of ice were made they were placed on the counter behind the cashiers and they sat there til I had to ask again if I could get my bags of ice. I finally got my order and left. In total it took about 20 minutes to get two bags of ice and 2 waters. I would not recommend coming here if you want a quick bite to grab because you'll be waiting for a while. read more

I didn't catch his name but the guy who raps about your order when he hands you your food in the drive thru makes this location an 11/10 experience. Like I hope he is making extra for that because wow. The one time I dined in was nice too, I love the flowers on the table even though it's a fast food restaurant and the melty mints at the end. Decided to try Cherry Berry Sunjoy on my way by the restaurant. It was coming up on prime lunchtime and there was a small line . I was waited on in no time . Asked to have it created with unsweetened tea and diet lemonade and little ice. No problem was what I was told. I waited a very brief time and received my beverage. It was very flavorful, didn't taste like diet lemonade, the flavors were delicious. Service is always speedy and very friendly. Ok, this specific location is leaps and bounds better than the rest of the locations because of one specific thing: The STAFF! Jeremiah, Kristian, Angel, Margaret...the list goes on and on and I have never, not once, not felt extremely welcomed and left with a smile on my face! This is a restaurant chain so the food is top standard like the other locations but the feeling you'll receive when dining at this specific location will undoubtedly change the rest of your day for the better!! 10/10 I am forever a customer in this, feel good, welcoming, cut above the rest locations of Chick-fil-A! They are the worst customer-friendly place in town. I went there at 8:55 pm. No one was on their lines for the outdoor drive-thru, with two employees standing there. As I began to drive, I saw an employee walking on the far lane. I asked him could he take my order, He said " No drive around, I found it odd because there was no other vehicles I said to him I will be I will not let him take my order, as I drove I her the other employee say the the male employee" I don't want to take his order " when I got around the building I express to the young lady that it was silly to make me drive around the entire building when all he had to do was walk 4 more steps and take the order. The young lady said it was a rule. I also found that hard to believe and asked if that was the manager's rule, so she called the manager over. Levi, I explained to him what had just occurred, and he began to explain their traffic pattern. I clearly understand if there were any other vehicles present, so I said to him There are none. Levi said employees are coached to only take orders in the two lanes. *** Your employee needs to be customer-centric and use common sense, and Coaching should be given to Levi and his management team. Chick-fil-A is a fast-food take-out. My order took less than two minutes, but this horrible experience was more the 18 minutes. This was the second bad experience at this location. *** read more

Slowest Chick-fil-A I've ever seen. The staff is friendly, and they clearly do their best, but the lines are always long, the drive thru lanes were poorly designed, and they are clearly understaffed. The worst part is that even when I order on the Mobile app, they don't begin to make the order until I arrive, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the app, since I still end up waiting 20 minutes for my food. My advice: make sure you don't have to be anywhere for at least half an hour if you're gonna go here. Also, they were out of Buffalo sauce the last two times I stopped here, over two weeks apart. I don't get frustrated with the employees taking orders and preparing the meals, but whoever is responsible for all the "behind the scenes" matters clearly can't keep up. this Chick-fil-A restaurant is my favorite location to go to! Not only is the service absolutely amazing but I love seeing one of the workers Jeremiah (who was in a national commercial for Chick Fil A!!) every time I see him he is so energetic and is so sweet! He truly makes the experience so much better! I ordered my lunch through the Chick-fil-A app and picked it up through the drive-through. I got the original chicken sandwich with no pickles, large fries, a vanilla shake, and some grilled chicken nuggets for my dog. of course everything came out super fast and super fresh. The service is much faster now that they have two drive-through lanes. My advice would be don't get spooked if you see giant lines at this location because they do fly by and you won't be waiting for that long! read more

Waited in the drive thru at 3389 Oleande Dr. there were 4 employees out there. No one took our order. Got to the window and the manager Matt said oh well I'm sorry. He did not care that I had a car full of kids and a pregnant woman and REFUSED to take our order. Said it wasn't fair to the people in line. We too are of the people in line. RACISM is real. If your staff don't want to approach everyone and take everyone's order then they shouldn't be working there! What happened to my pleasure? I just got back from a almost 9 hour round trip ready to have some chick-fil-a and was really disappointed. Chick-fil-a is by far my favorite fast food place to eat at but it just came up extremely short tonight. I ordered 2 chicken sandwich meals and a 12 count nugget meal with avocado lime dressing for two of the meals a Mac and cheese and 3 cokes. What I found out when I got home was that I DIDN'T HAVE ANY of my avocado lime dressing sauce which I PAID FOR and i had to ask for my 3rd coke at the window because they forgot it and I didn't have a fork to even eat my Mac and cheese AND THEY DIDNT GIVE ME ONE OF THE FRIES FOR MY MEAL. I'm highly unsatisfied with this location. This will be the 4th morning in a row that I've woken up as early as possible, keeping in mind I work until 9pm and currently 6 months pregnant, to get there in time for breakfast only to sit in a line wrapped around the building almost twice with no one servicing the line. Any other location has people walking with tablets to take orders and it is so refreshing. Honestly sales would go up a lot if they started servicing like all other locations. read more
